Hasselblad H6D

Hello

I've just spent a Hasselblad H5D - 50 c - H6D - 50 ºC and Lightroom does not seem to support the new camera. Y at - it a plug-in available?

I have worked very happily with Lightroom as my capture and processing software and prefer to continue with her

Nobody knows, except for Adobe, and they never announce in advance.

I recently received a Hasselblad digital back (Hasselblad H5D - 50 ° c). And while this return is listed as a camera compatible and must be supported from digital camera Raw Compatibility Update 6.04, .fff files leads to constant of the two crashes the Photos app and opening. Return to library archived (before the import of files Hasselblad) solves the problem.

Can anyone confirm that Hasselblad H5D - 50 c files are not compatible or has any who worked successfully with them in Photos (or opening)?

    Thank you.

Have you tested, if only the Hasselblad photos are at the origin of the crash by the import in an empty photo library?

You could also test in another user account, to exclude the possibility that old files in your user account preferences our causing the problem.

I saw no reports on the Hasselblad in these forums.

But for RAW problems with other devices, it helped to reinstall the RAW support for the camera.

If the problem was actually caused by the recent RAW update, it should help to go back to the latest version of RAW support has worked for you, but which requires to remove the files of the library system.

Search for the latest versions of RAW Support to Apple - Support - downloads

For example, Digital Camera RAW Compatibility 6.04

    To reinstall:

Make a backup of your system and try to downgrade the FIRST supported version of front-Yosemite.

To downgrade Support RAW to the latest version of the upgrade of Yosemite try this:

    • To reinstall the "RAW Compatibility Update", it is necessary to uninstall the currently installed raw support. Otherwise the Setup will say legitimately, that you have already installed the latest version.

The RAW support files are installed in the library system in the folder "/ System/Library/CoreServices" folder:

    • To open this file, use the Finder menu 'Go '. Click the smiling the Finder icon in the Dock to advance the Finder.
    • Then type the keyboard shortcut ⇧⌘G (for "Finder > go > go to folder") and copy and paste "/ System/Library/CoreServices" in the text field. Click on the button 'Go '.
    • In the Finder window that opens, delete the two files "RawCamera.bundle" and "RawCameraSupport.bundle". You will need to enter your administrator password. (do not empty the Recycle Bin, so you can put the files, if necessary)
    • Download the current RAW support update or an earlier version that supports the version of your camera from Apple's Support Site:

    Digital Camera RAW Compatibility 6.04

    Then, run the Setup program.

  • Using version 4 Lightroom Mac (version 4.4, Camera Raw 7.4) 3FR files (made by digital back for Hasselblad CFV50C)

I use Lightroom 4 (version 4.4, Camera Raw 7.4) in my Mac and found that my Lightroom cannot import 3FR files (made by Hasselblad digital back CFV50C). 3FR files are NOT supported by Lightroom version 4.4 (Camera Raw 7.4)? What should I do?

    Hi sc,

This unit is supported in Lightroom 5.

See devices supported by Adobe Camera Raw

You must upgrade to Lightroom 5 in the import command from the camera raw files.

Otherwise you can use the free DNG Converter to convert them to Dng, see Camera Raw: how to use Adobe DNG Converter - YouTube

  • CS5/ACR6.5 kills Hasselblad Flextight 3F support

Up to 6.4 ACR I was able to open some files-3F Hasselblad (Hasselblad/Imacon Flextight scanners .fff) with the help of the Plugin 3F Hasselblad directly in Photoshop.

Since 6.5 (also tried 6.6RC1) is no longer possible (an error message that ACR cannot open this file format.

I was able to get off ACR at 6.4 and now it works again.

I guess the problem is that ACR6.5/6.6 is trying to open this type of file instead of letting the plugin to do this.

    Any other suggestions?

Fact format Hasselblad (as facility by their plugin, not Camera Raw) appear as a separate line in the list of the formats indicated in the Photoshop File - Open as dialog?

If so, a workaround can be choose file - open as, then explicitly select the plugin format Hasselblad.

  • incompatible .fff Hasselblad and .3fr ACR 5.4rc loading

    Hi all

I am excited about Hasselbald support in ACR 5.4, I loaded the version Release candidate of labs.adobe.com.

Does anyone know if ACR 5.4 is supposed to support two hasselblad .fff and .3fr files (and for that matter, the two .fff presented by Flexcolor and those made by Phocus, because their internal format is different)?

I found that the support files for .fff is very mixed. Open some files (I'm opening "open in Camera Raw... ("in Bridge CS4), but many do not.

If you want the files of the example of those who do not, load to try the Hasselblad raw sample files on their own Web site.

    http://Hasselblad.co.uk/downloads/images.aspx

For me, none of these images seen in the bridge and none will open in ACR.

