• HELP function - new VI doesn't seem to work in built Application

  My Application is designed to coordinate several separate test (16) of control stations. Test stations can operate independently. I have a Test Manager application that starts the execution independently Test Runner live when the user has selected a test to be performed and the conditions to run with. There may be 0 to 16 Test Runner screws running at any given time. Each Test Runner VI uses the same model code of Test Runner.VI but is given a unique name based on a randomly generated GUID. I use a sequence of the function again, VI, VI. FP. Open and VI. Run VI to create the VI based on the template, give it a unique name and then launch it to run independently. Fragment JPG see attached.

  This design works perfectly well when it is used in the LabView 2010 development environment. But it does not work when I build the Test Manager as an EXE application. There is no errors generated, but the new VI is not launched, and I think that one of the functions of the sequence never returns. I don't know if the new VI is created or not.

  Does anyone know how to change this option so that the screws news can be created, unique, named and launched, it will work properly, regardless of if the creation VI runs either development (for debugging) or as a built application?

  Because of the sequence of the new VI, VI. FP. Open and VI. Pass the VI when used in a built application? Is there another method that will strive to meet this need?

  'New VI' is scripting.  It is blue. Scripting is explicitly not accessible at run time.

  what you want is 'Open VI référence' on a VI that is configured for the execution of reentry, with appropriate options defined in the properties of the VI and wired at the entrance to the REF VI open node Options (you want to 0x08 to returning with placeholders for data).  You can use a .lives, but this is not what they are for.

  Take the time to read the help file for reference VI open, it'll be worth it.

  Hi Colin,

  The simple answer is that you use a current restore point.  It may or may not be a box on the screen that should be checked to show more than 5 days, points of restoration (depending on your version of Windows).  Then you select either the 21/08/11 if there is one closest prior to that (if it exists).

  When you create a restore point you create one for the computer as it exists now.  It cannot create one for a date in the past.  Either you have a course available, you will need to use another that always meets your needs or it can be done.

  Because you are cloning to an empty layer, you will need to change the clone of current and current option below or all layers.

  You can try to uninstall the keyboard in the Device Manager

  On Vista, Windows DVD Maker requires that you have Windows Vista Home Premium or Windows Vista Ultimate Edition.  If you have one of these versions, you should already have Windows DVD Maker and Windows Movie Maker 6.0.  These versions of Windows Vista are required to have copies under license from MPEG-2 to make a video DVD.

  I was not aware of a separate installer for Windows DVD Maker, so I suspect you look at something of a 3rd site part. If it is a Microsoft site, can provide you the address you use?

• Scaling of object doesn't seem to work properly with objects that contain Bézier curves

  I created a closed object which had a Bezier curve as part of its definition. I wanted to scale of 110% and then to use this second object expanded to create a sort of background under the first object to create a sort of a shadow effect. But rather that the second purpose being uniformly superior to the first intersection with the original object in a way that does not make sense to me.

  Is there a more easy/different way to create an effect like that? I can do but have to manually adjust a large number of points in the new object so that they create a uniformly larger version of the original object, but it's a lot of effort for something that works very well for regular polygons with straight lines (for example, a star with 5 points).

  PS - I've attached a picture of what I get with this technique to create two examples of two objects, one a 110% of the other version. The first star shows the effect I'm trying to get, and the second shows the problem (the red border around not the black object evenly around the perimeter)

  When I use one of the methods of the float of compensation for a parent container that has other elements floating inside, it seems to work fine in FF and IE. But it shows never correctly in DW Design view. Instead, he just keeps showing the parent container is collapsed.

  Many browsers have their own PDF plugins now that are used by default, and are unfortunately very bugs, especially when it comes to scripts and form fields. There is nothing much we can do about it, except for sending complaints to the manufacturers of these plugins and ask your users to avoid their use by saving the file and open it in Adobe Reader (or Acrobat) directly instead of inside the browser window.

DIV 2 (a flat background color), I want outside of the main envelope, so it extends from edge to edge of the (perfectly adapted) screen. DIV 2 must also be placed completely behind DIV 1 so that the background color corresponds to what lies behind the content of the DIV 1. I have everything in place, but 2 DIV is stackable in DIV 1.  ~ From what I've read, it seems that I have to add an absolute position in the #2 DIV... But how can they relate if DIV 2 is outside most "pregnant"?

  Can be a way to combine the two rules effectively?
