  I'm running out of ideas on how repair this laptop so I thought I would ask here. Like so many other people with these portable mine seemed to go right after my warranty expires. I went to power on one day and he presented that a directed graph code error with a black screen. Instead of trying to fix the original slide myself I thought it would be best to just replace it. After the new Board of Directors came and I reassembled it all has been great to work for a few days. I went to power on one morning and he presented the same graphics code error as before. I then reset and tried again, but this time that he gave me the CPU error instead, after 15 seconds or later he would begin to switch between error a CPU and graphics. I assumed that the jury who sent was defective, so I sent a replacement. Once the replacement card has been installed it would always give me the same errors, sometimes it would be the graphics and other CPU.

  I was told the jury that I sent worked great and replacement has been tested before it was sent, it even came with the results of the tests to check. I tried to replace the CPU and memory with a work known and same notebook AC adapter, which does not seem to help.

  If anyone has any idea as to what could be the problem I would be acknowledging the entry.

  I want to just update to anyone who seems to have the same problems as me.

  I finally had time to replace the CPU and specifications works fine now. It seems the controller memory on the old CPU came out and was causing memory to not be detected properly and causing graphic errors. Before you spend money on a new motherboard, you may want to consider the processor as the problem.

  Now if only I can figure out how to keep it from cooking itself...

  I had any other problems with it. At least once a day, it crashes. It crashes even on mozilla.com with no other open tabs. Sites are slow. Much slower than they should be. Google takes a good minute to 2 minutes to load. It's a roll of the dice for me if I have any bookmarks when I load firefox.

  There could be a problem in your Firefox profile. For example, one of your modules may cause the problem. If you're ready to try some troubleshooting, you could test in Firefox Safe Mode, which temporarily disables your add-ons.

  We got a new C20 with a nvidia NVS 450 card - and a $ monitor. The C20 has Windows 7 preinstalled; the out-of-the-box resolution is 640 x 480 and we couldn't make it go higher than that! The $ and the video card are connected via the DisplayPort cable that came with the unit. After you have reinstalled the video card driver that comes with the unit (on a CD containing drivers for Windows and Linux), we could never get to go beyond 640 x 480 resolution. We left thinking that it must be a quirk with Windows 7. We were going to install Linux on the C20 anyway, so we moved on this.

  We installed Fedora 14 (64-bit) install the video driver nvidia who was on the CD and cannot get the display resolution greater than 640 x 480. After a few days of tests n errors referring to various online forums, we have successful get resolution up to 800 x 600, but not the expected 1900 - something resolution the $ and video card holders.

  Someone at - he had problems with getting the resolution of the video card to work? If so, were you able to solve the problem? We thought we would start here instead to call Lenovo support first, because usually technical questions, we get smarter than over-the-phone responses.   I had the chance to get their hands on another monitor, and when I plugged that, I got the full resolution. After a lot of testing, I decided that it was a faulty monitor and it had nothing to do with the video card. I finally got a replacement screen for the one who wasn't giving me the full resolution.

  Subsequently, I went ahead and got the latest drivers nvidia on their Web site. Everything works fine now.

It was ealier configured as cluster DRS/HA, with this swap file setting must be different (store swapfile in the location defined by the ESX host) on the data store. And each host is defined in different way :/ We have the configuration option to store this file on the shared data store, second only to configure anything, third takes place on their local disks and I am confused.   I looked at the article and I don't know what is the best way to get around this. All virtual machines are set to expose the nx flag to the operating system.  Is it recommended to do CPU bit masking or Enhanced vMotion on the cluster? Enhanced VMotion is disabled on the cluster and cannot be enabled because there is an original 4 guest that any material error is incompatible. I started the new server with the CPUID tool and its Support SSE's SSE4 NX/ED is enabled and supports 64-bit. What could be some possible reasons why other hosts are displayed as incompatible materials? Both processors are listed as being supported for vMotion strengthened on the compatibility table, I spoke with the support and they recommended the creation of a new cluster and enabling enhanced vMotion or turn off the VM and activating on current cluster but all hosts should be considered to be compatible.  We are on ESX 3.5 Update 3

  What would be the best way to work around this problem without a major outage?

  We had this server gave to us and I'm trying to get it ready to use. (fairly recent with servers)

  It came with (1) CPU and 2 GB of Ram and it runs well. The BIOS reported this CPU as an AMD Opteron 2212. I wanted to add a 2nd CPU and found some refurbished. They have been described as 2nd generation of Opteron 2212 OSP2214GAA6CQ.

  When I have one installed and rebooted the system, I get the message "this system supports only the Opteron F3 or later processors. Is there a setting in BIOS that I need to change.

  Any help will be greatly appreciated

  Processor you listed isn't an update F2 and F3, this is why it does not work. You need part number OSA2212GAA6CX or OSA2212CXWOF.
