  I'm just getting started with VI SDK and I want to create a plugin for VIclient to get some experience. My goal is to create a new tab which would give me a screen session putty inside the VIclient.

  This plugin may have already been done, but I want to do it myself to learn.

  There is one for starts playback on the site and it is said that first of all you need a Web server to host conf files. I'm surprised because I thought that some plugins do not have one.   The official plugin mechanism requires a web server that can serve content specified by the URL in your confiuration file. The web server could be an external one like google map, or your own web server that hosts your web application that connects to your virtualcenter server.

  First of all, quick summary of my configuration:

  • 6 devices - 3 Android and iOS 3 devices all connecting via wireless
  • LAN with my own Web server and DNS. All Web sites are configured to work outside virtualhost such as mysite.local and can be access in the browser on my desktop and all devices
  • My own local server weinre works again since all devices
  • My own PC with Chrome and and extension edge inspect
  • All devices can connect on board to inspect without any problem and in a position to use synchronized browsing Web sites on the internet

  I just upgraded to the full version of creative cloud and now I can view is more Web sites on my LAN in edge inspect but ONLY on my Android devices. I would absolutely swear that my Android devices to connect but for some reason, they cannot now and I get a message "Web Page not available". In addition, it shows the IP of my desktop (I guess this is how to inspect dashboard works?) as the address that it is unable to connect. On the back of this, I tried to connect to this IP address in the Android browser but nothing happened, and I turned off the firewall on my desktop PC but still no luck. Finally, I tried everything Android devices on their own without the connected devices iOS, but also with all 6 are connected and it's the same thing every time.

  Anyone able to help?

  Hi Chris,

  OK, got it. I'm sure that I know what goes wrong. In iOS, the .local domain names management is automatic, but we had to in Android code in a solution for this particular situation. In iOS, .local refers to the local computer, so when the Android client sees that URL to enter, she replaces part se1united.local of the URL with the IP address of the machine running edge inspect. In most cases, that works, but in your case, it seems that you are in fact trying to refer to a third machine whose IP address must be resolved in dialogue with your own domain name server. The code native iOS that runs properly and is not our code custom Android.

  So there is a problem with our Android app, but I suspect the fix for this will not be easy. In the meantime, there should be some simple solutions, you can choose from your side which must make things work correctly with applications Android and iOS.

  1. In Chrome, try referring to your site with the following URL: http://192.168.1.50/ OR
  2. Rename your server from se1united.local to something that does not include the part ".local" domain name

  I think that is one of those who should work fine.

  Problems with layout, missing images, interactivity, styles, etc. in the browser are usually caused by one of the 3 things:

  1. You download all files exported by Muse to your webhost. You need to download all the files, including the css, images, and files scripts that Muse exports when you choose file > export as HTML...

     If your site is not properly displayed in the past, you made some changes to the Muse, exported and transferred your files that have changed, and your site doesn't display correctly, download all your files of site again. Even if you have made minor changes to your site, Muse was changes to the files that you are not aware of. Don't forget to download all the files and folders in Muse exports for your site.

  2. You have downloaded the files, but the permissions on files are not set to allow access by the public. See your FTP client's help files for how to set permissions.
  3. You do not have download directory on your host. In many cases, you will have a users directory and a directory for your public facing web pages downloading. This directory is sometimes called public_html, www, html, etc. Consult the documentation for instructions on the appropriate location transfer your files from web hosting site you.

• Setting up Web server behind the WRT300N

  I'm trying to set up a webserver behind a WRT300N. I followed the article Linksys at the bottom of this post, to the letter, but its still does not. I have a cable modem connected to the WRT300N comcast, and then I have my Web server connected to the internet through the WRT300N wireless. I assigned a static IP address to my web server (192.168.1.2), and I also put in place the router before port 80 to the web server (XP pro). However, when I type the public ip address in a web browser, it can't find my server. I know that the web server works because I seem to be my home page when I type http://localhost in the local web browser. Any ideas?   Have you tried access you a public IP of someone elses PC, IE. a single step on your own network?

  I had / have a problem try accessing one of my friends unless I have use someone elses internet connection. I could access only web interface of my modem otherwise.

  I have to say first off, that muse has changed myself the way I am on the design of web sites. I can now create and deploy large Web sites easily on my own with little or no coding experience. It's invaluable to me. Muse is a game changer for me and it was one of the best pieces of software I have used in many many years. So thanks to give developers the tools to be technical without being technical.

  On my feature request:

  

  As a graphic designer, I have a taste for typography. I have many of my own web fonts. I understand TypeKit has many characters available fonts, but none of them is enough. It is not acceptable to have to settle for a substitute font.

  Adobe Muse MUST have a feature for these creators who own their own web fonts so that they can design and build Web pages with their characters of choice. I understand Adobe must want customers to go to the selection of TypeKit, and I am sure that most of the users use this option. However, for users like me, who focus on every detail - like fonts, it's a critical missing element. The lack of this feature, I'm back in the box start not being able to find any software out there that's 1, easy to use, 2, purely based design and 3, allows you to use your own web fonts.

  I know Dreamweaver and many other WYSIWYG there editors allow me to personalize everything I wish including @font-face rule, but again, I'm a designer - my brain don't think that in the code. That is why Muse is the only option for me.

  So, Adobe, I know you love deeply your software and your customers as well. I am sure that you will take this feature request seriously. I'm not alone to this added feature. Many people on these forums Muse ask about this feature as well. I am asking nicely, nicely begging and pleading kindly that consider you this feautre with your team. , This would mean a lot if you could reply back so we can have an open discussion on this topic. I care too much success on Muse - I am an enthusiast of the it.

  Adobe Muse CC 20141 (published earlier today) supports self-hosted web fonts. To use a specific font in your Muse site, you will need to install the font system (an appropriate license to use desktop) and provide the files to corresponding web fonts (a license appropriate for use on a Web site).

  D: is not a partition backup of your machine.

  Acer has a time set up their machines to the way yours is:

  They had a C: drive for the operating system, a drive D: for data (music, movies, etc you would like to register and a recovery partition 'hidden' to reinstall the operating system and to make the recovery discs to do the same thing.)

  You can merge C: and D: as a whole, BUT save all data on D: first because it will be deleted when you merge.
