Hard drive upgraded and you want to create a partition like HP for recovery

I have improved my 250HD to a 750HD. To change this, I lost the HP supplied Recovery partition. How can I create something similar to how HP placed on the original hard drive? Is there away or solution to this?

Thank you

Anthony

Well Yes, that's all... Looks like you had Windows vista to use preinstalled on this laptop...

So if you want the recovery partition that comes with the laptop, you'll need HP Recovery disk, which you have to do when you get the laptop...

If you use Windows 7, try the steps on this link... http://h30434.www3.HP.com/T5/notebook-operating-systems-and/custom-recovery-options/m-p/329260#M45230
