Group Policy settings are not correctly on TS with IE9

In our Active Directory environment with the GPO setting: Configuration of the user-> policies-> administration-> Windows components/Internet models explore / Internet Control Panel / Security Page-> Site to Zone assignment list, we have a list of Trusted Sites.  If users connect to a Terminal Server running 2008 Server Std with IE8 installed, sites are affected confidence as expected.  However, it has the same users connect to a Terminal Server running 2008 Server R2 with IE9 installed, sites are NOT assigned as reliable.  I run gpresult to these users, and the report shows that this policy is applied, but GP behaves differently on different servers.

Hello Jim Pallotta,.

-What version of the operating system is installed on your computer?

If you work on a computer that is running Windows Server 2008, and then the question would be better suited in the TechNet support. I suggest you to report the problem in the following link.

    Hello

The reason for not being able to connect to the iTunes store may be due to the "hosts file" blocking the iTunes Store, or it can also be caused by security software, most likely, it might be Norton Firewall.

  • After you have reinstalled Windows XP, the video settings are not correct

    Original title: parameters viedo

I had to reformat and reinstall XP.  Everything works except for things like graphics, cards and other games and some pictures.  They are very wide and short.   I guess it's something in the video settings defined in landscape mode, but I can't find where.   Can anyone help.

    Thank you

    Caz

You probably just set your screen resolution to match your monitor.
Right-click on an empty area of your desktop and select 'Properties', then click on the 'Settings' tab at the top.
At the bottom left there is a box of "Screen Resolution."  Drag the marker to change the screen resolution to a setting that matches your monitor...  You determine this by the ratio of the width to the height.  Some common resolutions to the dimensions of the screen are the following:

    4:3 = 800 x 600, 1024 x 768, 1280 x 960, 1600 x 1200
    5:4 = 1200 x 1024
    8:5 = 1440 x 900, 1680 x 1050
    16:9 = 1280 x 720, 1776 x 1000, 1920 x 1080 (widescreen)

After you change this setting and click on 'OK', the screen will become to this resolution.  It will give you a few seconds to confirm that the monitor can display this resolution. If you see the screen, click on 'OK '.  If your screen is empty, don't panic but just wait 30 seconds approximately and your screen will return.

  • How can I correct a problem accessing my firewall settings because the Group Policy client does not connect to windows?

I have tried everything recently adjust the settings of the firewall from my window and a box appears saying that after an unidentified error, I can't access my firewall. After some research, I discovered that it was because my client group policy server does not connect and a small box appears saying that whenever I connect to my laptop. It is not effect my use of the internet at all, so I've never bothered to see what that meant until now I need to access my firewall. I tried to adjust the settings in group policy, but everything is gray and I can't change anything. I use an admin account so I don't know why I can't set the parameters. I'm completely stuck and I don't know that much about computers. Is there anything else I can try? I also tried a system restore, but it lasts for a long time and I can return only 5 days. Thank you

    Hi Sheldon,

Are you connected or connected to a work network or domain? If so, this could be a policy governed by your network administrator, and you will not be able to change it.

I currently have windows 7 Professional 64 and I changed the settings of group policy to stop this annoying nagging screen pop to the top telling me to restart the computer after an update, but recently he has returned once again, and I made no changes to my group policy settings. Is now without taking into account this Microsoft Group Policy setting and not to say that the only way to avoid this is to disable windows update to install automatically?

I tried to fix it and he said that the display settings are not optimized that means

    Hello

    This fixit?

Have you tried to make the resolution equal to the native resolution of your screen?

Right-click on an empty part of your desktop, and then click Properties. Click on the settings tab, drag the slider to the right. This should give the native resolution of your monitor. If not you may need to get the latest drivers for the graphics card.

If that makes things too small, you can try to slide to the left to get a lower resolution but I suggest using only a resolution that maintains the same ratio as the native resolution of your screen.

  • Mobile data does not and the name of the Access Point settings are not available

I don't have a mobile data, not even the small up and down arrows or letters beside the sims signal bars appear.

I tried all the troubleshooting settings and different type of network, the airplane mode is off, mobile data are no limit, no power save modes are on. Phone is dual sim so I tried on the two sims and tried to disable the other sim and changing the sim slots, both sims are loaded with a credit of data that works in other android devices. WiFi works fine. Factory reset does not help.

There is that one thing that I can't not try troubleshooting. When I select settings > more > mobile networks > access point names, it says

"Access Point name settings are not available for this user.

Maybe if I could put APN I could get mobile data. How can I do or how I can try to get mobile data to work?

Phone's Xperia M4 Aqua E2363 with build 26.1.B.2.102 thanks if you can help

This text is a bit misleading, which is something that I have forwarded internally as your comments.

If you have no NPP stored the phone displays the text "the name of the Access Point settings are not available for this user" even if you use the owner account and have access to the settings.

Try to download the automatic settings from settings-> more-> Internet settings and see if that helps.
