I've installed Tbird on a new computer and it started OK. When I tried to load into my profile to an old system, it has not worked. Help

The program began OK when I installed on the new computer. I could add my account and to download the incoming mail. I got a big file (8 MB) profile, much saved messages and a big address book as well as several other accounts (work, club, etc.) I need to restore.

I read the instructions on moving and find profiles on the new computer. The profiles of the old computer had been recorded in a folder on the desktop of the new system and I copied and pasted in the location on the new version of Thunderbird. Who did not work and now when I try to open the program I get the message "cannot load profile, it may be missing or inaccessible." I uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times, but continue to get the message. Something in this computer keeps me similarly to launch the program. Help, please.
