How to go to a web page of specfic (IE google homepage) everytime I open a new tab in firefox?
Every time I open a new tab, I want Firefox to go to the homepage of Google http://www.google.com/. Now when I open a new tab, the tab is empty. Therefore, I have to click on the Home icon on the upper right corner - the icon with the little house. How do you make firefox go to the homepage of Google every time an open a new tab?
Install this module, then in the options of the module, set the page you want to open in each new tab: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/newtaburl/
- Set options for an extension: Modules > Extensions, click Options next to the extension.

But the problem persists.(it is not happen when I open firefox, only happens when I open a new tab, while firefox is already open)
How can I change this back to normal? I need only a blank page to open.
- In the address bar, type Subject: config and press ENTER.
- In the filter at the top, type: keyword. URL
- Double click top and delete everything in it and replace it with http://www.google.com/search?q=
The URL to add in "keyword. URL"becomes a link in this message, right-click and choose"Copy link location"to copy it to the Windows Clipboard. Then press CTRL + V to paste. You have to type all of this saves.
If your homepage has changed too, follow these steps.

How can I keep search Babalon from appearing everytime I open a new tab?
I used to have the problem that whenever I open Firefox, my homepage, motor of research and new tabs were all Babalon search. I managed to get rid of the search engine, and I think I've fixed to the homepage, but everytime I open a new tab need me always in search of Babalon. I removed all the AddOns that are associated with Babalon, I have also removed/uninstalled programs Babalon. I even tried simply to block the Web site, but that doesn't seem to work. All suggestions are welcome! Thank you!

Do a check with some malicious software malware scanning programs.
You need to scan with all programs, because each program detects a different malicious program.

When I opened a new tab, the top sites page load, but he immediately passes to another site. How can I avoid this and keep on the page of the top site of the page. I can't use the selector switch I'm sent to a different site.
Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is the cause of the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Firefox/tools > Modules > appearance).
- Do NOT click on the reset button on the startup window Mode without failure.

How do you disable MySearch Dial to being the value by default when you open a new tab?
I was able to change from being the default in the search box at the top of the browser, but every time I open a new tab the whole tab by default is always to the search page of MySearchDial. I think it was somehow installed on my pc via the malware and it seems to have gotten rid of it in IE and Chrome, but he persists in Firefox. Also I do not see it in the list of programs in the control panel so I can't uninstall it like that (unless it's called something else?).
Hello, you have various present malicious addons. Please, try the following steps:
- Reset firefox (this will keep your bookmarks and passwords)
- then go to firefox > addons > extensions and where there are still extensions listed there, disable them.
- Finally, run a full scan of your system with security tools like the free version of malwarebytes and adwcleaner to ensure that adware is not present in other parts of your system as well.

Help! A few days previously, toolbar 'Advanced search Nation' (SIN) began to appear when I opened Firefox. I removed the SIN application of my computer that got rid of the toolbar, but now when I click to open a new tab, the tab opens with the URL of NAS. I was not able to prevent this. I downloaded and installed Firefox again, but that has not worked. I used the Spotlight to search for advanced search of Nation, but none were found. I hope someone can help me with this problem, and believe me when I say that I'll be very grateful for any help. Thank you.
Use the searchreset tool and remove a user.js file as possible.

Everytime I open a new tab, all I see is a blank page that says "file not found".
The address bar displays the text "chrome://quick_start/content/index.html". I tried to change the default new tab page, but it never works.
Hi, try this: Type Subject: config in the address bar, press ENTER, accept the warning, scroll to browser.newtab.url and make sure that 'Value' is defined Subject: newtab (right click to change). (Take care of not to change what anyone else).
I hope it will work for you.

I uninstalled Snap.do but not completely erase my whole history, nothing has worked so far. Whenever I open a new tab in Firefox, Snap.do is like the search bar. What a pain!
If you don't like to reset, follow these steps: go in firefox > addons > extensions and remove any suspicious entries (toolbars, the things that you have not installed intentionally, I don't know what purpose they serve, etc.). also, go to the windows control panel / programs and remove all toolbars or potentially unwanted software from there and run a full scan of your system with the security software you have in place and various other tools such as the free version of malwarebytes & adwcleaner.
Remove a toolbar that has supported your Firefox or the homepage search
Fix Firefox problems caused by malicious softwarethen install the reset search addon - he'll come back more often customizations make these adware programs in default firefox: https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/searchreset/

I want my home page to open every time I open a new tab. Where is the setting for that?
When I open a new tab, it is always empty. I want it opens automatically to my homepage everytime I open a new tab.
I thought I found a framework for this, but I can't find it now. There is no setting for this, but you can do this by using an add-on such as:
- NewTabURL - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/newtaburl
- New tab Homepage - https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/new-tab-homepage
Another way to open the home page in a new tab is in the Middle, click the home button in the navigation toolbar.
