Google internet tv and screen saver?

I have the sony google tv and I love listening to sky.fm radio online. The screen shows that the Web sky.fm logo/page etc.which is boring to watch for hours. I would like to use one of my photos on the USB key or a different screensaver (classic fireplace?) while listening to music. Is this possible, and if so, how do you go?  On that I try to access my photos usb and click on them, the tv screen changes and I lost the radio. I can get the image based on the next image on the screen, but it is black. Is it possible to get a screensaver will all playing online radio? Thank you

Well, I ended up hanging my small laptop, I don't use much, on TV via hdmi cable and hooked up to the audio output of the laptop to my sound system. I use the TV as a monitor. This way I have access to sky.fm through the laptop and download the screensaver starts from my laptop to the tv. The screen saver is on the laptop and turn on after 1 minute of inactivity of the screen, even when the radio is playing. She then casts on television. I was hoping to get this same function on the tv without the need for the laptop, but I guess that it is not yet here. So in a round point average I still accomplished what I wanted. It was easy to set up and I have a nice screen saver art on tv with a fantastic music from the sound system. Made my day. If someone has implemented the ideas of others, I'd appreciate hearing about this.  Anne

  • Why not remove images from my office window and screen saver?

You have a thorny problem and a bit tricky here.

A few months ago, at my work, I got a new iMac (for me). As I was getting started upward, furnished and ready to use, at some point it must be synchronized with my iPad, which was nearby. So, when I open my desktop and screen saver system preferences, I see a multitude of images that I took with my iPad and I somehow was stored and transferred to my work machine. One of these pictures is, shall we say, I don't like for anyone to see except my other significant... and it is possible that I can receive an offer for a new job at some point in the near future. Needless to say, I don't want to leave this pic on my machine here for someone else to run into.

Problem is that I can't remove it. It won't let me select it; -button stays grayed out. The offensive peak is no longer on my iPad, but it remains obstinately to the view from my office window & screen saver system preferences. 1. Why can't select and remove? 2 in the world this image file actually location? I could trash it maybe, if I could find the actual file.

To sum up, I want this pic from this machine, but I can't remove it now as it is. What can I do?

  • Display settings, theme and screen saver windows are unclickable/not unresponsive.

Hey well yesterday when I restarted my computer it set itself to a screen resolution 800 x 600. He has done this before, so I know how do to solve this problem, but when I went to view the settings to change the resolution of the window upward but my pointer turned to the insensitive loading blue circle and if I tried to click on what whether the program immediately become unresponsive. I checked and it was the same for any customization option that opened this area full settings, including the theme and screen saver. I am sure that this problem lasts for a long time, because I remember trying to update my screensaver a few months ago and have the box not to answer. But I have not had to use my display settings since then, so I thought nothing of it.

In any case, help would be appreciated, because I really look forward to working with a resolution of 800 x 600. Thank you very much! :)

  • SAVE DESKTOP THEMES (BACKGROUND) AND SCREEN SAVER QUESTION!

My machine (Dell Desk Top computer) came with everything that I bought with it and I don't have the disc of recovery as well, so, I was just wondering if you can please tell me if there is a way I can save the screen savers and the desktop themes (sets) that accompanies as some of them , or just for nice in the trash when I use the recovery disc (not the one that came with it that I purchased separately from Dell), because they will be gone forever when I do. I don't want to lose them, after that I'm doing the recovery. I would go to the workstation, click on (c :)) local folders on disk, Program Files or WINDOWS to locate their and if so how or is there an easier way to do this and if so, how?) Thank you!

    Hello

OK, first of all visit C:\WINDOWS\Resources you will see a Themes folder, you should be able to right click on this folder, select copy and paste it on your desktop. It's your saved themes.

Alternatively, you can try to find your screensavers by name in the search box. Screensavers in Windows normally have *.scr for if you find everything with different extensions these back up. Some screensavers have .exe extension, but this is a very common extension in Windows so you find your screensavers in between it will be hard. SceenSavers may extend installation directories, but normally you can right click and click 'Install' on screensavers to reinstall on a new operating system.

When you find all your .bmp / .jpg Yes circles, you can just click on them and copy and paste them.

Just take note where you have saved, so you can re-install on a reinstall.

  • Office and loading photo-screen saver

Recently, Mac Book Pro, my wife (2009) started acting incorrectly when we go to active corners or the timer expires and should load the photos.

If I look at the screen saver preferences, we have a relatively small designated images folder. Photos of maybe 20. In preferences, we can see many lines of small images and it may be that the number of lines continues to rise. If we use Active corners or the timer expires, the screen goes black and after a minute or two, the message loading Photos appears.

I looked at all the pictures in the folder and none are corrupt. They all will normally open in preview or Graphic Converter. I tried to change to another photo folder and get the same problem.

I think rather than Office preferences and screen saver is damaged or it is maybe something stored in a library that is corrupted.

I tried to restart the laptop with the SHIFT key is pressed twice and that did not help.

This who should I try next.

Its operating system is 10.11.4 and the Mac laptop is mid-2009.

