You have, or have poorly cleaned after a malware infection.
Download and install Malwarebytes Anti-Malware - put update and then run a full system scan and delete everything it finds.

If you have problems running it, then you have a serious infection - and would be better poster on a forum of specialists malware such aswww.bleepincomputer.com or www.aumha.net for assistance.

  • Windows Vista Home Premium - problem "task manager has been disabled by your administrator".

    Nice day

I had problems with my task manager (I use the operating system "Windows Vista Home Premium"). Evertime I try to access the program, he returns with "task manager has been disabled by your administrator". I used different tools to remove malware and got rid of a lot of problems but still can not in Task Manager.

I created a new user with administrator account and logged on it and had no problem until my 'Task Manager' program open, but when I went back to my origional administrator account the same problem occurred.

Why can I get to "Task Manager" in my new account administrator and not the former?
I still have malware in the old account or do I go into my registry and restore something?

I am at a loss, and any help would be appreciated. I'm worried that I can always have some kind of malware that prevents me to access my task manager in my old account.

Please give step by step instructions because I am not computer savvy computer even when it comes to fixing the problems of this kind.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi Nigel,

    1. Since when are you facing the issue?

2 have you logged on a domain?

    3. do you have a security program installed on the computer?

4 did you a recent software or changes to the material on the computer?

    Method 1:

I suggest you to run a full scan using the Microsoft Safety Scanner and check.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: there is a risk of data loss if all the files are infected and which can be removed in the cleaning process.

    Method 2:

If the problem persists, you can start the computer in safe mode and perform a clean boot.

    Step 1:

Start your computer in safe mode

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows7/start-your-computer-in-safe-mode

    Step 2:

This could happen if one of the substantive programmes is in conflict with the proper functioning of your computer. To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

  • registry editing has been disabled by your administrator

When I try to change my registry, I get this message "registry editing has been disabled by your administrator".

How can I solve this problem? Thank you very much!

    Hello

The computer is connected to a domain or network?

This type of problem occurs generally when the administrator restricts other users to make changes to the registry. To remove it, you need to modify group policy and for that you must have administrator privileges.

Group Policy settings can be performed only on Windows 7 Ultimate, professional Edition and Enterprise Edition.

Try the following steps if you have administrator privileges and the editions are:

    a. click Start, type change a political group in the search box and press enter.

    b. open the Group Policy Editor.

    c. go to Configuration / Administrative Templates/System user .

    d. see the strategy, prevent access to registry editing tools.

If the computer is connected to a domain, it would be best to contact the domain administrator for assistance.

    Hope the information is useful.

  • States of task manager of Windows 7 disabled by your administrator

I'm seeing the ongoing process with the Task Manager. When I click to do this, the program addresses the task manager has been disabled by your administrator. I have the version Home premium to Windows 7. Pleas Help.

Do you have, you save the file with a .reg (you so by selecting 'Save as type' to save it under car) If you have not you might end up with a file called EnableTaskManager.reg.txt which is a double file extension and not what you want.  These instructions are valid for the notebook that might be easier to use, but I guess that Word in Works has similar functions.

Right click on the saved .reg file and select "Merge" If you do not see this option, it probably means that you have saved the file with the incorrect file extension type.  You will need to be an administrator as 'Fusion' in the registry.

You may need to uncheck 'Hide known file types' in Control Panel / folder Options / view to see file extensions.

"Reboot" means stop and restart the computer.  This is necessary for changes to the register of loading and working.  You must also create a system restore point before plugging anything in the registry as a precaution.

  • When I turn on my computer, I get a bubble in the lower right of the desktop that says: "a program has been blocked from editing your search default setting". Then "click to change your notification settings."

Whenever I turn on my computer I have a bubble in the lower right corner of the desktop that says: 'Search Settings Notification' then 'program has been blocked from modifying your search default setting". Then "click to change your notification settings."
When I click I get a box called Toolbar Options. Tab shows the search parameters. Statement: "search settings protects your search settings of the browser to keep the programs change without your knowledge." I am then presented with 2 boxes checked with the following instructions: 1. protect my browser default search and let know me of any attempt to change it.  2. enable the browser error Network Wizard page.  Downstairs, the options are either save or cancel.
My question is what does all this mean? Should I uncheck boxes or both? How can I avoid this message occurs ever time I turn on PC?
I must tell you that my browser is Mozilla Firefox.
    Thank you.

    Hello

I would check the first box for sure, the second is not as important but probably a good idea to choose from as well. Once you save it, it should not appear again.

  • "'Monitor' program has been found running on your system -"

A "monitor" program has been found running on your system - please unload from memory "Please can someone explain how to do this." I am running Windows Vista Home Premium + SP2. Thank you.  "Silverfox".

