  Theo, the fact is that the material produces a lot of heat and all hardware components must be properly cooled. If this is not the case, the temperature of the material will be increasingly high. On some critical points, the laptop can turn off without any warning. This happens to avoid damaging the material.

  If placed on the bottom side cooling fan does not work, I guess that one reason for portable hot. I don't know if the warranty is still valid, but it must be checked by the service. If the cooling fan is defective it must be replaced with a new.

  The network could be heavy loaded at times and speed of replication will be reduced. Replication speed also depends on the speed of the hard disk on which are located the I\O repositories.

  Have you tried to measure the speed of the network with certain tools?

  I have Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit - there are some Windows features that I am trying to disable in ' Control Panel configuration/programs and features/Turn Windows features on or off. " I get the message: "year error has occurred, not all features have been changed successfully." I would like to stop the games and Windows Gadget platform.

  I tried to do this thing at once with no results and the same message.

  I ran sfc/scannow then chkdsk/r, as suggested in the Windows 7 forums - without errors or corrupted files have been found.

  What could be the problem? Comments, advice or ideas are welcome.

  Satellite A100-027 seems to be equipped with 1 GB of RAM (2 x512MB)
  If you are using Win Vista or Win 7 then it would be desirable to increase the RAM up to 2 GB.

  Equium A100 has already SATA interface that means you buy a HARD drive with SATA interface, but it of not important if she s SATA1 or SATA2 interface because the two standards will work (SATA2 is compatible downgrade to SATA1).

  So just buy a * 2.5 HARD drive with SATA interface *. Also there is no capacity limit, 500GB or more should work and manufacturing is also independent.

  Well, I'll throw another possibility here - if you are on a San, you'll never really know what is happening. I recently had a client whose SAN was... challenged for space. This thing was dynamically allocated disk space left, right and center. Who knew what disk pack Essbase db files were really. Who knew how much space was really there. As far as I know, they had grids of Commodore 1541 floppy drives (probably the most reliable and slow floppy drive never out - I went through several) a helping hand. The point being that sometimes the exact same Calc took 9 seconds, other times they took 5 minutes. And it was on a clear outside and loaded database. Certainly he did tuning calculations difficult, and that's an understatement.

  But I bet on fragmentation. You say that when you have disabled the database above the zero level, it took minutes of agg it back up to the top where it normally takes seconds. This quick time as part of a clear is responsible, zero level and then environment DIM CALC? It would be a pretty darn close to 100% of defragmentation of database. If you already have the level 1, 2, 3, etc. blocks, then you are in at least some form of fragmentation. Check that it in EAS and you will see.

I download the latest version of firefox 33.0.2 and install it. This version was super fast. But becomes slow and unresponsive when I tried to install the Add-ons. I visited the official site of firefox and searching for addons, when I tried to install addons, Firefox crashed. Therefore, it has becomes quite slow and cannot restore previous sessions. Even to type my email address, it takes more than 5 minutes and reacts more frequently (after typing each letter).

• Satellite A100 - Internet becomes slower after 10 minutes

  the Satellite A100 worked well for a few years, the internet has become suddenly too slow after 10 minutes of the start.
  The laptop switched on the first time that the internet works very well the 10 first minutes then becomes slower and slower until almost no packets are received but the connection does not completely down.

  Suspected spyware, rootkit, is cleaning up, and then installed from the disk recovery

  Then I tried the same thing. Uninstalled the connection to the local network and then reinstalled from the Device Manager, nothing.
  I figured that the Ethernet port is a failure. Then I used an adapter usb-to-Ethernet D - Link is completely independent of the integrated Ethernet hardware. Nothing, same behavior, working, first fine then Firefox displays a downtime

  The modem, cable, internet are all very well since I have tested with a PC and a laptop Fujitsu (5 years) and they all work very well. Even the D-Link works fine.
  The Toshiba pc diagnostic tool specifically says "Network Fail", but it crashes exactly?

• Equium A100: Crisp & slows down sound while the use of CP's high

  When I play a cd/dvd, or extract the contents of cd for laptop, or whatever it is which includes the use of the D: drive, the sound is all distorted and crunchy and slows down. also, the CPU usage is very high, and it won't let me write anything on disks.

  This has happened a few months now, it was workin perfectly before hand and I've only had the phone since Christmas, so it is still under warranty. It's an equium A100 series.

  I've been looking around on the forums and found athread on a similar problem but on a laptop satellite, and which was resolved by a new drive being installed because the original was defective. the link to this thread is:

  Equium A100 is very similar to the Satellite A100. So maybe it's really a problem even as described in the other thread.

  But listen David, before you send the laptop and want to replace the HDD try first to reinstall the OS from the recovery CD!

  Try everything first format the whole HARD drive, erase the partitions and reinstall the OS.

  If this does not help, it would be wise to check, if the same thing would happen with the new HARD drive!

• Equium A100-338 display has stopped working

  I have exactly the same problem on my Equium A100-338 loaded with Vista.
  The display has stopped working (he went to a poorly lit black screen) after I had rebooted my machine even if the computer and the hard drive seems to work Ok with the lights on.
