It has been asked and answered many times by people in the past, but I can't always fix it.

    The color mode is RGB

When I opened a new doc it only colors in black and white.

new layers can sometimes be coloured.

Other strange things, it's that when I color new documents that they sometimes have a pinkish shade. Thus, a light gray is a rose grey. Reds are brown muddy pinky. But not always.

    aaaagaggghhhhhhhh

I need to send a drawing to a camera digital printing company and don't know if I'll get the colors I see on the screen.

    Help, please

It would be helpful it you could show that your problems with Photoshop screen capture the show that you have opened a new RGB document in some color space and can only paint grayscale as show layer mask that there is no red, green, and blue channels in the palette layers Photoshop.  If they indeed do not exist which could be deleted then.

  • Display the fonts in Photoshop (menus, tools, etc.)

I searched for two days for a way to increase the font size of the display in CS4 (WIndows 7). In the process, I found that the same problem exists in Cs5 I using a 21 "monitor in its native resolution and would go blind, trying to see the menus and tools.

    1. even once, does anyone know if it is possible to increase the font size?

    2. If it is not possible, I must say that I find Adobe programmers incredibly Miss sensitivity: not everyone has eyes they had 17

    Oliver

It is an often repeated request, and the answer is no. At the present time there is no way to increase the size of the front.

Best you can do is send a feature request form.  If enough people submit the same request, could be acted upon.

  • The menu in Photoshop CS6 seems odd.

Many of the tabs in the menu are marked with blue and does not work. Does anyone know how to fix this?Screen Shot 2016-02-12 at 22.16.36.png

Under Edit > Menus (probably Photoshop > Menus on a Mac) you can assign colors to the menu items. (and remove)

They should work, however, but you must of course a document is open for most of them to work.

    Hi doriv,

    • Update your graphics card driver.
    • You have the graphical configuration Swichable?
    • As Mylenium says you must add this parameter in graphic control panel so that Photoshop can detect your card.
    • Open graphic switchable Configuration and add sniffer.exe and Photoshop.exe (from C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Photoshop Cs6). See graphics switchable troubleshooting questions unde... | Community

  • Photoshop is flicking on Windows 10

    Hey,.

After the latest updates, Photoshop started to blink all the time,

I use it on Windows 10 with graphics card NVIDIA GT730 with the latest drivers installed.

Tried workarounds that I found on the internet (such as changing basic performance preferences and not to use the GPU) but nothing helps.

It is impossible to do anything in Photoshop, menus are closed automatically, the mouse does not respond no and I can't even rename a layer.

    Thanks in advance,

    Alexander.

    Hi Alexander,.

Suggest make you in Photoshop preferences > General > uncheck "Show workspace start when no documents are open" > restart Photoshop and check again.

  • Photoshop Elements 8 won't open my jpg files

I'm sure this problem has something to do with my cat who loves to sit on my keyboard and make havoc, but since yesterday, when I try to open a jpg file, nothing happens.  I just do what I normally do, file > open, and then navigate to the jpg format, but given that this latest incident of cat-sitting, when I do that the jpg does not open.  I have nothing but the big gray Photoshop home page.  I hope that someone has seen this before and can tell me how to solve this problem.  Thank you!

    Hi Jen,

I'm sorry but I LOL'd seen your post - the cat sitting-on-your-keyboard contraption!

I do not think that your cat might have messed up your keyboard - because if this is the case your file > Open (with mouse) should work!

Moreover, since your Finder (Mac) or Explorer (Windows), you can right-click an image file / PSD files and open with > Photoshop Elements to see if it opens?

BTW, you mentioned you see "Screen in Photoshop" - are you on Photoshop or Photoshop Elements? They are 2 different softwares.

You can also try clearing prefs - http://forums.adobe.com/thread/375776

Please, post a screenshot if possible to help us help you.

  • MS Word 2007 is causing a conflict with PhotoShop CS5

When I created PowerPoint presentations (which I do a lot), I have PhotoShop open to edit photos that I will. If I open MS Word too, I can't choose anything on any of the PhotoShop menus (they do not highlight). As soon as I close Word, all's well again. I am running Windows 7 Home Premium 64 - bit, with PhotoShop 64-bit and 32-bit Word. The computer is a Sony Vaio with a fast processor i5 Core and 6 GB of RAM, it should be able to deal with multiple applications open at the same time.

I'm sure this is a graphic problem caused by Word, since I noticed that Solitaire and other games Windows slow down to a crawl when Word is open also.

Someone else had this specifically with PhotoShop and, if so, have you found a solution?

If you use Word, and PS, please could you try and reproduce this problem?

If you have Word 2010, please could see you if he has the same problem?

    Thank you very much.

I've heard of this issue with the word before (maybe on this forum... try a search). I vaguely remember that it was due to a third-party add-in for Word. EndNote comes to mind.

  • Someone at - it managed to open and use the white window workaround plugin?

I just upgraded to El Capitan on my Mac to find that I now have problems using my Tablet Wacom with Photoshop CS6. Looking at the discussions on this forum, I find that the sensible and apparently permanent solution is the white window workaround plugin. I found the link but it just usually open and install. CS6 open custom it and none of the applications on the app store's free zip entertain you it. I'm no whizz IT, but I'm not stupid either. Other people have this problem. Can anyone help?

    Andy

You need to download the WhiteWindowWorkaround.plugin1_0_6.zip first to your mac

and then double-click the file to extract the plugin since the zip.

    https://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop/KB/Photoshop-menus-turn-white-Mac.html

Just click the link once and then pass your download folder.

You have no need for any third-party zip apps do what os x can do it herself.
