• I can't download Photoshop CC to my PC. It fails to download 43% with request to close Adobe Bridge. However, the bridge is not open. I downloaded LightRoom CC.

  I can't uninstall my CS4 bridge without install Photoshop as well. I don't want lose CS4 until I know I successfully installed CC still Photoshop CC will not download because that there apears to be a conflict with Bridge CS4. Advice would be appreciated.

  As far as I was aware bridge was not open.

  But I was thinking more on this subject and realized it can work as a background utility. I've disabled the startup routine bridge and downloaded Photoshop CC so problem solved.

  Im trying to install a trial version for adobe elements first and when its about to start installing, it says to close adobe bridge (bridge.exe). He always says that when im at the end of the installation of something. This only happens on my windows vista computer. but not the rest of my computer Please HELP!

  Open the Task Manager and click the processes tab.  Search no matter which instance of bridge.exe and close it.

  You probably have set up bridge to start on login and it runs in the background.  Can change it in the Advanced preferences of the bridge.

• Download problems and Adobe Camera RAW update

  I'm at the end of my rope here. I tried to download and update my Adobe Camera RAW software, so it can read the RAW of Nikon D750 files but the download of this has been a nightmare.

  First of all, download speed, excruciatingly slow. This isn't a problem with my network I checked the speed I was getting is 1 Mbit/s for all other downloads, but for some reason that the download speed for the update is around the 15 and 16 Kbps. I tried to download through the application manager and directly via the Web site.

  Secondly, in the case of the application manager, after 5-6 hours of excruciating download, during the night it showed an error message from the application manager was still on (when I tried to update the camera raw through my photoshop cs6, there was also an option for updating the application manager, I tried to uncheck the option (, but it does not really) and could not be updated, and the whole thing closes. Worse still, once I try again, it starts from zero, then no progress haven't saved!

  
  Then I tried directly via the Web site to download the camera raw 9.1.1 for mac Adobe. Again, slow download speed and it maintains have expired. I make several attempts to reboot and finally facing the same issue, all the progress of downloading are lost, and I have to start from scratch.

  I write this, I'm trying again through the application manager. There is no way to download the plugin just separately to read the NAVE of Nikon D750 file format?

  If the DPI setting is not set to 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% the script error will appear.  If your DPI setting is set to something else, please set it to one of these and the installer should work.  We are working on a fix for this.

  To check/change the DPI setting:

  1. Start the control panel and go to Control Panel\All Control Panel Items\Display
  2. In the left menu, select set size custom text (PPP)
  3. In the Windows Setup custom DPI select 100%, 125%, 150% or 200% in the menu drop-down
  4. Click OK
  5. Select apply
  6. Open a session/disable
  7. Online installer should now run without displaying the script error.

  Vizzpat there is no uninstaller for Adobe Bridge CS6.  Adobe Bridge CS6 is installed by various applications.  When these requests have all been deleted then Bridge CS6 will be deleted as well.

  In general, you can locate the uninstaller for Mac OS programs in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.  You can also find additional information about installing and removing applications to install and update the apps - https://helpx.adobe.com/creative-cloud/help/install-apps.html.

• Impossible to update Adobe Bridge CS5

  I just reinstalled Photoshop CS5 on my new desktop replacement processor.  I tried to update, but kept getting the message to close Adobe Bridge CS5.  It is closed.  I tried the following suggestions of the fair questions: (1) went to the Task Manager and confirmed that Adobe Bridge is closed.  (2) tried to go in Edition > Preferences > advanced to say ch is not to load the bridge at the launch.  There is no progress and no ability to check/uncheck.  (3) tried to download the 12.0.3 patch, but can not find anywhere in downloads, showing for me.  Help!

  I finally found the answer to my question continuing to search.  Adobe Bridge is running in the background.  To stop it, I had to go to the Task Manager > processes.  In addition, edit > Preferences > advanced was in Adobe Bridge - not Photoshop.  I'm all squared away.

• Photo Downloader Adobe Bridge recognizing only no camera after upgrading to El captain in Mac

  Recently, I upgraded my Macbook Pro to El captain, since then my Adobe Bridge Photo downloader no longer recognizes my cards or camera. It is not the USB cable as iPhoto wants to quickly download photos I want to use. Anyone have any idea if it is a small problem with the new OS or would be - something else and if the former there is a fix for it soon?

  Discovered Adobe Bridge CC with Mac OS 10.11 (El Capitan) does not work with many USB devices to import images (including iPhone).

  Apple said: "the USB stack is completely redesigned to improve stability and performance compared to Mac OS 10.10. Applications and third-party drivers for vendor-specific USB devices may require modification. "This is something APPLE has changed, that I hope that Adobe can answer, because now there is no real solution. I use this work around:

  • Import images with Photos Apple app
    • Choose file > export > export Original unmodified
  • Save the files where you want
  • Batch rename the images and add metadata in Adobe Bridge