But I have some files from an H1D .fff who listen to excerpts and loading very well!

am I missing something, or is the file really uneven .fff support?

    Kind regards

    Alex.

    > Stupid idea of does NOT support 3fff files.

Regarding ".» FFF"files, essentially two completely different raw formats using this extension.  The '. '. FFF' raw files created by Phocus are completely different from those of the "." FFF"created by FlexColor.  Each of these two versions of ".". The FFF format"would require a significant amount of civil engineering by Adobe to support work.

In fact, if you look at the business case, the thing real "stupid" for Adobe to do is spend the time engineering to support * all * of the Hasselblad raw formats.  The share of average total market of their digital camera format is tiny and Hasselblad has only part of this tiny market. Thus the number of additional sales of Photoshop or Lightroom that Adobe can hope to do with the support of Hasselblad probably are less than 100 (maybe less than 10), which is not even close to pay for the necessary engineering.

Given the negative investment return, Adobe has resources for this project and the three different types of limited uses Hasselblad raw formats, we decided that supported the version recorded by the cameras themselves has been most useful.  If you are ready to use Hasselblad software on a computer to captive shot, or to convert format ".3FR" of one of the two types of ".". FFF format", you can only use this software to convert the files to". ". DNG format"and they works perfectly in existing Adobe software.

  • Other than the precision repair

My beloved RX1R Sony needs help.

I had 2 experiences with precision for repairs and was not at all happy with either (repair has not fix it-problems with cam continued after the repair, no information is available to me re: what repairs were made, terrible communication, etc..)

Is there any other authorized Sony repair centers - that do a great job and are very reputable, communicative and reliable?

    Thank you.

Their website says they do: "our technicians are also experienced in the repair of projectors of slides from Kodak, Polaroid cameras & SONY, Minolta, CASIO, Panasonic, Hasselblad products."

Try to give them a call.

Someone said that the 70-200 F2.8 IS not figure among the precedents of this cluster.  Improve the materials and technology, do you think that canon continues to make these current editions now in production the old-fashioned way, do not incorporate new technologies or improved methods and the results of the feedback and other experiences they have had since they first started to make this goal?  I suppose also that at some point, anyone who is the manufacturer, a lemon slipped through and out to the public, then just cross our fingers and hope we don't get one.  So far... so good!

Thank you very much.  What a great article. does anyone know if these types of changes came the 70-200 F2.8 IS not lens?   After 12 years of filming with my flash, I was told that the service would be is no longer included on 580 flashes due to the new models coming out and canon is more eager to manufacture parts for the old original.  Canon made a review on the original flash and it is like new but it made me think.  Thank you very much for your input and assistance-much appreciated. I have a hard time after the technical stuff, but that you referred me to the article was great.  I'll save it for reference, as well. I had nothing but good luck and excellent photos from canon.  the extra weight and the extra large it costs between the IS and IS was important at the time, and I'm happy with the model no IS.  I don't shoot too much money now, but really started by accident several years with a nikon to help a friend who worked in a dept food shoot a convention when the hired photographer did not show swithched mamiya 645 s and RB 67 s; then three complete systems of hasselblad for myself and a wizard and spare parts, then fuji pro S when digital came out, then canon and recently sold my 1Ds to buy the 5 d III to get the higher ISOs to take pictures at night on the race track even if I use the 85 mm F1.2. I am happy with the 5 d III and it is smaller and takes pictures that continue to amaze me.  photography has given me a lot of pleasure and for friends and family too, and canon has been a big part of that, so I stay with them and only buy their equipment.  Yes, there are others that are great gear and probably cheaper, but isn't it great that we can all choose our own path? Thanks again.

  • CC of Photoshop freezes so have to force quit constantly!

    Hello world

Use Photoshop on my Mac with Phocus for Hasselblad. Had no problem using Photoshop CS6, but since I use versions of Creative cloud my Mac crashes when you use PhotoshopCC. When go to force close window x OX, I see several open applications are unresponsive.

This happens about every 20 minutes.

I have to force quit all open applications and reboot, which means I lost the image I was currently working, frustrating isn't the first word that comes to mind!

Everyone is suffering from this problem?

    Help, please!

    Mark

You can try several things to get this working.

    Uncheck the display tab leaders

Uncheck the GPU in Photoshop preferences

In addition, you can try to reset preferences to default as well.

To re-create the Photoshop preferences files, start the application while pressing Ctrl + Alt + Shift (Windows) or command + Option + shift (Mac OS). Then, click Yes to the message, "Delete the Adobe Photoshop settings file?"

