• Model DW: Put all the pages for the server AFTER a model has been modified?

  I am probably wishful thinking, but I'd love to see an extension that would put all THE pages updated by a model on the server with a click of a button.  If you have a web site with 50 pages that are based on a model, sometimes you have to manually choose the files to put on the server.  I think it must be something built into dreamweaver.  Anyone know anything like what I describe here?

  This problem has been caused by the HP Universal print driver. Please remove the existing device P2055 printer & printers. Click Server properties, and then remove the driver tab HP Universal print driver.

  Hi, all, and thanks for the previous help.  I use Captivate 5 and have managed to get some nice presentations in desire 2 learn.  However, I'll use quickly to the top of my allocated memory, and I'm looking for an alternative.

  Thanks to Amazon, I have 5 GB of free storage space.  What I'm considering is storing my presentations published it and just link to them through the LMS.  I can't get this to work, though.  I tried to put all the files (excerpts) in storage... and then I click on the swf file and a window opens but does not display anything.  Also, I tried to click on the file html and nothing.  Any ideas, or I think about it the wrong way?

  If Desire2Learn is compatible with the AICC standard, try to configure your Captivate course modules to use it instead of SCORM and see if it works.

I would like to have a button that, when clicked, selects a random page in this 50 and takes you there. I'm back and forward buttons that guide you through the pages one at a time, but a button randomizer would be really nice to have too.

  This site gives the button an id #... you also give the pages an id # and I would display them inside an iframe which (you guessed it) has its own id # and name

  Once you have numbers you can do a math behind the seens as x = (x + 1), if x = 9, then x = 1 to assign the id to choose a number between 1 and 9, and then you view this page inside the iframe... There is nothing random about these codes and people can continue to push the button until all options come back , but I have a question the idea that people want even a page randomly... its your design partner more power to you.

• FM11 creates blank pages on the book to refresh

  Hi guys,.

  I'm here fighting with FM11 very strange behavior.

  I have a (informal) book with several binary files of FM (structured).

  The first part of the book is the cover with a few pages of marquetry includes an auto generated by the TOC (excluding the references to the pages of beginning and end).

  This work must be completed and contains total, including the cover as the first item and the last book of 48 pages.

  Now the first component contains 3 pages and a double layout with the help of several auto set of master pages (I know there is a problem with the removal of the excess pages with no left-right MP).

  But it's not exactly my problem.

  The problem is when I try to update the book. There is a blank page being created in the first part of the book, which I got rid of in the first place.

  Which is not really a problem because I can manually delete this page (and it continues being deleted if I does not update anything).

  But the real issue is that the references are SUBSEQUENTLY updated, which means all page references in the book are a single page to come.

  This is unacceptable, because it spans all the references in the entire document, which are wrong because of this.

  Is it possible I can get FM does not create this excess blank page?

  I'm tight on the calendar and clean up the mess of my boss gave me this document, so quick responses are really appreciated.

  I finally found a solution to this. If I manually assign each component to start at a specific page (on the left in this case), I'm can FM does not create this white page after the 3 initial cover pages.

  While this works good for this project, I still think it's a bug. Reset of the user without notice or dialogue configurations cannot be expected behavior.

  It would be easy to do if your news page have been data-driven, which means that you have a database containing news items, and the news page simply creates a recordset to display news.  Then, you could do the homepage always draw on the latest issue of news from the database, display the first 150 words as a teaser and a link to the news page to learn more.  This would require access server database and scripts to accomplish.

  There is no way to accomplish such a thing in HTML pages, other than by your manual approach.

  Yes, there are ways to have all the pages to be updated when you make changes to a navigation bar.  However, the way you describe the situation you currently do it all manually.

  The easiest way to update a navigation bar:

  1. the use of serverside includes: this is a basic tutorial explaining what is a SSI and how it's done.

  The differences between the use of SSIs and DWTs (template file):

  With a SSI file, you make changes to the file and all the pages, the inclusion of which will update automatically and you need only download a SSI whenever you make a page.

• For the last week, I had problems on the Web pages in the browser look at a box itself (the box that actually shows the site), I can't click on anything anyone in the top thumb or inch - and a quarter. What does this, and how can this be repaired?

  This applies to all links and anything in this field unless it falls below, then I can click on it. The only thing that seems to get around it, is on a bar at the top of a Web search, I can click and type, but there is no text cursor.

  This problem occurs even when I scroll down, the same area of a Web site can be clicked, because of this problem.

  This does not affect the toolbars, bookmarks, etc..

  Recently, the Yahoo toolbar and the extension of Babylon have been reported because of this problem. They appear to overlap invisibly on the top of the display of the web page. You have both installed, uninstall or disable them / it or see if an update is available that solves the problem.

  Try Firefox SafeMode to see how it works there.
  
  A way of solving problems, which disables most of the modules.
  
  (If you use it, switch to the default theme).

  • You can open the Firefox 4, 5, 6, 7 SafeMode pressing the SHIFT key when you use the desktop Firefox or shortcut in the start menu.
  • Or use the Help menu option, click restart with the disabled... modules while Firefox is running.

  Do not choose anything at the moment, just use 'continue in safe mode.

  To exit safe mode of Firefox, simply close Firefox and wait a few seconds before using the shortcut of Firefox (without the Shift key) to open it again.

  If it's good in Firefox SafeMode, your problem is probably caused by an extension, and you need to understand that one.
