• Apps for making noise

  Greetings, fans forum.

  I work with a school. I'm their iPad Manager... so everything that touches on the iPad falls in my field. That being said, I have a question.

  Are there apps that I can push my devices which make noise? My question is this: students keep losing their iPads and our MDM shows that these devices are correctly archive with the IP Address of the school. If I could use our MDM to lock the device in an application that makes noise, it would be easy to locate lost devices.

  The issue I'm having is that I can't use all the apps that require student accounts (not signed in) for legal reasons (for children under a certain age). Also, I can't use an app that would use a single login - example, if school had an account - because if the student removes the application, the account would obviously get signed. I can't turn off Remove apps on all devices (I did for the elementary children, but most children are able to remove the apps). So, I need an application that requires NO user account at all.

  I can push any application to any device remotely, but I am struggling to find an app that does just noise. My colleague and I were discussing trying to own app that does this, but we don't have a developer account.

I would like to know if there is a way to fixxing this problem or if I'm just F'ed and had to start over on 3 weeks of work?

  I managed to solve it after a night of messing around; installing new drivers did not work whether, since the problem is that it does not load the driver until the video Bios has been updated. And install other windows operating system did not help either, or formatting the drive etc etc etc.

Being curious, I installed Windows 7 once again, and all the problems started once more. After a reset, I installed Windows 7 for the third time, but this time by using "update" rather than clean-install and that seems to work great so far.

  Have you tried the button on the optical drive emergency eject to release the CD? If this does not work also, this means that the mechanical parts of the optic disc is also defective.
