hard set static ip on wrt160n

Hi, I tried my new cisco wrt160n router, but when I save the following, I have a message "LAN and the wan ip address are the same. Please check again! ", I get confused. My wrt120n have the same configuration and I don't have this message when e record.

If you want to use the WRT as simple access point, leave the type of internet connection on automatic/DHCP, disable the DHCP server and a LAN port thread to the main router LAN port.

There is no purpose other thing put on the internet connection that you do not use the internet port anyway.

    Re: C4599, error-print wireless unable to "communicate" with the device?

    Of course, we can set a static IP address (actually, we will reserve an IP address - even better).  But first, please indicate the post helped you to solve the problem as "acceptable Solution".

    To connect to the wireless router by typing the IP address of the router wireless in the field the address of your browser, then click on enter. 192.168.1.1 is the default IP of the wireless router. The wireless router prompts you for the user name "admin" and the password. The default password is "password".

    See the procedure on page 8-16 of this <> http://h30434.www3.hp.com/t5/forums/replypage/board-id/Networking/message-id/NetGear%20 "RangeMax" % 20... > document to the reserve and the IP address of your printer.
    You will need the MAC address of your printer (it is on the Page of Config network you have printed from the front panel of the printer).

    (Although I am employed by HP, I speak for myself and not for the HP)
    Original posters - please state the position that solved your problem as "acceptable Solution".

    You could, but my point is that another device must have issued the 192.168.0.X.  What was it?

    You could get the MAC address of the printer and set a static IP address (192.168.1.X - make sure that X is outside the DHCP range) for it in the router and see if it connects.

    I'm sure something is happening here, though.

  • Can you hard set the MTU on VCS?

    According to the title, it is possible to hard set the MTU on a VCS-C/VCS-E?  I know that you can activate RFC4821, but I don't know if I can get a hard deadline...

    Do you see any issue the MTU? Signage, media,...?

    I want to say I don't expect VCS re RTP package in any case if the receiver MTU is larger, then the shipment,

    (never tried well) so you should drop on your customers in any case.

    MXP endpoint points, you could set the packet size RTP, on the endpoints TC that I only know about a generic MTU

  • How to set static IP on Verizon iPad data Plan?

    Hello

    We strive to set up a static IP address on several iPads so they can access a secure on a Verizon data plan Web site. I watched all the videos and went through all the directions I can google and I'm still without a solution. For each solution, in my opinion, it is said to go into the settings > cellular/cell data > cellular data network and click the APN tab to add the information. There is no option cellular data on any of our Verizon data devices.

    I called Verizon and Apple support to see how to get this option appears and it was transferred blame game back two hours. In the end, I was told that we need to create a profile of AFN via Apple Configurator 2 or AirWatch. I tried to create the two and to my knowledge, neither work. Or I do not know where the APN tab appears with the profile of the AFN. The only information provided to AFN by Verizon is "MW01. VZWSTATIC ". The ipads are on iOS 9.2.1.

    So here's what I have for our profile Apple Configurator 2 APN.

    If anyone has had this problem before and knows a solution you'd make my year!

    Thank you!

  • Setting up IP static to some Ports on the router.

    On a v4.3 can BEFSR41 I configure static IP for specific to the rear ports.  For example, Port 1 (at the back of the router) = 192.168.100.20, Port 2 = 192.168.100.21, etc..  I don't want to set static IP on the PC connect, but I want to know that the PC at channel 1 is 192.168.100.20.  Computers can be changed often then it may be easier to force an IP address to the computer to the router and leave the set PC to DHCP.  I hope someone understands what I'm asking.  Thank you.

    On your router, you cannot assign a static/fixed IP for a specific port, static ip must be assigned on your PC...

  • Issue of pen pressure setting hardness becomes Trac

    Hi, im new to this community and I hope I'm doing this right. I did some research in the community and tried a solution, but nothing helped.

    My problem: in a couple months back, it worked perfectly, until suddenly the hardness setting is no longer just for wacom pen pressure, but it works perfectly for my mouse. the hardness to 0%, it works well, hardness to 50%, we begin to see a jig up to 100%

    jitter happens when I use the pen (brush from the window of the brush image becomes jitter). But when a click with the mouse, it works without problems (and the image on the modification of the Toolbox to a normal brush with hardness)

    using photoshop cs6

    I have zero tool brushes

    I checked im using the tool brush, not the pencil tool

    at first, that I have my wacom is dying, but tested on my laptop, it works fine

    reinstalled cs6 and its still the same, I suspect some places I have accidentally trigger or something...

    Thank you.

  • How to set a static IP every time, I create a clone bound to a virtual machine?

    Hello

    I'm pretty new to Lab manager 4.0. We have a configuration where our virtual machine can use a static IP. So we set static IP pool. Is there a way by which I can force IP customization every time I create a clone bound a model or configuration?

    I tried to look at the Vmware tools and I know that the Tools Customize VM in configuration first time it is deployed. But can anyone help me with how Vmware tools Gets the available pool of IP static IP address?

    When you clone a model or a configuration via the menu item 'Clone...', Lab Manager creates an exact replica of the original. The clones will have the same IP address and MAC address as the original one. This, in fact, is the exact purpose of cloning.

