  I have a laptop Toshiba Satellite A105-S2194 that somehow lost its audio driver. He worked week last and then this week his party.

  In addition, I recommend the deletion of the soundcard from the Device Manager and restart the laptop. If the audio driver has previously been installed correctly then the Windows operating system should recognize the sound card again and the sound should work.

• SM Bus controller driver missing

  IM missing a driver for SM Bus controller.  My motherboard is a Chaintech 7NJL6.  Im running a Sempron 3000 + with 1 GB of RAM.  I'm not sure if it's related to the missing pilot, but I can not install also 2 GB of RAM.  Where can I find the correct driver and that would solve the problem of installation of RAM or a rider can which I can't find on the internet.  Any help would be appreciated.

  If this does not work, you have to do a search on google by inserting the PCI\VEN_1022 & DEV_780B in the search window.

  AMD products give me fits trying to find their drivers.  The device is a controller Bus SM AMD. That's about all I can find these details.

  I have a HP Pavilion dv6-6b26sa.

  I love the laptop.  I did a clean reinstall of Windows 7 64-bit.

  Everything installed perfectly, except the SM Bus controller - I have a yellow! next to him - no drivers...

  I did the update of the autopilot in the Device Manager, found nothing.  I read that some people have tried to install the latest AMD / ATI graphics and chipset drivers.  So I made this using automatic detection and install the AMD software - he advised that I have installed the drivers of mobility.  Yet the SM Bus controller has no driver.

  I'm running a put together computer, with Windows XP SP3. I've recently accidentally got rid of my sound on my computer, eliminating the bad program in Add/Remove programs. I know that my computer is running Intel (r) 82801 AA AC 97 Audio Control. So I went to the thought of their site, I had deleted the drivers and audio devices.   , thinking maybe that would help me even though I am not a user real tek (have intel of course). But he said that it is compatible with windows xp. I tried downlaoding it and got the error: "could not complete the installation: missing Audio HDA Bus driver.

  So now, it seemed to me, I had not only a mistake, but two. I tried to download a driver of Bus HDA, but this failed. I tried to look in the Device Manager to see if there was a red or yellow marker next to my audio devices and maybe they needed to be reinstalled. Showing a problem there, he said nothing everythign was working properly. I tried to use Soundmax audio driver as well, but who was also discussed with the bus driver error. I also went to http://noaudiodevice.com , and these solutions do not work either because I was not faced with a problem of yellow or red marker. I also did this off stupidly deletling the bad thing no one updated.

  I recently re-installed Windows XP on my computer Dell Dimension desktop and downloaded every update is available from Windows Update. All right, except that I have no sound.  In the device manager under "Other devices" with a yellow question mark is multimedia Audio Controller.  I know that I need the ADI 198 x integrated Audio driver I can get from the manufacturer's website, but when I try to download it I get the following error:

  I have tried everything to solve this problem, including the automatic adjustment on this site (which has not detected a problem) AND download a patch for Windows XP, which is available here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/888111.  The problem is that there is no fix for XP with Service Pack 3 users! At this point, I am at my wits end and nothing seems to work.  I appreciate any help you could give me. It feels like I tried all the solutions, but I'm open for anything at this point. Thank you!

  If you will forgive the play on words, using MS Update is not the way the most up to date to get the latest drivers for your audio device.

  You go directly to the Dell support site and get your machine of Dimension, and then download the necessary drivers. If you get an error message during the installation you may have inadvertently downloaded the wrong driver.

  Try again or re-post giving Dell Dimension model number.

  a. Click Start, click Control Panel and then double-click System.

  b. click on the Hardware tab.

  c. expand sound, video and game controllers.

  d. double-click the sound card and then click on the driver tab.

  e. click on uninstall the driver.

  f. follow the Hardware Update Wizard to update the sound card driver.
