  Bad method.  Delete this account, download and install the Outlook Connectorand configure your MSN.com account with it.  Outlook requires the connector Outlook to work with Hotmail/MSN/Live email accounts.

• I was completely locked out of my msn e-mail account

  I have vista and would prefer to use outlook express, but can't because I have vista, and then they can't stand not msn/hotmail.  I don't like the way I view msn via hotmail.  So, vista windows mail.  Same thing.  Help!  I want to see/use of email such as outlook.

  According to the description, I understand that you are unable to send and receive emails and receive an error message.

  The usual reason for that error is to have an unsent message stuck in the Outbox.

  There are two weeks, that I converted from MSN mail in MSN Live Mail.  And even if my daughter does not establish a direct mail account msn she was able to receive his mail through his iphone and its macbook pro using his old address msn.  However, Sunday (04/12/11), she could not access her mail. She received the message on his iphone that says error "username or password is incorrect".  On his computer, she received the error message "windows Live ID does not exist."   Establish us his username and a new password for msn live mail and it seemed to work (no error message), but when we went to connection we got an error message saying: username or password is incorrect.  My wife is currently able to access his mail through his old MSN e-mail account even if it is not a live MSN mail account.  Little help would be greatly appreciated, thank you.