    Kind regards

  • Lightroom adjustment brush unusable / slow and erratic

I recently updated my version of Lightroom CC and when you use the (with and without overlay) Lightroom adjustment brush becomes incredibly slow or even unresponsive. Not only that, but it produces brush strokes I have never know I'll use the brush on a domain and then stop to wait and see before shots, I did fill, for what appear to be from 10 to 20 seconds on average, which in itself is quite unacceptable, and Lightroom then proceeds to do a big blow at random areas I never even flew over especially brushed in. So I'm going to clear this erroneous line randomly, the problem repeats itself in that it removes not only the error, but also a part of what I have completed only. Which was a montage of 5 minutes, senior, is now a test of long hours with mediocre results at best. So far, I tried to update the drivers, change the size of the cache, giving the Lightroom process a priority higher with so many reboots, I think my power button is about to fall. My computer has 32 GB of Ram, 5930K i7, EVGA GTX 980Ti, with m2 and Reg. SATAIII. SSDs running windows Pro 10. Many years of operation of older versions of Lightroom on an Early 2009 Mac Pro and MacBook Pro 2014 mi, I am more confident that I have enough resources in my machine to slam lightroom died several times in the course and of course when I check my task manager, I can see that lightroom scratches barely 10% on my CPU and at best he is gone up to 4.4 GB RAM date on which It was insensitive. As far as I can tell my computer does not have the heavy loads in one of its components it is nice and quiet.

Any help on this would be much appreciated: How can I get Lightroom to use more than 10% of my resources? How can I get the adjustment brush to work? Is it possible to downgrade to we'll tell LR4 or LR5? Any help to improve this mess so I can actually finish my work.

    Thank you.

    Chris

P.S., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, holders, Hasselblad Phocus (for trial) work fine without any problem of freezing or seizure.

    Hi christopherw,

Please turn off the graphics processor of Lightroom preferences.

    Open Lightroom

Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

    Click the performance tab

    Deselect the graphics processor

    Restart Lightroom

Let us know if that helps.

  • 4.4 upgrading to LR 5 of regrets?

I'm set in my ways...   Had a few problems when I upgraded from 2 to 3 or something years ago.

In any case been use LR4 for awhile and I'm happy.  I got a new 27 i - mac and a copy of a $40 of the LR5,.

any issue that could send me in a fit of anger if I update?

I use it. NEF and. MOS files and do a little video between the D800.

Thank you.  (I'm holding tight on the "pre-creative" cloud) of things, always in the hope of the "last update".

Personally, I think that the D800 is overstated the potential of file size is greater than the power of solving most of Nikkor lenses.

It's because I always get better results (in some cases) with a Leaf Aptus back on a Hasselblad 500 17MP (lenses CF T *) rather than the larger files with less apparent visual information between the D800. The D700 is the Sweetspot camera for DSLR IMO work.

For me, the upgrade was really worth. LR5 is not very different from the LR4, the main differences being the addition of the Radial filter and vertical automation and changes to the Clone/Heal tool to make it to the brush. I use the radial filter a lot, often several times in the same image and find faster than the Local adjustment brush unless the adjustment must be done in a complex form. Vertical position can be a time saver, but I don't always love what he has done and cancel it and straighten the horizon or correct the distortion manually. The new Clone/Heal can often save me a trip to the PS and the need later to save a tiff file.

  • Selection of the target profile?

I use win 7-64. I have a Sony (Zeiss) 55 mm/1.8 ZA lens. Camera Sony Alpha 7R (full screen)

I start the Sony FE profile download and select the lens. Normally, it works well and Lightroom comes automatically with the correct target/profile.

Sometimes I download new photo (exactly like I always do) and the selection of Sony FE lens is not found. Only Sony and automatically zoom is selected and nothing else is available to choose. That's why Lightroom automatically select the lens bad nothing else is available, while most of the time it works perfectly and nothing changed in the download procedure.

    Any solution, bug?

Yes indeed, the answer is very simple, but someone needs to put you on the right track! Thank you for that.

    I'll look into the details.

For what is Hasselblad is I look further. I can build my own one, but it is very difficult to make a good calibration, particularly on extreme good lenses like Zeiss from Hasselblad lenses.

In any case, I'm happy to close this call.

  • Profile of correction does not account for Sony brand

Profile correction automatically recognizes some make Hasselblad. My pictures are taken with Sony Nex - 5R. If I manually select "Sony E' that make LR recognizes the lens properly. Is it possible to fix this or is it a bug? Found a topic on the forum of the year 2007, but there is no solution (at least at the time).

    Thank you

I found a few examples of raw images NEX - 5R at PhotographyBlog.com and has tested them with PS - CC / ACR 8.4.1.

