• I need help bad please

  I have a Toshiba Satellite L655-S5096 laptop. I had this during about 5 years. I did the recovery media that I burned three discs after that I bought new. I used to work on the computers of friends at the time, and a few times I found myself with a bad virus so I would use the recovery disk to perform the recovery to out of the box. Then one day I went to the recovery and it wouldn't work and the cd player was just spinning and spinning. So I ordered the Toshiba recovery media three of Toshiba, and I was able to use those a few times.

  But until a year or two ago, my cdrive cd has stopped working...

  So my torque questions are:

  1. when I started my laptop last month after having playing with it. At the start, it shows me an error message saying "Invalid Partition Table"... So since my work dosent cd player, I burned a copy of the 'Ultimate Boot Disc' on a new flash drive. I put in the laptop and start in this program. I was looking for something simple to use program which could correct the error. Maybe I missed with something I shouldn't have, but it went to a screen where it says it rebuilding my drive. It is only 3% an hour. So I turned off the laptop and pulled out the flash drive and restarted and it still says "Invalid Partition Table", and now he also says 'Missing operating system '...

  If I don't like to sit on here to try to research on how to fix the errors of 2 hours on how to resolve the errors...

  I have 3 disc Toshiba Recovery Media, but dosent my work cd player...   So is there a program I can run on a laptop to work, to copy my three a new flash drive Toshiba recovery disks, then I would be able to start on the flash player to be able to fix the errors?

  An external DVD drive can be an excellent and good solution market.  However, before you do that, I would have your hard drive tested.  It is likely that is failing or failed.  So you got a new hard drive (maybe $60) and an external DVD.  The test that I don't speak is the tester by the manufacturer of your hard drive.  If you wish, if you send me the model number of the drive, I can tell the manufacturer you and send you a link to the software.

  You must face the reality that a portable 5 year old is approaching its last years, statistically speaking.  Laptops are about half of the life of a desktop PC.  Portable hard drives and DVD players are usually the first things to go.  Then comes the screen and the keyboard.

  We have two PIX 515E firewalls running in HA mode.

  I wanted to set up a telnet access to firewall external interface.

  The PIX version is 6.3 (5)

  I kept the PC outside to outside interfaces.

  PIX outside IP is 10.10.200.3, inside the address IP is 10.10.202.5 corresponding virtual IPs are 10.10.200.2 and 10.10.202.7

  I tried following configurations:

  PIX (config) #telnet 0 0 inside

  PIX (config) #telnet 0 0 outside

  PIX (config) #telnet 10.10.200.0 255.255.255.0 outside

  PIX (config) #telnet 10.10.202.0 255.255.255.0 inside

  PIX (config) #telnet 10.10.200.200 255.255.255.255 outside

  I am able to Telnet to internal interface side use inside ip address.

  But outdoor test pc with IP 10.10.200.200, I'm not able to telnet to PIX.

  I enabled the logging console 5.

  When I tried to telnet to the external virtual IP address, it shows not all traffic at the firewall.

  If I try to the external interface I am able to see the traffic as

  packets received source 10.10.200.200 in 10.10.200.3

  any help in this configuration. I tried telnet test pc firewall.

  Hi Skrao,

  PIX is not the feature to allow telnet from outside everything simply because it's insecurity... the only way to have telnet from outside is having an IPSec tunnel.

  Alternatively, you can access the CLI from the outside by SSH, but you should have something like the following commands:

  Firewall # config t

  FireWall (config) related ca rsa

  FireWall (config) # AC product key 1024 rsa

  FireWall (config) # ssh the_ssh_IP 255.255.255.255 outside

  FireWall (config) ca save all

  You will use a client like SecurCRT or PuTTY SSH...

• Need help bad

  My silver 8GB sanza fuse had a few problems recently. It froze about 1.5 weeks ago, so I reset it, that's when the problems started. They include the following.

