There is no real record, is a junction point.

Install Link Shell Extension and select the C:\Users folder as source and create a junction Point and give him the Documents and Settings name.

To eliminate the things in my office, I accidentally deleted all my music and my player MP-3 on Amazon.com.  How to recover these items?

    Hello

    Welcome to the Microsoft community.

When you delete a file from your computer, it is actually just moved to the trash, where it is temporarily stored until the Recycle Bin is empty. This gives you an opportunity to recover accidentally deleted files and bring back them to their original location.

  • Accidentally deleted photos

I accidentally deleted the folder that contained all my .dng files.  The Lightroom catalog files still exist.  How re - import photos from my RAW backups and keep all my changes?

Thanks for your suggestions, I was really at a loss for how best to address the issue.

And believe me, it is a hard lesson to learn, but a better backup system is in place now.

    So here's what I came up with a better solution for me, in this particular situation;

First, I created a new catalog LR called Recovery, and then I imported my backup RAW files photos, using the same location, conversion and naming of the files that I used for my original catalogue (this part was very hard and inconvenient to recreate with the external DNG Converter).

Secondly, I opened my original catalog, and we found most of my photos has been restored, but with all of them showing metadata conflicts.

Thirdly, in the "Metadata" menu, I ran ' Update DNG Preview and metadata "on all files, and everything seems to go well, now including all my changes to LR.

Obviously, the only files that I was not able to recover were created .tiff when I exported photos in Photoshop for editing.  I have the final .jpg finally exported from the LR, but not going back and make minor changes to the original workflow.

Once again, if it can help someone, I hope that is the importance of a full backup system.  Don't take it for granted that your files will always be there.  I did and it bit me in the *, it is high time!

    Thanks again,

    Scott

  • How do I delete photo albums and send them to an external hard drive?

Newbie here and thankful for any help.

I have been scanning a lot of old photos.  I bought a WD My Passport for Mac.  I would like to remove some old albums of photos scanned photos and put them on My Passport.  How to achieve this?  Also, do I buy an external hard drive right or should I format it?  Clerks in Best Buy make it sound so simple... "Just put your photos on an external hard drive.

I guess I should mention that I have defined iCloud for storing photos and I have a time capsule airport put in place.

Thanks to anyone who can help me!

Also, do I buy an external hard drive right or should I format it?

What is the file system of the reader?

Select the icon for the drive in Finder, and then press the combination of keys ⌘I (abbreviation of "file > read information").

The info panel displays the file system in the genres section:

If the file system is not Mac OS extended (journaled) reformat the drive with disk utility before you move all data to it.  Formatting will erase it.

The procedure is explained here for Aperture, but it goes the same for Photos: external drives Format Mac OS extended before using with Aperture - Apple Support

I have been scanning a lot of old photos.  I bought a WD My Passport for Mac.  I would like to remove some old albums of photos scanned photos and put them on My Passport.  How to achieve this?

Save your photos on external hard drive, you have two options - just save the INDIVIDUAL photos or save the photo library.

It would be better to copy your photo library on disk. This way you will save the versions published with all the metadata that you added and the original images in the quality is.

If you export photos you need to make your choice, if you want to export the edited versions or the original versions, or both.

    • To save the library, do it just from the pictures on the external drive folder.
    • To save the individual photos, open one of your albums, then select all photos with ⌘A, then use the command "file > export > export... photos ' and select one a high-quality format t the original size. Do this for all the photos. Check if the export went well, before you delete photos from the library.  To remove photos from an album using the ⌘⌫ key combination command + DELETE.

Empty the recently deleted album only after that you convinced yourself that the exported photos are OK and you have a backup.

Please use the forum for Support of Vista,

Did you follow Riou Advisor and type the command in the box? If you click on the start ORB, the area should move there.  Whatever it came to the top when you type the name at all?  (slow type, give time to your computer to search for) What other programs are you missing in your computer?  You did it recently any changes to your system? At the volume control it before?

Here's how you can reactivate your volume control

Normally, you can reactivate the items by right-clicking on the taskbar, choosing Properties and going tab Notification area:

  • crashed hard drive / Photo shop elements 7 cannot be reinstalled / license key valid for a single installation

Good day everyone in the Forum!

My hard drive crashed! I can't install my Photo shop elements in my new hard drive. The license key is designed for a single download to one computer. How can I download not only my Elements 7, but as well all my tutorials and training videos. Here's the original videos no copies (I paid for) in 2009 for the College.

YOUR HELP in this matter is greatly appreciated... Penny

    Have a mos beautiful day!

Photoshop Elements 7 can be downloaded through the page linked below:

    http://helpx.Adobe.com/Photoshop-elements/KB/Photoshop-Elements-7-8-9-downloads.html

If this does not work for you, then you can download the demo version of the software through the page linked below and then use your current serial number to activate it.

Don't forget to follow the steps described in the Note: very important Instructions in the section on the pages of this site download and have cookies turned on in your browser, otherwise the download will not work correctly.

Both your tutorials and training videos, you'll probably search that yourself since nobody here is likely to know it than those who have been or where they can be acquired.

  • Accidentally deleted important image and emptied trash.

    Hello

I can't believe I can get this stupid and delete by mistake important moments of my family and empty the trash right afterwards. Is anyway to get them back? I had about 1800 files, of which 90% are videos photos and 10%. Important thing to note here is that I'm using macbook pro with ssd, this isn't a typical hard drive that worries me even more. Given that I just read SSDS erase data immediately and allocates space for reuse. I immediately to foce minutes off my SUST after deletion have not used since.

I want to punch me in the face. They have been all year of memories with my family and the woman. It also includes pictures of vacation am deeply saddened by this situation.

Please let me know if mac has any built-in tool for recovering of ssd? Or any other software that relies on the ground for Mac ssd.

When you delete files on an SSD, they are all GONE.

Buy yourself a large but slow (USB-2 is fine), external hard drive and turn on Time machine. Don't end up in this position again.

  • I accidentally deleted photos a year ago. How to make a comeback?

I deleted accedentally photos a year ago.  How to make a comeback?  I tried to delete a virus in my computer and worked with a security system that was trying to sell me their guard.  He kept interfering with my system with block etc.  In the end I lost photos.  Help

That's why scientists always say "backup your stuff."  Hard 2 TB disks less than $100 USD for a while now.  Drag-and-drop / copy still works paste as a decent (albeit limited) method of backup and set up a scheduled backup to it's easy.  It will not solve your problem - but surely you are is no longer one of those who say, it's never happened before, why should I worry about this... »

    =========================================
No guarantee... but maybe the original file has been archived
    in the following folder:

    C:\Users\%username%\AppData\Local\Microsoft\Windows Gallery\Original photos

If you can't find the path, you will need to 'show hidden files ':

In Windows 7, follow these steps:

Reach... Button start / Control Panel / appearance
and customization / Folder Options / Advanced
settings / display files, folders, and disks / OK
