  I changed the theme on my BB and now I get App Error 523 with Reset as the only option.  I did a hard reset, removed the SIM card, tried to connect it to my computer, but nothing so far has allowed me to go back to the old slogan, or even do anything.  Any help is appreciated more.

  My Blackberry "BOLD" is stuck in a continuous loop of "App Error 200, reset.

  I tried both solutions listed here (connect to downloader and reload the software), but the buttons 'clear all' are grayed out.

  I tried with and without the battery, always had the same problem, so I thought I would delete applications I could and see what would happen (mostly games and docs on things go - couldn't do anything with the email app and didn't see the main application).

  After the removal of those who, it goes right in a loop without end of error app 200 and the application loader is unable to connect to the device more.  So it seems I have a brick on my hands.  How do I reset this thing so I can get past this problem?  The instructions say to make disappear your blackberry until the completed application loader, but it was 20 minutes, try to connect now and nothing has changed...

  For what it's worth, when I have quand j' ai essaye tried battery approach towards the downloader app, the PIN has not come through, it was zero either unknown, or simply.

  Given your situation, I recommend first this method... from a PC, you can install any bundle of BONES to a BB via this procedure:

  Note that although written for "reload", it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or recharge - it depends on the OS package you download and install on your PC. You can even use a different OS package carriers simply insert, between steps 1 and 2, the deletion, on your PC, a file named PROVIDER. XML. remember that you remove from your PC, no matter what other packages devices OS BB as having more than one installed on the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.

  If you are on a MAC, you are limited to only your sanctioned carriers OS packages... but can still use any level they currently have to sanction. See this procedure:

  I've just upgraded to the BlackBerry Desktop SW 4.7 470_b059_multilanguage.exe and, after step 9 step 10 pending device comes even once (don't remember the name of the step) on my device appears "App Error 523", even after the battery is removed. Please help me.

  How I solved it:

  1. I opened my computer and navigate to c:\program files\common research in motion\apploader

  2. open the loader.exe program

  3. remove my battery

  4. run the Wizard (erase the "surreal" theme and only backup), until its complete

  5. close the wizard

  6 restart loader.exe

  The JVM error indicates there is an incompatibility of binary java (if remember correctly), but the problem is easily solved in Os reload.

  But try first start secure by removing battery and press and hold the "back" button and reinsert the battery while the key is pressed, when the bar reached release quarter way loading the previous key.

  If it boots successfully remove the 3rd party app and restart normally.

  If it does not reload the Os.

  1. open the bb desktop software

  2 remove the battery from your bb phone 3. connect the phone BB to the computer without the battery

  4. the bb desktop software will give you the error msg bb software cannot communicate with the device

  5. click on update. the bb desktop software will check for device software available bb. Note: If the bb phone has a password a prompt to enter at this stage.

  6. Enter an email address or uncheck the option for e-mail when new versions are available.

  7. click on install update

  8. a pop-up window will be displayed indicating when you have finished the unit must be activated with the wireless network. without disconnecting the device from the computer, put the battery back in the device, and then click ok. Note: If you miss the opportunity to put the battery in the phone bb at the appropriate stage, and the upgrade fails, click on 'Retry '. If it continues to fail, please repeat the process. Note: once the upgrade is complete your bb phone will take probably 20 to 30 minutes to restart. It is a normal behavior.

  9. a message appears to indicate that your software update is 10. Click Close.

  Please note that helped me to consider to the jvm error 517... This I learned from the CB forum where a RIM employee recommends this method regarding this error. This method begins with NO battery inserted at the beginning of the charging, but inserted later.

  Seeing that you have JVM 523, it might still work.

  OK, I was looking for the forums and try the suggestions and I didn't chance... what I did my problem is compounded.

  One of my drivers brought me a phone this morning that says "App error 523" it is unclear what he does for her, I have recognized this fact and knew what he had to do... JL_Cmder wipe and reload the software. When I went for it, it doesn't look good... it doesn't seem like he was wiping, I thought that maybe it couldn't connect because it was stuck on the screen of 523 error and that maybe if I reset the phone it would connect until the error came back to the top, so I reset it. Apparently that's what I did wrong, because then my Office Manager and JL_Cmder both couldn't read and I think that this is the error Reload Software 507 came. So now, I have a phone that program may seem to do anything with nor can they connect to him. I don't have administrator privledges on my computer and my office mgr also decided at that time that he would tell me he could not upload/upgrade at software level until the 6.0 upgrade has been done, so I had to wait my next computer work and disconnect me, so he could log on my computer and get better. I was hoping that the upgrade to the blackberry desktop mgr would help, but it didn't. It does not recognize the device connected to my computer, Yes, I am using a USB port on the front, the same USB port I used on all my phones for several years now. I tried to paste this into the command run thingy (I don't know what it's called I'm really not all that sophisticated computer sorry) "c:\program files\common search motion\apploader\loader.exe" /nojvm and it recognize not a device either so it happened not the case. I tried a bunch of links to all these pages that you have, but nothing works. I saw something on the execution of an order on JL_Cmder but I can't figure out how, I clicked on #6 use order online because I thought that was that, but it came with a Notepad and I don't know what to do with it.   OK, so it turned out to be the fault of fund managers... as soon as I uninstalled and reinstalled, I plugged the phone on him and he immediately offered to give me the software, I just reinstalled the operating system without a hitch. All phones are now detected and connected when plugged into my computer once again, although I spent a whole day of work aggravated that at least now I know for future reference when the Office Manager has another update. • Smartphone App Error 523 - RESET 8320 blackBerry curve - HELP!

  My wife and I have the Curve 8320.  We just loaded new firmware (4.5?).  Since the new software update reset back to the default theme, my wife has changed its theme innocently back to the surreal theme.  As the surreal theme loaded, this nasty, good for nothing, error pops up.  It is simply written on a screen that will not be extinguished: "App Error 523".  Then it will highlight "RESET" which is the only option given (even when the battery was fired).  I thought that his problem was unique until I reproduced the exact same error on my curve.  Now we're both without phones and the RESET option on this error has no value.  The two phone are completely disabled.  Any suggestions?

  Problem solved!  I downloaded the T-Mobile version of the upgrade (desktop and laptop) and everything is back to life.

  I have a 8330 on Verizon and about 2 weeks, I received the "app error: 523. I tried to delete applications and restarting it but none of it worked because I couldn't get to the phone. I could not even save my data and contacts. I was forced to enter the password incorrectly and wipe everything that my phone is off. I then reinstalled the operating system and everything was fine. I recently started having my contacts and everything new, but when I rebooted, it tonight, I got message again. It's very frustrating! I don't have a lot of apps at all (Google maps, google talk, facebook, etc.) Can someone please give me an idea? Will I still have to deal with? Any help is greatly appreciated!
