Google TGM does not open a new tab
I only use the FF search bar in the upper right, no other toolbars are installed. Search google with the small blue 'g' opens in the same tab that is currently open. Google (TGM) used to open the search page in a new tab and not automatically switch to him - I liked it. Since the update FF19, it has lost this ability, it now opens in the same tab I'm already.
I put the Manage search engines.
I went through the troubleshooting.
I have reset Firefox.
I checked all the Add-ons.
I went through the process of management of the Group tab.
Thanks in advance for any help you can provide.
The solution to everything: working config. Thank you.

CTRL-T and add a tab to the right of the tab button does not open a new tab
Firefox worked fine and then both the Ctrl-T and add a new tab will not open a new tab. New tabs can be opened by a link.
Make a check of malware with some scan of malware programs.
You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

Firefox does not open a new tab
Firefox has stopped to let me open a new tab. If I click on the sign more, press Ctrl-T, or go to file > new tab, nothing happens. The only way that will open a new tab is if I click on a link in an email, it opens the link in a new tab. I use tabs frequently and it is very annoying to have to go get an email with a link just so I can open a tab. It doesn't matter if I only have a single or several tabs open. I have not installed another thing that Firefox and Windows updates (I have Windows 7). I am running Firefox 24.0 but the problem started with the earlier version.
Try Firefox Safe mode to see how it works there.
A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.
The problems of Firefox using Firefox SafeMode- You can open the mode without failure of Firefox 15.0 + by pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
- Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.
To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.
If it's good in Firefox Safe mode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.

New tab does not work - could not open a new tab
I can not open a new tab, using OSX 10.9.4 and 31.0 Firefox. I tried the '+' and the key combination. Thank you-
Many users have discovered that this problem (in Firefox 30 and more) is caused by led modules, for example a plugin Conduit and/or an extension "Community Toolbar.
You can check and disable the extensions on page modules. Either:
- Command + shift + a
- "3-bar" menu button (or tools) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, when in doubt, turn off.
Often, a link will appear above at least an extension disabled to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links in the last step.
What helps with the button "+"? If so, you can name the specific extension that caused the problem?
You can also see the Plugins page modules. You can never use 'activate' to disable plugins that you do not usually use.

Every time I open a new tab, I want Firefox to go to the homepage of Google http://www.google.com/. Now when I open a new tab, the tab is empty. Therefore, I have to click on the Home icon on the upper right corner - the icon with the little house. How do you make firefox go to the homepage of Google every time an open a new tab?
Install this module, then in the options of the module, set the page you want to open in each new tab: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/newtaburl/
- Set options for an extension: Modules > Extensions, click Options next to the extension.

Could not open a new tab should get a link and open it in a new tab.
I can not open a new tab, or by clicking on the button in the toolbar, go to the file/open new tab or CTRL T. I think that this has happened after I've upgraded to the latest version of Firefox. The only way I can get a new tab is to click on a bookmark or a link, right click and select open in a new tab. Very frustrating.
