  • I was blocked from my windows live account. I'm back in and all my email; gonme is. Where do youn think it might be?

    I never had a problem with hotmail until now.  I've been blackened compromise possible secruity.  I was told my password has been cancelled and apply for another.  Unfortunately if necessary my old password submitted to receive a new.  When I finally found a way to recover by using the same address as before, but with a new password to my email that I had saved from the beginning had disappeared.  Where at - it go?  Insult to injury, I just received my first two emails from my windows live account.  One was a spammer, that's why I was told I have locked in a first time, and the other was microsoft answers thank me to register but don't sponsor not why my email is apparently sent to another address.  I said to visit the options I have.  Futile.  There must be a response and I believe that when I find what is wrong, it will be something simple but neglected.  Something like a breach in Protocol that we all followed which allows for compatibillity between competeing components so that the computer can work with cohesion and with little delay.  Kind of like internet explore works well with active x, but the msn does not work.  All ducks must be in a line, and I'm afraid m9ne maybe not.  I need a convenience store.  I sent an e-mail to a friend here in my living room, and she has not received it.  I had a friend in Detroit send me one yesterday he he not arive.  My other three email accounts work perfectly?  Weird.  If you have any ideas I could try, it will be greatly appreciated.  Thank you, Dusty

  • Trying to send the e-mail verification code is more associated with Windows Live account

    When I try to change my live billing on Windows information it says that it does not recognize my computer - wtf? - and attempts to send a confirmation code to my email address. However, the problem is I changed the email associated with my account and he's trying to send this code to my old email address. Ive changed my coordinates into my Windows Live account so that this old email is in no way associated with my account. The braniacs at microsoft customer support told me to post my question on this forum and client technical support technicians will help me as soon as POSSIBLE. If they were not lying to me then please PROVE ME WRONG AND help me FIX MY ACCOUNT!

    This forum has nothing to do with Microsoft, including XBox, Hotmail or Windows Live services.  It is filled by volunteers, not employees of Microsoft, and no one here can help you with your problem.  You need to use the resources of contact that you previously used to solve your problem.

  • Windows live mails in double - one of my accounts that I use on Windows Live Mail will receive twice the same email

    When I opened my laptop (always on), windows live mail will automatically connect and checks for new messages. I have 3 email accounts, but one of them receives the same e-mail twice. I contacted my ISP provider and was informed that the messages I get are only on the server once and that Windows Live Mail is the cause. I looked at the settings and therefore has a technician from my ISP and do not see why this is happening. Can anyone offer assistance.

    @Maksteel

    For beginners... Disable the following in the "Général" tab of Windows Live Mail (WLM) options

    1. to access the general tab--> WLM 2011/2012(Alt F O M) or WLM 2009 (Alt T O)

    -Send and receive messages at startup

    -Search for new messages every minute (s) ' x'

    2. make sure that the account receive duplicate emails is not configured to leave a message on the server (default of WLM is to "leave a message on the server)

    3. continue to use WLM by send and receive in manual mode, if no duplicates re-enable each item one time and repeat the test for the cause.

    If reconfiguration is not working... Post your question in the forum of answers from Microsoft Mail and make sure that you include the type of e-mail account (Pop3, IMAP, Http) with the double problem.  Note: If IMAP double-check your configuration in your web account interface. FYI... recommended are the WLM versions for each operating system: XP (2009), Vista (2011), Windows 7/Windows 8 (2012)

  • Scam: there's a scam email autour, supposed to come from a "Windows Live Account"

    I wanted to just warn you that there is a scam email autour, supposed to come from a "Windows Live Account" saying that your about to be closed if you do not provide account details [name of user, password, date of birth, etc.] so that your account can be "improved." The email is poorly written [bad grammar, etc.], but lists the corporate name of Microsoft and the address at the bottom.

    I received an email saying "in the framework of doing business globally, Adobe monitor Exchange rates to our price adjustments upwards or downwards according to the needs. You may be aware that exchange rates fluctuated significantly over the past years. Because of recent changes in exchange rates in your area, Adobe raises the price of goods and services as of May 1, 2016. Learn more › As an Adobe Creative cloud for the Subscriber of education, your price will not be touched during your current subscription period. The new rate will be $28.99 per month. »

    I want to know is how you can increase payments to 100% and claiming exchange rates as reason. What between AUD and USD exchange rate has changed to 100%?

    Also, I think that the AUD will be at parity with USD in 9 months so that means you will then adjust my payments down?

    Hi Adam,.

    It seems that most of that would be due at the end of the first year of the promotional prices (initiation) for education customers.

    As for the rest, if you read this related Forum thread, it should give you a better idea on how & why happen currency-related price changes.

    Hope that helps.