The above message appears several times on my screen - what is it and how I unload it (sorry if assigned to the subject not listed)

    Silverfox salvation,

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

Leave your post, it seems that you have found an error, a "monitor" program has been found running on your system - please unload the memory on your computer screen.

    Quick questions:

    1. When exactly the error? Is - this random?
    2. Have you made changes on the computer before this problem?

You can try the following hotfixes and check if that helps get rid of the pop up.

    Method 1:

    Step 1:

Start the computer in safe mode and check the number.

Some options, including the mode safe mode, start Windows in a limited State, where only the essential is started. If a problem doesn't reappear when you start in safe mode, you can eliminate the default settings and basic device drivers and services as a possible cause.

Follow this link provided below to start your computer in safe mode.

    http://Windows.Microsoft.com/en-us/Windows-Vista/advanced-startup-options-including-safe-mode

    Step 2:

Put the computer to boot and check if the problem persists.

To help resolve the error and other messages, you can start Windows 7 by using a minimal set of drivers and startup programs. This type of boot is known as a "clean boot". A clean boot helps eliminate software conflicts.

How to troubleshoot a problem by performing a clean boot in Windows Vista or in Windows 7
    http://support.Microsoft.com/kb/929135

Note: After troubleshooting, be sure to set the computer to start as usual as mentioned in step 3 of the KB article provided above.

Method 2: I also suggest that you scan your computer with the Microsoft Security Scanner, which would help us to get rid of viruses, spyware and other malicious software.

The Microsoft Security Scanner is a downloadable security tool for free which allows analysis at the application and helps remove viruses, spyware and other malware. It works with your current antivirus software.

    http://www.Microsoft.com/security/scanner/en-us/default.aspx

Note: The Microsoft Safety Scanner ends 10 days after being downloaded. To restart a scan with the latest definitions of anti-malware, download and run the Microsoft Safety Scanner again.

Important: During the scan of the hard drive if bad sectors are found, the scanner tries to repair this sector, all available on which data may be lost.

    It will be useful.

Get back with the result of the steps suggested also if you need help on Windows let us know and we will be happy to help you.

  • Regedit problem, when I type regedit, I get an error "registry editing is disabled by your administrator".

Hi, my regidit does not work I have windows 7 and when I type regedit on the command line displays an error and it says "registry editing is disabled by your administrator". This is my own computer laptop im using

If you have a win 7 dvd, you can do a repair installation to go back to the original config.

  • "Task manager has been disabled by your administrator".

Now, I get this window when I hit Ctrl/alt/delete because I had a virus that messed with my settings. I am the administrator, but I don't know how to change it. Where is the access for task mgr?

    I see.

Do go ahead and back up your registry using the C:\WINDOWS\ERUNT program (from the link provided above) before you start.

If regedit is also disabled, then you first need to allow him to do so:

Click Start, run and enter the following text area (just copy and paste the command in the run window would be easier and safer):

    Tracking Add HKCU/v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0

Click OK and answer Yes, if you are prompted with a message of crash.

Then do it again with this command:

Click Start, run and enter the following text area (just copy and paste the command in the run window would be easier and safer):

    Tracking Add HKLM/v DisableRegistryTools /t REG_DWORD /d 0

Click OK and answer Yes, if you are prompted with a message of crash.

Now that the registry editor has been enabled, you can run the enableit.reg file to the other problems.

If MBAM won't work for your, boot your system using the safe mode with networking, update MBAM and see if MBAM will run in Mode without failure.  After that, start normally and restart MBAM, since it has some drivers that do not really work in Mode safe (but sometimes that's what you have to do).

  • Is "Web reported fake! This web page to the 69.73.182.154 has been reported as a false web and has been blocked based on your security preferences' legitimate?

Yesterday, my wife received an email from 'Unauthorized Communication on access' so-called [email protected], who requested that the attached document fill in name, address, SSN, DoB, ATM card and PIN, etc.
Thinking that it is legitimate that it fills in and clicking 'Continue', how the screen "Reported false Web!" appeared with the URL in the line of the previous question. When you click on "why has this blocked page" she took to Support Mozilla page titled how does integrated, phishing and Malware Protection works?
The reported fake Web legitimately from you message and was the content of the form she has blocked or destroyed, or is now at risk of identity theft? In other words, is the part of "reported Web fake" page of the author of the phishing scam, or is his information?

There is a good chance that the form was never sent (I don't know how the form was sent because I don't have the email address so I can't promise that it has not been sent) and so your information is secure, but you must always take steps to ensure that you protect your identity immediately , placer place notice of fraud on your credit and debit cards, change your passwords online, pine, etc. Remember that your bank will never e-mail you asking for your information, they have it all already, why do need to check? These emails are always scams.