There is a purpose built, but only for Chromatic Aberration profile, so the external profile that you see when you select Sony E to do may indeed be correct, but so is the profile of Hasselblad, because it gives a nearly identical correction, with slightly more vignetting correction flashes in the corners, even if in the example below there is the flash fall It is difficult to say which version of the correction of vignetting is more correct.

Hasselblad detected using Auto as the correction of the goal of installation, as well as the ToolTip describing the embedded profile:

Profile of Sony E detected using as the default setup of the lens correction after having been defined as default profile:

The raw image came from here:

    http://www.PhotographyBlog.com/reviews/sony_nex_5r_review/sample_images/

So my interpretation of the behavior of LR, based on this one objective I found samples with Hasselblad profiles are correct for your camera, but if you set the Sony E profiles using the default lens profile process, described above, the corrections will be also correct.  Without knowing if Sony made Hasselblad lenses or Hasselblad makes Sony E lenses, and without knowing if their electronics is the same, it is difficult to know if LR is something wrong to recognize the Sony E lenses like Hasselblad objectives.

Don't you see the same corrections for your lenses you opt for Hasselblad or Sony E?

  • Goal profiles does not not in Lightroom 5.4?

I've got OSX 10.9.2, Lightroom 5.4, last Camera raw, everything is up-to-date.

When I "Allow for correction of profile" for an image taken with a Sony a7r and 55 mm Sony FE lens, it should automatically recover this profile:

    / Library/Application Support/Adobe/CameraRaw/LensProfiles/1.0/Sony/SONY (Sony FE 55mm F1.8 ZA) - RAW.lcp

Well, this isn't.  Lens Sony optical available in Panel of Correction in Lightroom is "Sony DT 18-200mm."  But there are several dozen profiles Sony lens in the directory 'Sony '.

And more confusing, the camera 'Make' menu lists 8 manufacturers (Apple, Canon, DJI, GoPro, Nikon, Sigma, Sony, Tamron) but leaves aside a number others - Fujifilm, Leica, Hasselblad, Mamiya, etc.

And as for Sony, only one goal Tamron is listed.

I tried to reinstall fresh Lightroom and not luck.

Photoshop works very well and has all the profiles of the lens.

Anyone else noticing this?  You have a difficulty?

    Upset in Cambridge,

    Mike

RAW or Jpeg? I'm guessing not raw. Most of the profiles of lenses are for Raw files only... and I can see this profile when I select a Raw file, but not if I select a rendered file.

  • Bridge cannot read the format from my new camera RAW

I just bought a new Sony SLT - A58 but bridge says that it cannot read the RAW format, so, I can't download my pictures.

I went online and found an Adobe Camera Raw 6.7.1 and DNG Converter 7.4 plugins that supposidely would solve the problem. Nothing helps. Still refuse to recognize the RAW format.

Desperate as it's my job to camera and and need it up and runing as soon as possible. I have had absolutely no problem with my older Sony A100.

What's weird is that... If I pass the photos in the converter, it shows me the .dng pictures version, so something is there. Why the bridge can not see my RAW photos? ... and also, leave tons of caches and weird icons in the file, a real mess.

I'm on Mac OS 10.6.8 platform (Snow Leopard) and using CS5... and Yes, all my programs and software are up-to-date.

    Thank you for your help...

    ... and happy new year

So if the RAW support is specific, why do a plugin for CS5 and for my camera?

Adobe has released versions of Adobe Camera Raw (ACR) immediately to ACR 1.0 (which was compatible with Photoshop 7). However, cameras supported varies according to the version of ACR and the version of the Adobe application.

    You must match:

    • your camera brand and model
    • the version of Camera Raw that takes in charge your camera brand and model
    • the specific version of Adobe software that supports the version of Camera Raw that you need.

In your case, the Sony SLT - A58 was first based ACR 7.4 - which is only supported in CS6 and later versions. CS5 is not compatible with ACR7.4.

Full list of supported devices is here

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Creative-Suite/KB/camera-raw-plug-supported-cameras.html

Applications of camera Raw compatible Adobe are listed here

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/x-productkb/global/camera-raw-compatible-applications.html

CS5 is certainly not an antique and the A58 Sony isn't a huge technology Hasselblad. I have friends who have a large Nikon and Sony A77 and Canon and import their FIRST in their Bridge CS5.

All that matters is that the specific camera corresponds with what version of ACR - and what applications are Adobe are compatible with this version of ACR.

Can't comment on great Nikon or Canon mentioned above without specific camera model numbers.

However, the Sony A77 is supported by ACR6.5 which is compatible with Bridge CS5 +. Easy to see why this combination works.

Similarly, your Sony A100 was first supported by ACR 3.5, which is compatible with Bridge CS2 +. Easy to see why it works.

Always read the tables linked above Adobe and cross with each other. That should clear up your confusion.
