Guarantee in the United Kingdom

I bought a new R61e yesterday with 1 year warranty, but I checked the warranty today. It ends in 2009-5-22. Is this normal? My guarantee is then 9 months instead of 12 months.

have you sold or a third party provider, implemented guarantee the day the laptop leaves the Lenovo, if you obtained from a third-party provider use your receipt to reset the date of warranty. Call Lenovo support number and tell them that you need to reset the date, by facsimile to your Bill.

  • I want to buy an iPhone that is from the United Kingdom, but I live in Lithuania - guaranteed?

Hello, I had the opportunity to buy a new iPhone from Apple 6 from a person, but I live in Lithuania and that the phone is from the United Kingdom. How would it be with the guarantees? He said "guarantee international Apple from the moment wherever the phone is activated. I would be eligible to get the safeguards in Lithuania, or I will ship to UK and etc. ? Because I'm unwilling to do that, only in my country.

The person trying to sell you a bill of goods. There is no international guarantee on iPhones, and you can even ship directly to Apple. It was probably stolen. Stay away from this person... don't believe what they say.

  • When it will be available in the United Kingdom the Portege R705?

I really want a R705 and cannot decide whether to wait patiently until it is available here in the United Kingdom or buy it on a trip to the United States. How long does normally for a new model to be available in Europe when it was released in the United States?

You have the same steps, in this case R705, United Kingdom but she will probably be R700.
As far as I know that all laptops available in the United Kingdom should appear on the page of Toshiba UK where you can find very precise specifications for each model available.

Be careful with laptops and check how it works now with warranty. As far as I know Toshiba has changed something with the international guarantee.

  • Repairs under warranty in the United Kingdom

I bought a Toshiba M305D-S4830 in the United States, with limited international warranty Standard (1 year). Currently, I am now in England.

My screen flashes (no fault of mine), and I'd like to get it fixed now, that my warranty expires in September this year. I looked at the authorized service providers in the United Kingdom which would fix a laptop with the International Service guarantee, and I contacted the closest to here where I live now. The repair shop said that it would cost 17 pounds to ship the laptop per trip (which is 34 pounds!) for the service.

(It is ridiculous, because when I was in the United States and had laptops from other brands, shipping was free, or I had to pay for Fedex shipping for only one way. My laptop at the time were bought in Malaysia and was under warranty international too in the United States).

In any case, I expect a cheaper method. If I send the deposit of Toshiba UK & Ireland, is it cheaper? Everybody here experience with repairs under warranty for this ASP and have knowledge about the costs of shipping?

    Hello

Of course, there is difference between Americans and Europeans of the rules. To be honest, I think these rules also depending on the country and may not be the same for all European countries.
Have you tried to contact other SPAS in the United Kingdom? Just to see if there is some difference.

My portable German model was repaired this year in Croatia (holiday).
After 10 days I went laptop repaired.
Service was not so far in my case and I brought here alone.
Maybe you can do the same. The key is that your laptop will be repaired.

  • where the United Kingdom repair center

My 6s broke after 4 weeks, and Apple repair under warranty process *-especially since it is your phone that broke so can't take/make calls!

Anyway, it's been stuck in transit UPS for 5 days - and has arrived in the Netherlands!  Make Apple have repair centers in the United Kingdom or should it go to the Netherlands?

When I talked to the cat live Apple - they seemed surprised that a UK phone went to the Netherlands, but he wouldn't do anything about it.

Sorry, but we are all users here, just like you and Apple only knows more about their delivery or repair network global hubs. Since you bought your device in the EU and that it guaranteed for your device is valid in all Member States of the EU, it would be not unusual that an iPhone must cross borders to get to the right place.

Ditto for the purchase of an iPhone. For example, if you order online in the United Kingdom, they could deliver your object of Prag.

Sorry, there is nothing you can do about it, just wait until he comes back.