  (1) I put new music on it, and when I unplug my computer and check my music list, duplicates of EACH song will appear.

  (2) after having covered an album, the fuse decides to jump in front of all the other songs, just play to those recently added album.

  (3) after you remove all the new songs, the fuse does not play any song and seems to go to the ends of the albums as if random playback. It is still stuck on pause.

  If someone could help me to the understanding how I screwed this thing up I'd really appreciate it. Thank you and have a nice day.

  Assuming that you have copies of all your music on your pc and you do not use copyrighted music, then format the drive by using the menu of the player (settings, system settings, format). This will remove all files on the drive.

  If there is a card in the reader, remove all the songs on it. Set the usb mode of the player to msc (settings, system settings, msc). Connect the drive to the computer. Use Windows Explorer (right-click Start, click Explore) to copy and paste songs or folders of songs to the player. Start the connected Windows media without your Rocket Player. Make sure it is not set to automatically synchronize with your player. IMO you should never synchronize your drive and just copy - paste or delete the exploring windows help files (assuming that there are no protected file). If you have protected files, then you should put the reader usb MTP mode and allows you to copy them manually to the Windows Media player player). IMO, we should never synchronize.

  I need your help on how to implement a configuration of VLAN somehow non-standard.

  The situation is the following:

  The customer wants a WLAN set up for the company and the other for guests. Now, wouldn't that be not so difficult if we'd be using the internal internet connection. But the WRVS4400N will be used to implement wireless LANs / VLAN only.

  The company uses the DHCP protocol on both of their subnets, provided by a Watchguard Firebox XTM510.

  

  Now, what we would do is set up the back door #1 for the connection to the subnet of the client and the #2 for the connection to the optional subnet for the guests. The first problem is that we were not able to configure DHCP forwards to the VLAN2. It works very well on the 1st but the 2nd doesn't allow that either ENabled or disabled, grayed out DHCP.

  To work around the problem that he would be allowed to set up DHCP WRVS4400N providing in itself for the subnet invited, but try that didn't work at all.

  I went through a few weeks of effort with it and seeking a

  final solution... I have an i7 Mini - 2012 model.  Two identical

  Acer S241HL LED monitors.  I need the same video display DVI on both

  screens.  A single monitor, close proximity to the Mini... about 1-2 feet...

  The other over a distance of 25 feet.

  It worked with a HDMI > DVI adapter to a Tripp Lite DVI splitter

  For more than a year... then became intermittent.  I tried a different separator,

  an Auralek - it worked fine about a week and then stopped.  Looks like

  period of time where the computer or monitors have been turned off and then

  When you set up the pins as inputs, you can read 0 or 5 volts. It makes no sense to set then high or low. No PIN disconnected feel of course a logic 1 because of pull-ups on the device.

  Two problems: there is no Windows 8 and even if there were, Windows XP Home Edition would not not 'manage '.  ;-)

  I drop McAfee for a few different freeware products.  Or better yet I'd get two products 'cost' (~ 25 and 60 dollars) and install them and use them in the future - but WHEN you are trying to clean up.

  You seem like you maybe sincerely - at a time when a format/install of Windows XP/patching/installation of applications/patch/restore backups of your data is the best course of action.

  However, if you are willing to work - maybe we can at least get things cleaned up to a certain point where you can get a good backup before doing this (otherwise avoid doing all together.)

  In the order shown, do not jump (no matter what you do, what you have done in the past, etc.) ...

  First of all - download, install, operate and put to update and then run a full system scan with the following two (one at a time, reboot in-between):

  • MalwareBytes (FREE)
  • SuperAntiSpyware (FREE)

  After you perform a full scan with one then the other and remove anything they have all two are completely, you can uninstall these products, if you wish.  This initiative will allow to check there is no malware floating around your system which could cause problems.  If you ask - no, Norton probably does not protect you from what these applications can find.

  Download and run the MSRT tool manually:
