Help! stuck in shades of gray photoshop CC15

• Shade of color shows ONLY shades of gray on the gradient layer...?

  My color chart seems to be defaulting to only shades of gray on a gradient layer, and I can just find a way to let him replace the color I chose.  After that I created a new layer of gradient fill, when I have the layer selected in the layer list on the right side of the screen, color samples show ONLY gray.  If I click on the sample, it brings up the color selector, but no matter what color I select, the swatch shows shades of gray.  If I select the background layer, it goes back to show my color.

  There's probably a simple explanation to this problem, but I was searching Google for literally hours without finding an answer.  I found some similar questions have the response "go to Image, Mode, and make sure that RGB is selected."  Mine is already set to RGB, so it's not the question.

  How can I change the colors in a gradient fill layer, and why my color chart displays grayscale only when I selected gradient fill layer, even if by clicking on the color chart reveals the color picker?

  To change/edit the gradient colors, double click on the thumbnail of the gradient in the layers panel fill

  Then in the gradient fill box, click just to the right of the gradient word to change the colors

  In the gradient editor, click one of the stages of the color at the bottom of the gradient bar and click color to change the color of this judgment

• Windows Photoshop CC15 10 BSOD

  Most recently (in the last 3 weeks) my copy of Photoshop CC15 was crashing my computer start up. I'm on Windows 10. The error I get is kernel_security_check_failure. I tried to reinstall, but the same problem occurs.

• Why the paint bucket color only shades of gray?

  I use Paint to fill colors and although I see and choose the colors of the spectrum, I'm getting is shades of gray.  What happened to the colors of the foreground and the background, why only come on shades of gray while in the selector, it shows that I took a color?

  probably, you work in a black and white document (in grayscale). go to image > mode > RGB color.

  Another possibility: you can work on a mask. Press ESC, and then go to go to layer > new layer and is if that helps.

• try to get a replacement of color, but only shades of gray

  so I'll try to turn a few grains of Maple finish in white and obviously don't want to just paint it white so that it looks fake. but I still want to keep the gradient and the shadows / edges to make it look real. problem is that whenever I try to do an exchange of color, it comes out a terrible shade of gray. What is the trick to get around this? I am eager to turn the same shade as the white cabinets.

  I would like to forget with color replacement tools and do something like the following.

  1 make a selection of the filling

  2. go in layer > new adjustment layer > levels

  (this creates a mask so levels only affects the topping)

  3 make a fill color above the levels layer Layer

  Layer > new fill layer > solid color and sample a color from the wall

  4. go to layer > create clipping mask

  The clipping mask is so the color is only in the selected area of the mask on the layer levels

  5. change the Layer blending Mode of the layer of color to color fill

  6 adjust the level sliders to get the desired color of trim matching and the wall

  Double click on the thumbnail of levels in the layers panel to adjust levels

  I am well aware I could you bought the disc version. I bought the software Officemax in Vicksburg, MS I thought that the disc was included in the box.

  Three things I can think of:

  Your document must be in RGB mode.

  Layer blending mode should be set to Normal

  Masks are grayscale. If you select the mask, you cannot apply a color.

  Always check your tab at the top to see if what you choose is RGB or grayscale.

  • It depends on what kind of work you do.
  • You can get rid of Photoshop elements 11, but I think you should keep the other application where you need it.
  • Adobe Bridge is the kind of an organizer.
  • The extension manager is used to install plugins adobe or third, but 4 CS is old enough, the most recent version is CC

  I think you can get rid of them, once you make sure you don't need those for your work.

  Looks like you are installing in the extensions manager that is no longer supported for 2015 of CC. Please refer to the CC app instead.

  for editing? Back to the original version of the photo...
  Left click in the option "Cancel" until the unwanted
  Edit is deleted or until the gray option out.

  When you use the "Fix red eye"... enlarge the eye by
  Zoom with. Carefully drag the box so it only
  borders the red eye area. Releasing the
  mouse button activates the change. In some cases, you
  may need to use the tool 'fix red eye"more than once.

  If you make a box larger than the red area of the eye
  and if there are shades of red in the region of the face... they can
  be obscured. The tool detects red in the selection box
  but has no way of knowing if it's in the eyes or elsewhere.

• What is the best graphics card I can buy for Photoshop CC15

  Im a new machine construction. I have a GTX 980 Ti in my current computer. On large files, the brush attached to 5000px gets stuck.

  IM wondering if a more/better card would improve it. Someone suggested a Titan X or Quadro M6000 or would that be an overdose?
