  It can be useful to close Captivate and demolish the DAT file.

  You should find the DAT file in the following location:

  C:\Documents andYourLoggedInUserNameHere\Application Data\Adobe\Adobe Settings\ seduce

  The file is named captivate_v40.dat

  Simply delete the file (or rename it if you are hinky on the removal of things) and restart Captivate and try again.

  In WinMail go to tools | Accounts | Mail and check if the other account is there.  If so remove it and make sure you have the correct account as default.  Then go to control panel | Default programs | Associate a type of file or Protocol with a program and a page down to protocols and are looking for the Mailto and set default Winmail.

  If it does not help, then you should explain what you mean by "opens someone to another email address.
