Graphics Illustrator; Add totals to the definition of the column; Need, (comma) as the decimal separator

Hi all

I am change an annual report of the German.

I live in Australia.

My system runs OS X 10.10.2 and my CC from the Adobe Suite is English (or Australian, if that makes a difference in some libraries)

I need to create a group of column and bar charts.

The label next to a single column or bar is taken automatically distributed data.

The decimal in the propagation data separator is a. (full stop, or dot)

I need display a comma on the final graph. This is the standard in many European languages.

If I enter a comma in the distributed data refuses to Illustrator to draw a graph for this value.

How can I do this?

Concerning

Romano

Romano,

Your results seem to confirm my understanding.

Is that what this means that you can open the file in comma-State and close again without editing, then the client will get that (in other words a simple solution to the question)?

    I think the problem was the misconfigured import filter.

    You can change the decimal separator for each column in the last step of the configuration dialog box. Simply select the numeric column (data channel) in the data preview and select the good seprator for data in the upper part of the dialog box.

    hope this helps

    Hello
    I am a model in the XML Editor, for a report of accounts receivable in the E-Business Suite. So I use MS Word with the Publisher Oracle XML model builder plug-in software component.

    The data comes from the E-Business suite by using the comma as decimal separator. For example: 123,99
    My goal is to have the period as the decimal separator. For example: 123.99
    Does anyone know what code should I use to achieve this?

    Any thoughts on how I can solve these problems?  Illustrator works very well on the mac for months.

    You must move to Illustrator CC 2015.3

  • Can display US 100.00 100.00 (replace '.) ('by',' as the decimal separator)

    Hello

    I would replace the separator of decimal point with a comma (",") instead of the current decimal point ('.) ')

    This is why numbers now appear as 100,00 instead of the 100.00 that appears as a default.

    How can this be achieved in 11.1.1.5.0?

    Thank you

    Hello good people, I have a problem when you try to generate an Excel report, please see the image below:

    If I disable the comma localized for this VI, do you think I'll be able to use it as a Subvi without changing the decimal separator of the VI calling parameters?

    My Excel also prefers with a floating point numbers, but I do not understand why numbers lower than that will not be treated as numbers right away?

    Hello OscarJ,

    Unfortunately the position of the decimal point is global, so call VI is affected, too.

    But there are other possible solutions: you can convert your double array in an array of strings. Conversion functions 'number in string' to disable the explicitly localized comma:

    Now, you can add text to your report.

    Your excel seems to interpret "," so that thousands separator and '.' as the decimal separator, so the incorrect number conversion. It seems a little odd since you say he prefers ',' as the decimal separator... There may be something to do with the office report generation tool.

  • return only the decimal value

    What function can I use to return only the decimal value of a formula

    (97 * 2.2) / 14 value returns 15.24

    I only want to use le.24

    Salvation is

    Use the formula - INT (formula)

    In the special case above:

    =(97*2.2)/14 - INT ((97*2.2)/14)

    You see two places to the right of the decimal separator in reason to be rounded off to the value real, in the shape of the cell to only show as two decimal places, either by setting the width of the cell close enough to force the rounding of the displayed value.

    Note that if the result is rounded (using the ROUND function) the actual value of the cell will be the rounded value. For the other two cases, the value displayed indicates only two decimal places, but the real value in the cell (and the additional calculations used by referring to this cell) is 0.242857142857144, which could lead to surprises in the results of the calculations downstream.

  • Change the decimal point by point in the writing of the measurement file

    Y at - it than a simple means of LabVIEW to set the decimal separator to be the point instead of the comma? (in writing to measure file vi)

    now, the data is like this 56 897 but I like it in the format 56.897

    In the table, is stored as a character or a numeric value?

    My databases are set to use a period rather than a comma as the decimal separator, so substitute accordingly. Also I'm questioning the value of double rather than a table, but this seems to be what you want?

    Select Replace (to_char (00123456.12, 'FM00999999.9900'),'.) ') twice;

    REPLACE (TO_CHAR (123456.12, 'FM00999999.9900'),'. ')

  • Decimal separator in the SELECT Clause

    Hello

    I have the following parameters of decimal number:

    SQL > select value
    2 from v$ nls_parameters
    3 where parameter = "NLS_NUMERIC_CHARACTERS;

    VALUE
    ----------------------------------------------------------------
    ,.

    If I show a decimal number, I get a comma as decimal separator
    SQL > select 10/100 double;

    10/100
    ----------
    1

    But if I use a decimal separator in the SELECT clause, I get:

    SQL > select 100 * 1.1 double;

    100 * 1 1
    ---------- ----------
    1 100

    It does not work. But the use of a period as the decimal separator works:

    SQL > select 1.1 * 100 double;

    1.1 * 100
    ----------
    110

    Maybe it's something that I never had to deal with before, but I thought that the number format applied to results of sql, as well as the numbers you have used sql clauses.

    Kind regards

    Hi, Nestor,

    No.; it applies to the results and it can affect implicit conversions, but it does not apply to the SQL code.
    The period (or dot, '.') is the decimal separator in literals always digital. There is no way to change this.

    Think how confusing it would be if it applied to the SQL code. For example:

    WHERE   num_col  IN (1,2)

    We compare num_col values 1 or 2? He comes in, what happens if we wanted to do the opposite?

    If you really want to use the comma as the decimal separator, you may have to use strings, not numbers, and it could be much less effective.
    For example:

    SELECT 100 * TO_NUMBER ('1,1') -- This assumes your NLS settings are correct
    FROM    dual;

    Of course, the effectiveness will not be a problem when you select 1 row of double.

  • Select change the decimal type

    I'm a database that use the comma "," as decimal for numbers. I would like to make a select that takes these figures using '. ' as the decimal separator.

    for example, I have a 1.34 value in the database, I would do a select that returns this value of 1.34

    Just use REPLACE

    select replace('1,3',',','.') from dual

    Hello
    This problem can be caused by an accident that I had on my computer which has led me to ask for help
    "Impossible to re - install 1.5.1 after crash".
    After replacing all 'C:\Documents and Settings\guan\Application Data\SQL Developer\system1.5.1.54.40' file SQL dev works normally again.

    First I thought that the problem has been resolved, but when I try to "export data / insert"it always returns"."-separated Insert statements instead of ',' separated from those
    Example:
    INSERTION of REM in DATA_TYPES
    Insert into DATA_TYPES (ID, NAME) values (1.') STRING ");"
    Insert into DATA_TYPES (ID, NAME) values (2. (' DATE');
    Insert into DATA_TYPES (ID, NAME) values (3. (' NUMBER ');

    Preferences / database / General Export settings is comma ', '.

    I m almost sure I didn t I have this problem on 1.5.1 before the crash
    Are there more preferences to replace?
    All ideas are welcome

    There is a currently open bug where export uses the decimal separator of the NLS parameter as values separator.

    Solution: Change your NLS settings (risky)

    arwinq,

    You can see the system requirements, including the maps here.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Illustrator/system-requirements.html

    but I fear that you may be taken in this GPU issue described by butz in post #13 here:

    https://forums.Adobe.com/message/7773402#7773402

    You can try to switch between GPU and CPU by pressing Ctrl / Cmd + E, or you try disabling GPU performance by clicking on the icon of the rocket in the bar of the App, or on the top of the menu bar, deselect the box Performance GPU. You may also uncheck performance GPU in your preferences.
