lenses

Someone said that the 70-200 F2.8 IS not figure among the precedents of this cluster.  Improve the materials and technology, do you think that canon continues to make these current editions now in production the old-fashioned way, do not incorporate new technologies or improved methods and the results of the feedback and other experiences they have had since they first started to make this goal?  I suppose also that at some point, anyone who is the manufacturer, a lemon slipped through and out to the public, then just cross our fingers and hope we don't get one.  So far... so good!

Thank you very much.  What a great article. does anyone know if these types of changes came the 70-200 F2.8 IS not lens?   After 12 years of filming with my flash, I was told that the service would be is no longer included on 580 flashes due to the new models coming out and canon is more eager to manufacture parts for the old original.  Canon made a review on the original flash and it is like new but it made me think.  Thank you very much for your input and assistance-much appreciated. I have a hard time after the technical stuff, but that you referred me to the article was great.  I'll save it for reference, as well. I had nothing but good luck and excellent photos from canon.  the extra weight and the extra large it costs between the IS and IS was important at the time, and I'm happy with the model no IS.  I don't shoot too much money now, but really started by accident several years with a nikon to help a friend who worked in a dept food shoot a convention when the hired photographer did not show swithched mamiya 645 s and RB 67 s; then three complete systems of hasselblad for myself and a wizard and spare parts, then fuji pro S when digital came out, then canon and recently sold my 1Ds to buy the 5 d III to get the higher ISOs to take pictures at night on the race track even if I use the 85 mm F1.2. I am happy with the 5 d III and it is smaller and takes pictures that continue to amaze me.  photography has given me a lot of pleasure and for friends and family too, and canon has been a big part of that, so I stay with them and only buy their equipment.  Yes, there are others that are great gear and probably cheaper, but isn't it great that we can all choose our own path? Thanks again.

  • APS - c lenses on fs7

Hello. I have a question on the APS - C sensor Sony lenses (got a bit for my a6000). Taking into account the crop factor of 1.39 x on the Super 35 mm sensor the FS7, what is the advantage of using lenses full frame on FS7? And can I use APS - C lenses? (I'm still waiting for my FS7 to arrive, so have not had the chance to experience).

Any e mount lens can be used on the FS7 without the need for an adapter.
In your first post asked you if there was an advantage to using a full-frame lens against a target of APS - C format. Not that I know, but more importantly, there is no problem either. You can use any e mount lens on the FS7.

  • NEX - 5N LA - ai2 with Sigma lenses

Anyone know if the optical image stabilizer works on the Sigma lenses when it is attached to the NEX - 5N camera using the adapter LA - ai2?

I discovered that the operating system works.

  • 2nd generation Sony lenses

Yes I confirm that it is currently 20mm, 25mm, 135mm

Will get back to you if we change 20 mm, 50mm, 135mm

My thoughts as well... Why 3 goal together? CVP has actually classified all of the 3 35-50-85... which makes more sense, then just buy the 20mm on the side. The 135mm would be so much we'd just rent it when necessary.

Really can't wait to see some real pictures of these babies. If they can Albums CP.2 lenses and have distortion and the chroma under control, they are a clear choice IMO.

  • Problem with the latest adapters of goal for the F5 for B4 lenses - the B4S16PL and the LAFZP12PL.

I just got the latest adapters of goal for the F5 for B4 lenses - the B4S16PL and the LAFZP12PL. I have them sitting correctly, but they will not allow my lenses backfocus. What is the problem here?

Do you mean that you cannot physically use the backfocus on lenses, or you can not get the correct backfocus?

The correct backfocus with these cards, if they like the others I used it, will be very different from that of the correct backfocus on a camera usually 2/3 "

  • Lenses & lens adapters

I think it would be a good idea to publish information about what lens and lens adapters we use including images,.

There are so many combinations available, it would be very helpful to new people in the industry like me to have available what works well, what cards are better then others and possibly even links to some images taken with the lens and adapter of choice.

    Thanks for reading.

If Nikon lenses (AI, AI - s or G) are on your list, then the more powerful, built #1 adapter etc. is Optitek Pro-Lock. Yes, it is the most expensive, but worth every penny. It has been a lot of discussion about his here and on DVXUSER if you want to learn more. FYI-I got the Nikon MTF adapter for 6 months and when it does work it pales in comparison to the Pro-Lock.

  • Lenses sorter machine

Hello, I got a project. They want to make a machine sorter of lenses.

    This machine features;

1 - there are 40 channel intransitive lenses of units.

    2. I want to use a sweep line

3 - sorting process will complete with micro-pompes (analog input) require it to give way to a processor of pump

time required for the image processing and sorter of lenses (process micro-pompes) is 10 ms.

To run this project, which is required to use the products.

    Thank you for your help

Sorting at high speed is a fairly common use for tools case of OR.  Not many companies can closely integrate and synchronize with e/s high speed machine vision in the same system.  Your best first step is probably to talk directly with the technician in your area.  He or she can learn the specific requirements of your system and recommend the correct resources, hardware and software to develop the system.

  • lenses for APS - C format will work with a full frame?

I look again for Canon 5 d IV, but can't afford to start out, but with maybe one goal, their EF 24 ~ 105. I have a few lenses for my other devices. the first three go with my EOS Elan, yes I kept a camera for 20 years... I was in the East, America Asia Central, Hawaii, Canada and England with me.

    Thank you, Blair...

Objectives of Canon EF - S cannot be mounted on a FF camera.

A few glasses of APS - C 3 rd-party can mount successfully, but at best, you'll probably get vignetting. At worst, you may damage the mirror.

  • Lenses for vixia hf r72

Hello! I just had a Vixia HF R72 and was looking for a 24 mm lens. I have searched but found none recommend directly from Canon. I have found, however, a deal on Amazon but read they are not really very good. Is there a Canon lens that I could buy to improve my Vixia or it is not necessary or recommended due to its very good characteristics. TIA

I looked in order to give you an answer but have found nothing useful other than what you found on Amazon.  The lenses to Add on two, I found on the website of Canon were not compatible with your camcorder.  I have lenses module my camcorders (older models) of another brand, but have found that I rarely use them.  Of those I have the lens wide angle is the one that I used the most.  I have not found a 24mm lens module.  Those I've seen ranging from 0.43 - 0.45 x.  24 mm is more like a lens for a DSLR or a high range with interchangeable lens camcorder.

  • Lenses and camera full photo frame

I currently have the 1100D, and I could soon get the 5 d Mark II. I just need to know if my lenses are compatible with the Mark II. My lenses are: 28-105mm and 90-300mm.

My lenses are compatible with this camera?

    Thanks in advance!

Canon EF (not EF-S objectives) objectives, they are compatible.

If they are a different manufacturer they will fit, but a few drinks are designed to harvest of sensor devices, so you can get the vignetting.

What are the manufacturers of the lenses?

  • Canon 6 d and that compatible lenses?

I recently sold all my equipment Nikon together for various reasons.  I'll buy the Canon 6 d when it comes out next month.

I live in the Japan and it is currently listed as a kit: EOS 6 d EF24 - 105L IS USM.  I want a 18-200 and hope that Canon fits Nikon and goes out with a 18-300 soon.  When I search contacts, what code number should I look to be sure it is 100% compatible with the 6 d.

Is this the 'EF', 'IS' or 'USM' in the part number I need to make sure that is always in a lens that is 100% compatible with the 6 d.

    * Beginner cannon *.

    Hello from Tokyo

The 6 d AF limited compared to 5-3 and a lot of Nikon, I advise you to try it before you buy.

"EF" means full frame, this is the only important to you. Do not buy one that says "EF - S" it's APS - C only sencor. All EF will be 100% compatible.

'IS' is stabilized and 'USM' is fast AF, they are irelevant in terms of compatible or not.

You will find 18-200 on sensors full frame as the 6 d. The standard zooms are more like the 24-105 you have selected. If you want a zoom and the size is very large, the 24-105 or the new 24-70 is a good choice.

Overall, I'm not sure why buy a camera full frame and use it with a single zoom dark. You will lose the benefit of the large sensor. At least, I recommend you buy a 50mm 1.8, as well as your body and play with him (it is 8000 JPY in Kakaku.com).

My advise is to try different lenses before settle you on a total of this pelases you. Usually people spend 2/3 of the budget on lentils, 1/3 only on the body, because the pictures you make depends more on the lenses. A lens can not do it all very well.

  • Need advice on lenses

I plan to buy a 80 d with 18-135mm IS USM Canon. If I want to take pictures of some sports (baseball, for example), should I the 55-250 mm of STM IS? I currently own a Canon 100-300mm F/4.5-5.6 ultrasonic lens, but it doesn't have image stabilization.

The image quality of the lens of STM IS EF - S 55-250 will be better than your old EF 100-300 USM, but I would certainly spend some time with the 100-300 before deciding on a purchase of lenses. This will help you identify where are the gaps in your current target. Both lenses have the same aperture of f/5.6 at the end of time, so you can decide that you want a larger maximum aperture like f/2.8. What is the focal length of most of your shots, it is 300mm or would have a 70-200mm lens to work for your shooting style. Since you have a lens that will work, there is no rush to buy a new one. Image stabilization help system update when shooting at high fps, but is not really necessary for a sharp picture itself since you should use a high enough shutter speed.

  • Lenses for a digital camera

  • What kind of lenses (both Canon and after walking) fits my Canon Rebel T1i?

I used my kit lens to my RebelT1i and it works fine, but now I'm ready to start investing in new lenses, but with all the different types available, I'm not sure how know what suits. EF, EOS, etc, if I choose to invest in 'other than canon' lenses is there a way to know how to choose one that suits you my rebel? I am even more confused when it comes to buy filters. I know that he should ' t matter with filters if it is EOS, the EF or what ever, but if I wanted to buy a f or polorized stop or a UV filter, for example, should I buy a new one for each lens? are there adapters for them to adapt? And just so interested in opinion, do you prefer lenses macro, or tubes macr and why?
    Thank you!

Recently, I discovered my film camera EOS 650 purchased circa 1990 with 3 EF lenses (50 mm, 35-105 mm, 100-300 mm), in perfect condition. These old lenses would be incompatible with a new EOS Rebel SL1 body?
