  Hi people...

  I just create a path with the pen (arrow) tool, but I found when I select a path, select the pen tool and move the mouse on the path to add a point, but the pen tool does not detect the underlying path, and the cursor does not change the pointer with the sign «+» If I click, it will start a new path.

  Your memory is faulty. Pen has never worked on shape layers runs only on a mask. That's why's called it the tool feather mask.

  I am very precise when I draw, and Illustrator seems to be positioning my points a little bit off where I point them to be.   The problem was the Google Chrome browser!  As soon as I left my pen tool Chrome has started working again.  Didn't even need to restart Fireworks.  I wonder if this is a conflict with one of my plugins/Add-ons.  More likely.

  Updated - I reduce it to a specific to Google Chrome extension.  It was 'Google Play Music'
