• Adobe Bridge CC 2015?

  I like Adobe Bridge. I used to use it all the time. However, my laptop Lenovo Yoga 3 Pro has a high resolution screen, and Adobe Bridge has not been updated to work on these screens high resolution. The text is small enough to be totally unreadable, so the bridge is unusable on my laptop.

  Adobe Bridge for Windows has not been updated since 2013; It is still not being updated to bridge CC 2015 or even bridge CC 2014; the only updates were minor bug fixes, with no fix for screens high resolution.

  This means that the bridge is abandonware?

  That is, should I start looking for a non Adobe product to replace?

• Last update of bridge (CC 2015)

  Just updated this morning at the bridge CC 2015 and notes a strange, for me anyway, behavior. On the version previous of the bridge if you have clicked on several images, right click 'Open' deck would send all the images in Camera Raw for processing. In the new version, however when you select several images and right-click on 'Open' they'll load individually in a Camera Raw window. The only way to get multiple open in Camera Raw images together is to click on "Open in Camera Raw".

  It's not a big deal, except that now I have to train my brain to click "Open in Camera Raw" rather that "open". Personally I use Bridge / Camera Raw as a light box to make a quick and dirty selection of guards and releases. Either way, I'm going to make the transition, but at my age (70) and after 20 years of Photoshop, this may take a few concentration for a while. Basically, I would like to know if this is how the new bridge is supposed to work?

  It turns out that the problem was with a preferences file corrupted after the upgrade. After trying out of windows of the hanging bridge and I had to do a restart. When I started the bridge after the reboot, I got a message that the preferences file was damaged and had to be rebuilt. I did and the problem went away.

• Impossible to update Adobe Bridge CS5

  I just reinstalled Photoshop CS5 on my new desktop replacement processor.  I tried to update, but kept getting the message to close Adobe Bridge CS5.  It is closed.  I tried the following suggestions of the fair questions: (1) went to the Task Manager and confirmed that Adobe Bridge is closed.  (2) tried to go in Edition > Preferences > advanced to say ch is not to load the bridge at the launch.  There is no progress and no ability to check/uncheck.  (3) tried to download the 12.0.3 patch, but can not find anywhere in downloads, showing for me.  Help!

  I finally found the answer to my question continuing to search.  Adobe Bridge is running in the background.  To stop it, I had to go to the Task Manager > processes.  In addition, edit > Preferences > advanced was in Adobe Bridge - not Photoshop.  I'm all squared away.

According to the release notes, the latest three patches for reader XI have been updated quarterly regular, AdbeRdrUpd11013.msp apply to my English version of 11.0.10 was therefore correct. Updater as to why said me "no update available", I suspect it is because I was running 11.0.10 on an operating system not supported (Vista). It bothers me a little that Internet Explorer always reports the 11.0.10 version, but in all likelihood it is simply because Adobe has not changed AcroPDF.dll since last December.
