  Hi, okay so I have a dell inspiron with windows vista 32 bit and I am trying to install windows 7 64 bit, I followed all the instructions and everything works fine until it gets to finish install, after the first reset itstarts completing installation and then I get a blue screen with the 0x000007e error code. I tried to remove ram and installation with only 2 GB, I downloaded a new startup of windows 7 on a flash drive to see if the drive has been courrpt but I got the same error, I also tried to projecting my drive hard and still no luck.   I then installed Windows 7 Professional 32 - bit, re-installed After Effects CS4, copied all video Copilot Evolution and Pro Scores, sound effects designer and Action Movie Essentials to the machine; installed fonts and plugins again.
  
  I tried to start After Effects and open the project; everything was good, he acknowledged that there were 53 of the elements that are not found (not coupled images). However, once it has loaded and it started to load the last composition I had opened (which is be the only big enough with 3-d elements), it would just freeze and become 'unresponsive. '
  
  I tried this several times; no luck.

  The problem seems to be in the publication named "Running". When I tried to open this composition, After Effects has entered an attempt apparently endless to make the first image, using a lot of CPU power, but not a lot of memory to do so. So, this doesn't seem to be a memory problem. I was able to open the composition by pressing the Caps Lock key before doing anything; This tells After Effects to not try to render frames. If I had to troubleshoot this further, I would open this publication, disable all layers and then turn them back on one at a time to see which are the source of the problem.

  I hope that's enough to help you get started.

  BTW, I checked this on Windows Vista 64-bit. I would be really surprised if it had something to do with the specific operating system.

  What is the format of your final work? How are you viewing? What version of Illustrator do you use?

  Here are some common reasons why your type might be missing - is your type completely on the artboard and bleed?

  Is your type on a layer that is set up to print not? Is your white type and position it to overprint?