Suggestions on what do I do then?

    Howdy Gil Woolley,

Thank you for using communities Support from Apple.

I understand that you run into problems when you try to use your photos as screensaver on Mac. your wife you mentioned that you have been able to open these photos on their own with no problem, so you have tried other photos also?  If this isn't the case, I suggest that you try and make the desktop folder photos after your screen saver to see if the problem persists:

    / Library/screen saver by default/Collections

If Yes, then the next step that I suggest is to test this behavior in a new user account:

How to test with another user account

You can find out if unexpected behavior is related to the user file or a parameter in trying to reproduce the problem to a different user account. This process includes creating a new user account, connect to it and test for the issue.

    Create a test user account

    1. In the Apple menu, choose System Preferences.
    2. Click the users and groups in the System Preferences window.
    3. Click the lock icon and enter an administrator name and password.
    4. Click on the button Add (+) below the list of users.
    5. Choose a type of user in the new pop-up menu.
    6. Give the user a name and first name, account name, and password.
    7. Click OK.
    8. Close the System Preferences window.

If there are documents from your user account that you want to test with original, place a copy of these items in the shared folder in the users folder. Press the Option key while dragging a file in this folder to create a copy.

Connect to the test user account

Log out of your current user account by choosing logout in the Apple menu, and then open a session the new account that you created. If you are prompted to login with your iCloud or Apple ID account when you log in, skip this step.

    Try to reproduce the problem

Try the same steps that caused the unexpected behavior to appear. For example, if you are unable to print, try printing from this user account. If you were unable to connect to the Internet, try to navigate on a website of this user account.

How to test a question in another account on your Mac.

Please report back with your results so that we can further this issue.

    Take care.

  • Screen saver and iPhoto

My screen saver uses pictures to iPhoto. It used to randomly display 1 photo at a time for 10-15 seconds, then move on to another new. Without deliberate change on my part, it has recently started to show a mosaic of several photos in iPhoto at the same time in screen saver mode.  It is disconcerting for a screen saver to have a split screen with an image showing the family on the beach in Hawaii, one or the other of us ski and the other to Thanksgiving dinner. How can I make screensaver back to show a snapshot of iPhoto at the same time? Help appreciated.

Open "System Preferences > desktop and screen saver" and select one of the themes, which shows only one photo at a time, for example 'Classic' or 'Ken Burns '.

  • After leaving the screen saver, display shuts off and change to select the user account screen

I have a windows7 32 bit desktop. While everything works fine the problem is whenever I leave the keyboard and mouse intact even for one minute, the display turns off and change to select the screen of the user. 'Disable the display' and "put the computer to sleep" has been on 'never' and screen saver changed nothing but the problem still persists.

    Please provide the solution

    Hi Sam,

    Sorry for the late reply.

I understand that when your computer is left idle, the select user screen appears.

The issue can be caused if the power plan settings are incorrect.

To get a better understanding of the issue, I want to know:

    1. What is the brand and model of your computer?
    2. You did it changes on your computer before this problem?

To resolve the problem, try the following methods:

Method 1: Troubleshooting to be able to run.

The resolution of the problems of power check things as settings timeout of your computer, which determines how long the computer waits before turning off the display or enter the mode 'sleep'. These settings can help you save energy and extend the life of the battery in your computer.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/open-the-power-Troubleshooter

After trying method 1, if the problem persists, try Method 2.

Note: When you're done, restart your computer and check if your computer works fine. If the problem persists, try Method 2.

Method 2: Change the screensaver settings.

  • BlackBerry Smartphones recent update and now no screen saver

(I recently yesterday) updated my software on my Blacberry Bold 9700.  Before update 2 function keys for standby (right if you look at the phone) and lock (left side) on the top just that fact with the lock button showing a screen saver until the screen become black after a break.  The phone lock button to access the screen saver function that comes with more downloadable themes.  It is now the screen turns off as if it is in standby mode.  The standby key has now no functionality.

Is there a way to fix this?   I had a look through all the options and took a look at BB to help, but I don't see a way to assign or change the key features of locking.  I didn't really use the sleep button on the all so not worth it if I can't change that.

(Sorry if this has already been answered elsewhere I was not sure what search term to use and 'screen saver' and 'pending' did not help at all.

Yes, it has been asked and answered many times, and you wouldn't have around her as a "screen saver" like the BlackBerry doesn't really have any screen saver. What you're looking for is the "lock screen", and the function of the button mute on the upper part has changed, with the latest software updates, several months ago.

Also, get what you want, you will need to have a password on the device.

In otherwise, touch the top edge just puts the unit in standby mode.

  • Screen saver will not be full screen

    Hello!

I have win 7 with IE 11 on my desk, and after installing a screensaver on my computer, it only appears in the middle of the screen, with a large space around it.

There is no "stretch" function  Does anyone know how to fix this please, so that it fills the screen?

Because you installed the screensaver yourself, we are not aware of the characteristics of the settings and screen saver. That's why I suggest you contact the support division of company, who developed the screen saver, to repair.