    If you want to give a new IP/MAC clone, you must do this each time that you create a clone:

    1. go to the properties of the virtual machine

    2 remove all existing network interfaces

    3. Add new network interfaces using the button 'Add Interface'

    4. press on "Update".

    5. deployment of this virtual machine will be automatically re - customize its IP addresses

    Why would you force the customization of the comments for the clones? Why not convert your source VM in a model and create machines virtual configuration of him? Virtual computers configuration created from the templates download automatically assigned IP pool IPs that you have defined.

  • Migrate server DHCP static leases

    Hello

    We currently use an old Mac Pro as a DHCP server, use the latest version of server of El Capitan. Now, we want to copy all the static DHCP leases we have implemented (approximately 120 static leases), so that we can put them on another Mac mini, this time takes up half of the leases for a different subnet.

    I know that the DHCP leases, temporary positions, are saved in a file that you can delete to erase the leases, but I have not found where static leases are saved. I know that you can change in the Directory Manager application, but I need to export them somehow, so that we can easily migrate. A Time Machine backup is not an option.

    Thanks in advance!

    See you soon

    Apple's DHCP server configuration file is /etc/bootpd.plist

    The file you're looking for is/etc/bootptab , but it is also possible to set static IP cards in Open Directory itself in the computerssection. If a card is defined in/etc/bootptab it takes precedence over the setting in the Open Directory.

    You can perform the following operations in Terminal.app to get more information

    Man bootpd

    bootptab man

    The file that contains the list of active leases is/var/db/dhcpd_leases

    It's a little ironic that Apple uses the name dhcpd_leases dhcpd is a different program from the competing DHCP server to the bootpd use of Apple program. Bootpd Apple is highly personalized on the original version of the open source to add for example the NetBoot support.

  • HP DV6-3140SE hard drive upgrade

    Hello

    I want to replace my drive hard set from factory to a new hard drive to 500 GB. Are the new 7mm discs compatible with my laptop? Help, please!

    Maintenance & service Guide for your laptop.

    Hard drives

    Supports of 6.35 cm (2.5 in) hard drives (HD), 12.7 mm (. 50-in) and the thickness of 9,5 mm (. 37 - in)

    The problem you have is the caddy, then I suggest to stick to the standard 12.7 mm and 9.5 until new caddies are available. Here's an article on the same topic. I just took a look at the cradle and the second hard drive on my HP Envy17-3002ea product loan. The tiny screws that are supposed to hold the hard drive for the current caddy will actually be a problem. I have to say that currently it would cause a problem with the adjustment of the hard drive to the connector on the laptop DATA\power sata.

  • C310a how you manually set an IP address?

    Hey all.

    Just got a new HP Photosmart Premium C310a and I try to implement on my home network (Verizon FIOS, Apple knots, Alesus, hard set IP Access Points). Alas, it only comes with WiFi.

    So, I did the following:

    * Add printers to the access point MAC address I don't want to connect to.

    * Installed all the different Macintosh drivers/software.

    * Launch the WiFi set in place.

    At this point, according to the HP Network Configuration Page, I'm just happy and connected, but after everything, I'm not connected. Because I run NO DHCP, I guess that 'auto' printers configuring seeks IP info. So, I go to the façade printers and access tools - network - IP Settings. Unfortunately, no matter what I do, it always remains in automatic mode and does not have information IP to go.

    How the heck to I disable the automatic IP settings and manually enter my IP Info?

    Any help would be appreciated!

    Thanks in advance

    root of CP

    You may need to enable DHCP temporarily get the printer on the network.  Then:

    -Print a the front of the printer Network Setup Page. Note the IP address of the printer.
    -Enter the IP address in a browser to reveal the internal settings of the printer.
    -Choose the network tab, then wireless along the left side, then on the IPv4 tab.
    -On this screen, you want to set a manual IP address. You must assign an IP address outside the range that the router sets automatically (called the DHCP range). If you know what it is, set an IP address outside this range but not exceeding 254 (the last number of the address). If you don't know it, enter the current IP address.
    -Apply the subnet 255.255.255.0 (unless you know it's different, if so, use it)
    -Let the gateway and DNS white. Click 'apply '.

    Now, stop the router and printer, start the router, wait, and then start printing.

    You can now disable DHCP and be on your way!

  • How to set the background color in a scene?

    I'm new to JavaFX and just started my first program of FX.  I created a FX 7.3 NetBeans project and the project runs correctly.   All the samples in the JavaFX samples download work as well.  But when I try to do something as simple as the definition of the background on my first stage color to black, I can't make it work.  I find examples and documentation telling me that what I do should work, but it's not.

    Scene = new scene (root, 300, 250, Color.BLACK);

    scene.setFill (Color.BLACK);

    primaryStage.initStyle (StageStyle.UNDECORATED);

    primaryStage.setTitle ("Hello World!");

    primaryStage.setScene (scene);

    The two lines "BOLD" are marked as errors.  Unfortunately, I can't find a way to copy the error popup text in the IDE, so I'll summarize.  The two lines are errors that say that I gave a color but paint was expected.

    Is there something that I am missing? Can it be this hard set a background color in JavaFX?

    Thank you.

    Hello. Choose your imports. You probably

    import java.awt.Color;

    Instead of

    import javafx.scene.paint.Color;
