  To add information to Andy, many devices require a polynomial scale is because the analog-to-digital converter (ADC) on the device has non-linearity at the top and bottom of the range ends.  A linear scaling of the raw data would not account for these non linearity, which is their precision and very high and very low readings.  So instead, we use a polynomial scale that reflects much better the actual physical properties of the device.

  Hi, I went through a lot of troubleshooting why I no longer hear any sound coming from my speakers and I've nailed down for my integrated sound card, I think.

  The problem began when after playing Civ V the game crashed and restarted my system. When he started upward again echi output 'Cannot detect the sound device' speaker symbol was in the status bar.   My thought is that if you go into your sound settings and the speakers are active display and the meter shows her will... There must be the speakers.
  Now assuming that these are internal speakers and assuming that outs of your headphones and speakers are not the same...
  When you have tried the new sound card, you have disabled the current configuration?

• BlackBerry Smartphones showing new SMS when there is not?

  I have the Blackberry Storm, v. 4.7.0.75, and my phone shows w / an astrik on "SMS" icon on the home screen that I have new messages. It does NOT indicate that at the top of the home screen where the time is displayed as it does normally if there are any new texts, emails, etc. I get out my phone's battery and replaced it, and the astrik went maybe 5 seconds, then reappeared again. If I go to the menu screen (show all icons) then go back to the home screen, the astrik will disappear momentarily and then come back. I have NO new messages, all saved messages, or something like that. If anyone knows what I can do, please help.

I checked with my email providers email based web browsers to see if new emails have came that should go into the folder named application and none has to go into the folder of file titled application.   Just to be safe, you deleted the content of the album "recently deleted" inside the photo app?

  If Yes, have you ever tried to force reboot the phone by holding down the button sleep and home for 10 seconds, until the Apple logo comes back again?

  You won't lose data by doing this, but it can cure a few glitches.

  If still no luck, set it back to factory settings and restore from last backup:

  Try to run the printer Troubleshooter and check that if it helps, here is the link:

  It can me that an ink cartridge is running out of ink. The ink low warning occurs when your cartridges are about 25% full, full of 15% and 5%. When one of these messages appears, you can:

  1. click on OK.

  2. click on the? Sign up for information about ordering supplies.

  3. replace the ink cartridges.

  Message of paper jam:
  If your all-in-one has a paper jam, one of these messages will appear on the screen:

  Download Process Explorer: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896653.aspx to see what is running as it happens (much better than the Manager of tasks).

  Download Process Monitor: http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/sysinternals/bb896645.aspx to see and follow what is currently running on a period of time (which is more difficult to analyse, but maybe the story).

  If those who do not help (but they certainly must), try a clean boot (Vista and W7) http://support.microsoft.com/kb/929135. If the problem goes away then it's just a matter of tracking down the culprit at the origin of the problem. Follow the procedures described in the article. Once found, remove, delete, disable or uninstall. Once don't forget to reset your system back to the normal state, as described in the procedures. If the problem occurs in clean mode then just restore the system to normal and reboot - this solution will not work.
