  No there is no way, how the do, because the license of Windows Vista is part of the computer compaq laptop - this is the license OEM - and cannot be separated.

  (in case the laptop is broken and cannot be repaired, then the license expiresand cannot be used on another computer)

  A version bought the current version (Acrobat DC Pro) can be exchanged, so you should be able to run on Windows or Mac. But never both. You can then run it on two machines for your own personal use (do not share).

  A subscription version can be installed on two computers. Windows or Mac. For a person.

  More complex arrangements are pointing to a need for volume licenses.

  I installed Microsoft Office Visio 2010 Beta for testing.  Since I did, Office No. documents on my Start --> Documents (Classic) or Start --> my recent documents list.  No other files, such as PDF and images (.jpg and .gif) are listed, just no Excel, Word, PPT or the Visio.

  I use an issued work laptop, so I can't upgrade the OS or other Office programs.

  Current context:

  • Professional XP 2002 SP2
  • Microsoft Office 2003: Excel, Word, PowerPoint

  If so, try the following:

  New computers coming often pre-installed with Windows 7 have what is called a recovery partition. This is used to reinstall an operating system in the case of a system failure. To access it, you need to start when you start your computer by pressing a function key. This can be either F1, F2, F9, F10, F11, F12 key DEL or tab.   You can then retrieve your personal files from the Windows.old folder and reinstall all of your applications and drivers.
