Hello from a new Member and help with random images when updating

Hi all

I just joined the forum. In fact I have really just started using Dreamweaver. I covered a lot of ground in recent weeks and

have managed to put in place a basic site using CSS for layout but now I hit my first problem.

On the index page of the site- http://www.hcadesign.co.UK/ there is a large main image that I would change every time that someone

visits the refresh of the site or hits. I hunted around and found a lot of scripts, while using java, which seem to do all that, but I'm not all have

chance for them to work.

I've highlighted where the image must rotate is red.

The scripts I found have usually put something in the head of <>, something where the image should be (but I didn't know if it should be

a_le_sein_de the div or img src or what?) and also a file separate *.js stored in the directory root.

In any case I'm not getting anywhere and need assistance because I don't really know what I'm doing with javascript.

Add new Member and firmware update

I have a group of 4 bays Equallogic

1xPS4000 (Type: 70-0120) and

3xPS6100 (Type: 70-0400)

They all firmware v6.0.4

The new table is a PS6210XV. I'm sure that the firmware of it's newer probably with a release v7.x.

The documentation for the firmware update, it says that I have to upgrade all the tables on my group first, and then add the new group.

I was hoping to add the new table and move some of the volumes to that one, update a table that I emptied, add back to the pool, empty one another etc etc.

Is this possible?

It is really not a good idea to do so. In place upgrade is by far the best option. If you have defined your timeout of 60 seconds and choose a period of quierter I/O, that there should be no problem. Also, be ready for an upgrade means that be ablel to handle a failure of the controller in the case of a real problem of HW.

First, if. You need TO upgrade the new Member and all members of 6.0.x to 7.0.9. The new table will come with 7.0.x since it is the minimum version for this controller. Upgrade to 7.0.9 as well. Create a new pool for this member and do not set the RAID policy yet. Do not enable the iSCSI 2nd course interface.

There are several ways to do so.

One way would be to create a title with the name and title with the password. Add the crop effect to each and the keyframe as necessary. Adjust the size and position as desired.

I've installed Tbird on a new computer and it started OK. When I tried to load into my profile to an old system, it has not worked. Help

The program began OK when I installed on the new computer. I could add my account and to download the incoming mail. I got a big file (8 MB) profile, much saved messages and a big address book as well as several other accounts (work, club, etc.) I need to restore.

I read the instructions on moving and find profiles on the new computer. Help with the images to be copied

Thank you to spend some time to help me with this problem. IM new in the Flash world
I'm actually designing a website and need to copy images from one page to another. The problem is that after pasting images in another place I don't seem to be able to change it without going through the change in original frame. Is there anyway I can copy images (animation, buttons etc.) and still be able to edit them without going through the change of original?
My intention is that both have multiple pages with the same basic design but the slight modification on each page.

You can change the objects in the images pasted regardless of the originals. But if you double-click or otherwise go objects 'timeline', will you change all instances of that object, including the (s) on the original images.

to remedy this, create duplicate objects and use the properties panel to switch the original copied with duplicates. You can then change the duplicates without editing the original.

I'm triying to understand the differences between the three methods to manage UI interactions.
I'm really confused with these three terms when triying them figure out in a real case.
Basically, I know that I should use invokeLater, invokeAndWat, or getEventLock() to avoid

With respect to the effect, there is no difference between methods. The difference is the way in which the result is achieved. So we can't change the code to show you the difference.

As we are unable to demonstrate the difference, you have to do with an explanation. To understand the explanation, you'll need to understand the thread of events, so if you have not already, please consider this:

If the three options are differentiated by the processing order:

(a) invokeLater executes the update on the thread of events. The transformation takes place at a later stage and the code which is in order after the invokeLater will actually run before the code within the invokeLater.

(b) invokeAndWait also manages the update on the thread of events, which means that all other events that await on the thread of events will be run before this code. But any code after the invokeAndWait will not be executed.

(c) the synchronized option, like invokeAndWait, runs the update of the UI before moving on to the following code. The difference is that the code to run on the event Thread is not executed before code in the synchronized block.

If this is meaningless, so that probably does not matter too much. in general, you should use invokeLater, except if you need to update the user interface occur in the order with your background processing. If so, use invokeAndWait. First of all, I apologize if my English isn't the best but it is a translation.

I have a normal 2D image .jpg and have another .gif image is a logo rotating in 3D (I can export this logo in .swf or other format if the .gif is not in the correct format).

I wanted to unite these two images, rely on image .jpg and .gif image over the base in run (revolves around logo) and the junction of the two images together for an image final (with the spining logo) to export.
The final format, could be .jpg or .gif, or any other format.

My question is if may be possible to do this with Photoshop or another program to form Adobe?

Alongside the Mylenium suggestion, you can do it in first (the Pro, or the Elements version), BUT you'd end up with an AV file and NOT a file 'image', as such.

An additional step using a NLE (of Non-linear editing) would be that your animated GIF would work better, if it has been converted into file AV with Alpha for transparency. Then, like layers in Photoshop, one would put the image on the video from track 1, with the converted GIF AV file on video Track 2. Export to a format/CODEC selected AV. Fact. Don't forget, this exported file would be an AV file, NOT an image.

Rather than use the animated GIF, I would rather choose export as a file of my 3D application AV. Most allow several formats/codecs. For material from SD (Standard definition), the ultimate choice would be DV - AVI Type II, using the MicroSoft DV CODEC, or on a Mac, like. MOV with the CODEC of Animation. In these cases, you want to export in million + colors. This + is important, because it will be the Alpha channel for transparency.

Home built computer with Vista installed detail. I always have backups who intend to reinstall on the machine even if the HDD or MB went bad. Full image backup was on the hard drive of withdrawal which do not damaged. Never planned to lose computer any wave of sandstorm. I reinstalled on the same computer successfully before but never tried to migrate to a new computer. Cannot uninstall Vista from your old computer, because it was submerged in salt water and died. You don't have to worry about uninstall on the destroyed computer, because it is not usable.

And no message is sent when you uninstall any computer anyway.

Firebug does not display a script error.

I took a quick glance to your RESTful Service and applications associated and noticed that he was missing something - the "Upload Image" button!