  • Litigation of the CPU to the United Kingdom

Hi all, I have a HP Pavilion tx2000 bought a few years ago on a trip to Malaysia. The computer worked fine, as do about all the Hp products never bought until August 2010 when he simply refuses to start properly, no display just a light dim on the screen with the casual effort, but nothing... Having been out of warranty, I asked the experts to take a look at tyold and they me it was part of the contentious problem of CPU and I have to contact HP. I did enter my serial number and all the information they asked... She came back on the site of HP because she is yet guaranteed and they'd contact me... They did, saying: Sorry, that your computer is no longer in warranty... OK, so I answer not mention litigation of the CPU and my laptop containing the chipset which is part of the ventilation issues as repair center suggested... and guess what? No new response from HP... Great! So where should I go from here? It's bin, lose faith in HP or y at - it someone somewhere who can point me in the right direction in getting it fixed please? Seems like a resident of the United Kingdom, we do not have the same rights as American citizens that our money is the same when it comes to profit...

All I want is a working laptop nothing more please lol...

    Thank you in advance.

Unfortunately this model is not covered under the regulations, only the TX1000

This is a very reputable company that can repair most video issues on this model at a reasonable price also, send them an email describing your problem and the model of the laptop, see what they say.

  • Why has the United Kingdom iPhone7 still logos FCC and how to make one with them?

Yesterday I went to the Apple Store to check new iPhone 7/more to those who are disappointed that the FCC, CE logos & ID are always present. Why this has not changed since September of 2015 when the iPhone 6s logos have been deleted in other countries like the United States and Canada ect? I thought that maybe it would be at least one year so that it can enter into force here in the United Kingdom, but no such thing happened. In this spirit and the fact that Apple aren't clearly on this subject, we know how to get potentially an iPhone 7 more in the United Kingdom without these of these annoyances?

If you're referring specifically for models with screen, those who are not necessarily indicative of what will be the markings on the new phones purchased it. These are demonstration devices that have been specifically configured as such and shipped to stores, very probably the United States. Keep an eye on someone buying a new phone in the store and take a look at the back. That will tell you what you'll see.

If you are not satisfied, there is no point complaining here. We are not Apple. This is a user forum.

    Hello

Just to let you know, it is a user to user community. You do not directly communicate with Apple here, so no one can say if or when Apple may have available in your area News widget, but what you can do is to provide feedback to Apple > http://www.apple.com/feedback/iphone.html

  • My iPhone purchased USA will work in the United Kingdom?

I'm visiting the United States in a few weeks and I'm looking to buy an iPhone 7 so I'm here, right in saying that it is unlocked, it will work perfectly once I am back in the United Kingdom with my UK SIM card?

    Hello bigbigdan1000,

Thank you for using communities of Apple Support.

I understand your message you will buy an iPhone Unlocked 7 while in the United States and want to know if there is work, when you return to the United Kingdom. You will need to buy the T-Mobile or AT & T version of the iPhone in the United States, a GSM model, so he could work in the United Kingdom. Additionally, make sure that you buy the version without SIM card, you are free to use a SIM card from any carrier that provides service for iPhone.

  • I am Kuwait qnd want to send an iphone 6 s to my dqughter to the United Kingdom

    Hi good evening dear friends.

I am an Indian national and resident at the Kuwait.

You want to buy and send an iphone 6 s to my daughter in the United Kingdom.

Is it possible for me to purchase with my credit card of the Kuwait.

Thks for your time. Best regards.

Is your daughter permanently or temporarily to the United Kingdom?  I request, because that could make a difference on where and how the iPhone gets repaired if necessary or what Apple support may be available.  If I understand it, Apple is committed, only iPhones in the country, the iPhone service is purchased.  If so, which could prove heavy.  In addition, some features (such as FaceTime) not available with iPhones purchased in some countries (I think that the Kuwait is one - but not positive).

One recommendation to consider is buying a gift card from Apple for the iPhone, send it to your daughter and let her buy the iPhone in the United Kingdom.  Just a thought.
