Help? "Benchmarks in Acrobat crop."

Hello

I need to print a file in PDF via Acrobat illustrator... I crop marks on my file, but they do not show in Acrobat.  I'm sure I'm doing something stupid, but I'd like to know what.  I tried to export the file, but it does give me an option of pdf.  I'll eventually send the file to a 'real' printer, who does not have to crop marks, but I do... and I'd love to know how to keep them.

    You know the password? Otherwise, the security policy does not allow adding comments in the file, then there is nothing you can do about it.

    Hello!  Adobe Chat Help Desk directed me here to get help to reinstall Acrobat 8 Standard on a new PC with Windows 10.

    Whenever I tried to install it, after entering the serial number string, I kept getting the error messages like "...". cannot locate or not valid serial number (it is not disabled).

    Any help would be appreciated.  Thank you very much!  John

    First Acrobat 8 standard is no longer available because it is quite a stale version.

    Second even if you get the download link for somewhere you wouldn't be able to use it with the latest version 10 of Windows because it is not a compatible version.

    Only Acrobat DC and XI are tried and tested versions with Windows 10.

  • Need help to install Acrobat XI student and Teacher Edition Windows Vista

    Hello

    After spending the best part of two evenings trying to install this product, I'm at my wit's end.  I purchased as a download from Amazon and the cost is nonrefundable, so if I can't get it running I basically lost £76!  I would really appreciate the help.

    My OS is Windows Vista.  I am trying to install this on my C drive, which has 17.6 GB of space.

    Download the product from Amazon is no problem, but when I come to install I get the following message:

    "Adobe Application Manager, needed to verify your license is missing or damaged.  Please download a copy of Adobe Application Manager of http://www.adobe.com/go/applicationmanager " "

    When I downloaded the Manager, I get a message to download Adobe Support Advisor.  This gives the following error messages:

    The installation program "cpsid_82829s1: a reboot is pending", the bootstrapper error has occurred.

    When I click on the link to corrective action this basically tells me to reboot after I found and deleted the InProgressKey.  However, the InProgressKey is not found, and no amount of restarting solves the problem.

    I tried an uninstall (so I could reinstall to see if that solved the problem), but which gives the message:

    "Error 1321.  The installer has sufficient privileges to modify the file C:\Program Files\Fichiers Files\Adobe\HelpCfg\en_US\Acrobat_Pro.helpcfg"

    When I tried to manually delete this file I "Access denied folder - you need permission to perform this action."

    (I am the administrator on that computer).

    I downloaded the Adobe clean uninstall tool (I forgot what it's called), uninstall has been successful using this tool, I did another reboot and then downloaded again the product from Amazon - but the same problems occurred as described above.

    I'm just going along in circles here and not do anywhere.  Any help would be sincerely appreciated.

    Acrobat is not supported in Windows Vista. Please find the tech specs: http://www.adobe.com/in/products/acrobatpro/tech-specs.html and upgrade to the correct version of Windows.

    I just bought the last Adobe Acrobat XI Standard.

    I put in the serial key number but my computer tells me that calling a product is not found on my computer so I can not use the adobe product. So now I can't open any file or attach PDFs to emails without this message coming. I uninstalled the "Adobe Acrobat XI Standard twice! with no luck.

    I need it sorted as soon as possible because I'm working! Any suggestions?

    DotBellaParis if you are prompted for a product calling it so it would seem that you purchased an upgrade to Acrobat Standard XI.  You should have the option to enter the serial number of your previous purchase of Acrobat.  You can find information on how to locate your previous issues of the series at http://forums.adobe.com/message/3987968#3987968?promoid=KBHJW.

    If you did not intend to buy an upgrade, then I recommend to submit a return request.  You can find more information on the presentation of a return to the return, cancel, or Exchange an Adobe order - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/policy-pricing/return-cancel-or-change-order.html.  Once you have returned the upgrade you can then buy the full version which will not ask you for an eligible product or a serial number.

I downloaded the Acro Pro XI installation package three times from Adobe, time after the purchase (which seems to be a separate download process) and as a trial download using the Adobe download install program... Different sites, different methods. Manually installed twicw, allowed the download of Adobe install twice and installed on two different computers. Eash time, the opening sequence and various other pages/windows are in Swedish, not English. During the installation, English is chosen each time... These Swedish screens include various web links in Swedish and "local" screens I have ten screenshots of Swedish screens. I spent 2 hours with a technical support, try a variety of bugs, including repair.modify, uninstall re - install and uninstall and re - download, install: all to nothing does not. WTF?

    Any ideas?

    Please try this:

    1) go to Control Panel - Add Remove programs

    (2) select Acrobat XI. Click on 'change '.

    3) click "next". Select 'change '. Click "next".

    4) click on the plus sign for the icon 'languages '.

    (5) remove all languages other than English and click on 'Next' and then click on "Update".

    Please let me know if it works or not.

    Yes.  It's exactly what I told you in the _identical_ of _other_ thread that you started with this question.  It's just one of the reasons why it isn't a good idea to start multiple threads.  I locked this thread, but one of the other moderators of the forum has been deleted.

    I just installed Acrobat Pro 11.  I try to open the application.  He starts to then gives me a message that says 'closed unexpectedly Acrobat"followed a long report sent to Apple.  I use a Macbook Pro with OS Yosemite v10.10.1.  Any idea?

    Thank you, Sabian.  It was a permissions problem. I discovered that I had to download the app again from the site in order to re - install instead of a copy on my computer.
