  • I have a Wacom Intuos 3 and Photoshop CS6 with OSX Yosemite. I installed the plugin 'Whitewindow' but the browser panel still takes on a life of its own every so often - zoom in and zoom out. Any help would be appreciated.

    Probably you have the standard version of Photoshop CS6. 3D and video functions are available in Photoshop Extended, or Photoshop CC. If it's just for a one-time project you can consider download a trial of Photoshop CC: https://creative.adobe.com/products/photoshop

    You need Camera Raw version 9.0 for the D7200, so you can install it for CS6. However, you need LR 6 to work with these files, unless convert you them to DNG LR4 to open either with ACR 9.0 by bridge or by the free dng converter.

    If you had perpetual CS6 install Creative cloud versions of Photoshop. Uninstall CS6 then install CS6 via the desktop creative cloud application.

    If you have only perpetual CS6, I suggest that you try to install CS6 on top of your current CS6. Who should back up CS6 level to version 13.0.  After installing CS6 use menu help > updates.  Who should update the CS6 for Windows version 13.0.1.3 or 13.0.6 Mac ACR to ACR 9.1.1 CS6 must be activated and your Plug-ins, actions and presets preferences will be always installed.

    I have the latest update installed for Photoshop CS6 for Mac, I also hosts the latest OS (MountainLion 10.8.4). I have a MacBookPro end of 2012. Everytime I open Photoshop, it shows an error log saying "sniffer_gpu quit unexpectedly. I had this happened before and got fixed, but don't remember how and does it just one more time. I have searched all over the web to find an answer, but I'm not and I'm lost. Everything is up-to-date, why do I get this crash and how to fix it?

    Photoshop works very well, but it's an annoying error and something seems to be wrong. But what? If anyone can help, I would be grateful. I don't want to have to reinstall Photoshop every few months because of this error, because I feel that I shouldn't.

    Account required to workaround is to disable the sniffer of gpu until the fix is issued.

    1. in the folder Photoshop CC, Ctrl-click on Adobe Photoshop CC.app

    2. choose "Show Package Contents" from the context menu.

    3. open the contents > MacOS folder, search for "sniffer".

    4. keep that file, but to rename it by placing a tilde from sniffer: ~ sniff

    5. close the finder and PS CC should start normally.
