  Thank you very much for the work you've put into this.  I made the change you suggested making the subkeywords under 'schwartz' to be {name schwartz}.  I don't know who has contributed something, but I think that there are more immediate problem which is mucked up.  As well as the fact that I have several catalogs that I don't know how they were created, I think that the best thing would be to merge all the catalogs into one (it is better to have a single catalog, right?) and delete all the keywords from scratch.

  Please follow the steps below.

  Open Lightroom

  Go to Lightroom preferences in the Edit menu

  Click the performance tab

  Deselect the graphics processor

  Restart Lightroom

  I have 6 of Lightroom installed on a Macbook Pro with images, catalog and previews on an external drive. Without apparent reason, today previews do not appear in the library mode. If I click on a gray rectangle and pass it to develop the mode, the image is here and there when I go to view library. I tried 'optimize the catalogue', stop and restart and curse under my breath.   Error of Lightroom on the preview cache or miniature grey views

  Deleting the file preview may fix the problem. The only downside is that LR will go a little slower until it rebuilt the Preview file.

• My raw D7200 photos do not appear in the catalog but my D7000 are.

  I can import it, edit and export the photos of my D7200, but they do not appear in the catalog folders in Lightroom. I have Lightroom CC and Windows 8.2. When I try to re-import them, it is said that they apparently are duplicates of those already in the catalog, but they are nowhere to be seen. If I import with the D7000, they show in the file immediately.

  Check your setting to import when importing this D7200 camera images. Check the location for the same thing. Check if a preset is applied.

  To find this folder, they go to right click on one of the images D7200 and select Show in Finder/Explorer (according to your operating system), and a file Manager window opens in the folder in which it is located. Search for this file in the folder list in the LR library module (must be there).

  I have developed a problem with files - they seem to be empty. I can't access the folders thumbnails. I have to go to the library and start looking for them. It happens all the time.   Open iTunes, plug in the iPhone, select what you want, sync. Whatever this is not selected synchronization is deleted.

  Yes did not work because it would not actually be disappeared from my computer but by messing around after that you suggested, I found another person here who was sort of a similar problem and microsoft team recommends that they download a revouninstaller. If after that it still didn t in the revouninstaller but it allowed me to do a right click on the files and uninstalling this way.

  The 2009 is really a subfolder, but the master file is not displayed.  The result, as I have said, is that I have a large number of records titled 2009 showing.

  CTRL-click (Mac) or right-click on the file name to open the context menu of the folder - choose Add Parent folder

• Newly downloaded music does not appear in the library on my iphone or itunes. Appears only in "recently added".

  I do not understand how a new mixtape, I downloaded appears on my phone, but it's not really on my phone. I can play in the "recently added" at the top of the list 'My music', but it will not appear under the artist or album.

  Maybe the music is in the cloud. You must be connected to WiFi or cellular connection of these songs. If you tap on a song, and then press the three red dots to the right, you can type on make available offline and download the song.

  You cannot delete individual images of the smart albums. Smart albums based on the rules you set for them.

  Yes, the hidden images are not intended to be Secret. If you do not want them visible at all, remove them from the library of Photos ('Photos' or 'All the Photos') views.

  One of my external hard drives is almost full. I would like to move some of the photos from the old to the new one that I just bought. The new external drive appears in Windows Explorer, but does not appear in Lightroom.

  Hi Loyce1023,

  In order to see the most recent external drive in Lightroom, you must either import some images of the most recent disc.

  Or move some images of the old drive to the more recent, outside of Lightroom, and then reconnect the images from Lightroom.
