• My new game Halo2. Problems with the installation. Windows live rejects my product code

  • My game of Halo2, when it is installed on my windows 7 has trouble with windows live operating system... it rejects the code produce, what should I do? He says it's an invalid code... I checked with ms is a valid code.

Although she was told to go here... and here I am asking for help or I have to return the product to the store.

  I was able to play halo 2 for Windows Vista online without any problems, but two days ago, that I was not able to connect to live. I get an error 0 x 80151909. I disabled the firewall and antivirus and that did not help. I have a network and internet connectivity. But for some reason some can't connect to live. Is anyway to check if the servers are down?   Thank you for posting.  I studied this question and it is firewall partner.  Some have solved the problem by defining it firewall 'Allow all' and others have had success after connecting directly to the modem and without going through the router.  To better help you, I need to know the network configuration, you have to solve the problem.

  Hi, I got downloaded halo 2 for windows vista, but when I go there to play it comes up with, "live gaming on windows initialization failed, maybe it's because an another live gaming application on windows (such as halo 2 dedicated server) runs on the same machine, otherwise reinstall the game can solve the problem" I reinstalled at least 5 times and as not worked I also made sure that the game halo 2 is the only program running. It is extremely annoying. Please help me fix.

  As it says in the wire by Debra, you must try the update of halo 2 and make sure that your firewall is not blocking halo 2 internet access.

  If none of those who work, it could be an underlying cause, like the actual CD you install halo 2 with being corrupt. If this is the case, you should find an .iso of the halo 2 CD and install from there.

• Halo 2 missing .dll files

  I am trying to run Halo 2 on my new PC. Operating system is windows 7 ultimate n 64-bit. The game installs properly and is registered. When I start the game it says the the mf.dll and mfplat.dllfiles are absent. I downloaded both of dll.com and install in my system 32 file and file of halo 2. The message that I get now, it is that a specific command is missing from the file mfplat.dll.

  My system is an AMD Athlon II X 3 435 2.9 G on an ASUS motherboard with 4 GB mushkin ram and a 1 TB hard drive. I don't know where to go next, and any help would be appreciated.

• Cannot install Halo 2 on Windows 7. Message: redists\vcredist.msi: not available

  When I try to install Halo2 I get the message "the installation source for this product is not available. Verify that the source exists and that you can access. Above this is the redists\vcredist.msi file:

  I tried to install the updates to Halo2 and that did nothing. I had no problem with the installation of Halo: Combat evolved. Don't understand why I can't install this.

• LIVE gaming on Windows failed to initialize.

  My son just bought Halo 2, he worked hard to earn the money to buy this game, and now he can't play. I had this error and have spent a lot of time trying to make it work. I was wondering if there is a final solution to the error. I have been games on computers for years and have never had such a hard time with a game. I think that Microsoft would have received some kind of fix in now since 2007. I am very disappointed! This kid has worked hard for it and got nothing for its efforts but a butt game disc! When Microsoft starts back up what they are selling? Read all messages for this error me steam, it's a shame to let your customers suffer trying to do your job! Knowing that after opening a box of software most of the retailers won't bring back seems not to bother Microsoft, after all, you've got your money, who cares if the software works!

  Found this in another post.  It works for me.  Although I did a lot of other things before hand that may have contributed.

  Load the latest version of games for Windows Live Client. Before loading the game launch Halo 2 Live and sign. Then start Halo2. The game should work fine. This is a problem with Halo 2 is not able to start the Client to live properly on Windows 7/Vista.

  Hello. I've seen a post like this, but it did not help, so I ask you once again.

  I have a problem with halo 2 vista where, after rebooting my computer, the game is no longer appears in the part 'Games' of the taskbar, and when I go to where halo 2 is installed (D:\Halo2, in this case), all the files say that I don't have permission to access. Yes, I tried "Run as Administrator". It did not help. Whenever I click on the play button on the startup of the disc program, it says "cannot start the application selected, you are not authorized to access this file. Yes, reinstall fixes the problem, but when I reboot it comes back, and I don't want to reinstall too many times because I haven't heard halo 2 has a limit of installation. What should I do?
