Given your situation, I recommend first this method... from a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

    My Blackberry "BOLD" is stuck in a continuous loop of "App Error 200, reset.

    I tried both solutions listed here (connect to downloader and reload the software), but the buttons 'clear all' are grayed out.

    I tried with and without the battery, always had the same problem, so I thought I would delete applications I could and see what would happen (mostly games and docs on things go - couldn't do anything with the email app and didn't see the main application).

    After the removal of those who, it goes right in a loop without end of error app 200 and the application loader is unable to connect to the device more.  So it seems I have a brick on my hands.  How do I reset this thing so I can get past this problem?  The instructions say to make disappear your blackberry until the completed application loader, but it was 20 minutes, try to connect now and nothing has changed...

    For what it's worth, when I have quand j' ai essaye tried battery approach towards the downloader app, the PIN has not come through, it was zero either unknown, or simply.

    Any help would be most appreciated!  If there is a way to do a hard reset, that would be great, maybe then I can make it work.

    Try this

    1. remove the battery and LEAVE IT OUT
    2. open the Blackberry Desktop Manager
    3. click on Application Loader and choose software update
    4. connect your Blackberry with the battery still OUT
    5. If prompted, enter your password/PIN
    6. If several operating systems listed, choose the one who preferred next to him (if yo are rememmber what caused your error delete here, by highlighting the application and click on remove, let uncheck)

    7. let the update run without battery
    8. when it says waiting for initialization, it will attempt to restart. At this point, you will need to insert your battery or it will show the icon of the battery with red line through it. If this icon is present, simply insert your battery and the phone will restart again
    9 keep the software up-to-date

    I have a Bold 9900 IE error app 200 reset. Ive tried many things even through some of the forums to find a solution, but none of them helped me. Ive tried several different things to take out the battery, try to boot in safe mod (doesn't let me same), OS, downgrading the OS upgrade. Even to the point where I downloaded a program called 'BMSAK' to wipe the phone and reinstall the OS. After the failure of the phone, it displays an error 507 reload software, which means put an OS, so I did then the App error 200 has reappeared.

    I don't like what's happening to my phone data, I want to just my phone in working condition.

    I found a solution. It fixes several of my 9900 and a Curve 8300.  hope this helps someone.

    1. connect the BlackBerry to the computer via a USB cable.

    2. open the file loader.exe c:\program files\common files\ apploader

    3. click through the application loader to start the loading process (don't check no back ups)

    4. once the loading process reaches this step 3, remove the battery from the BlackBerry to force an error App error 507.

    After that the phone starts with a 507 error, follow the steps listed in:

    After perfmorming the factory reset when it starts up (loading bar) check for updates for your device VIA Online

    Constantly received instructions to update for the software device/requirements, even if the device had been updated before with these updates. Hoping to avoid continuous requests to update the phone software, I went through the update phone software and "out-clicked" list items that were clearly not necessary (Hebrew, Norweigan etc.) and then the phone went into the screen "App Error 200 (reset).  I looked through all the reset options, including the removal of the battery and Alt/Ctrl and the led, but nothing works.  I have applications loaded on the phone too (garmin, etc.), but am willing to perform a complete reset (other form) in order to get the phone after «App Error 200» display (reset)  Tried all activities with the Device Manager, but nothing helps, phone not connected but Device Manager tries to continue his search when the phone is on the screen "App Error 200 (reset)", it is just stuck there - help!

    Unfortunately, your brief report, I can't say for sure exactly what you have tried... for example:

Remember that we cannot see you, we cannot see your computer, we cannot see your device... we have only your words here to guide us to understand your situation, and understanding is the natural condition to prove a useful aid.

    Nevertheless, I will take a guess...

    (1) make sure that you have a current backup and your BB complete... you can find the instructions at the link in my auto-sig below. (You probably will not be able to do it... with error, it is likely your data has already disappeared from your device, which means that a prior backup is what you need to restore from after you resolve this problem.)

    2) uninstall all the BB OS packages from your PC,

    (3) make sure you have the BB Desktop Software already installed

    (4) download and install on your computer, the BB OS package you want:

    • If all you want are the levels of BONE, it is first sorted by carrier - the carrier supports, your search will be fast. However, some carriers are much slower than others to release updates. To really get the package up-to-date OS for your BB, you need to dig through and find all businesses that support your specific model BB and then compare the BONE levels they support.

    5) remove all copies of the SELLER on your PC. XML... There will be at least one and maybe 2, and they will be located in the same way or to (it changes based on your version of Windows) these files:

    • C:\Program Files (x 86) \Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    • C:\Users\(your Windows username) \AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML

    Re-try now whatever it was you were trying before.

    (2) on your PC, go to start > run and copy and paste the following line exactly (i.e. with quotation marks):

    'c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader\loader.exe' /nojvm

    (3) the Application Loader Wizard will appear - click on "next".

    (4) in the ' connection: ' drop-down menu, you should see "USB - PIN: UNKNOWN". Click on the button "next".

    (5) you should see a list of applications ready to be installed for your Blackberry. Press Next and finish, and that you are well on your way to get your Blackberry to life. Congratulations! Just unplug and let the process finish completely.

    NOTE: If you do not display the list of applications mentioned in step 5 and instead to see the message "the Blackberry Desktop Software has no Blackberry Device Software for the device you have connected to the computer. Contact your wireless service provider or system administrator', then you must download the Blackberry operating system for your support and your device.

    Please use the following steps to reload your software:

    Download an application on your computer called BBSAK (BlackBerry Swiss Army Knife). You use it to wipe the operating system of your device. You can get it here: www.bbsak.org

    Download the latest OS for your device, you can get here. https://swdownloads.BlackBerry.com/downloads/entry.do?code=9461CCE28EBE3E76FB4B931C35A169B0

    Connect your device to your PC and start BBSAK. It will ask you a password. If you don't have a game for your device, simply click OK.

    Choose the option to wipe device. Once completed, you will be left with a blank screen and an app 507 error, which means that the wipe has been a success.

    Unplug your unit.

    On your PC, navigate to C:\Program Files\Common research in Motion\AppLoader. Delete the file in the lower part called vendor.xml.

    Connect your device.

    In this same folder as shown above, there is an executable file called Loader (has a small telephone next to him). Double click on that and it will start loading your OS.
