• Help! Can not update Windows 7.

  I examined the various knowledge base articles and downloaded the troubleshooting and updating tool.  I also tried to download the update to download windows script and the following things happened:

  -Hang facilities

  -run the update script gets "access denied."

  I must have spent all day trying to get MS. updates  I even changed the DNS to 8.8.4.4 because I heard that there may be problems with the Time Warner network connection.

  I came to a point where I don't know what else to do...

  I've never had this problem before.

  Microsoft made a big mess of Windows Update!  Obviously, Windows 7 owners receive a low priority.  This happened 6 months now.  WU can take many hours.  In most cases, PATIENCE is the best tool.  A lot of people stop at Midway WU after a few hours, assuming it is broken.  Then take all kinds of measures to try to "fix".  In most cases, it is not broken.  In many cases the 'fixing' problems that didn't have to be there.

  In addition to this, as you can read about it in the statutes of Woody Leonhard, Microsoft has been releasing a lot of bad updates that are not tested and cause countless problems.

  The advice I give to my clients is to assign WU to NEVER, run it manually once per month and hide any update is optional, or unqualified security.  More simply, only install the security updates.

  Microsoft has not released an update to Windows 7, which was not helpful to Win7 overall of 2015.   I don't expect everything.   All security updates are not or are optional are tools to help Microsoft to turn your computer into what she wants it to be and help them spy on how you use your computer.

  Due to the lack of granularity with customer WU, is it possible to automate the application of patches in a hierarchical format?  In other words, we have a server pool 'test' (50), a 'QA' server pool (50) and a pool of servers 'Production' (50).  We want to apply all the patches published by MS on the servers to 'test' the first week, they are released, apply them to the second pool or QA servers, the second week, and the third pool on the third week as they are released. It seems that we are only allowed to run on a specific day of the week.  It is a problem give required server uptime. Although MS releases security patches, the second Tuesday of the month, we met the issues where servers apply patches and reboot your system with an unexpected schedule (no second Tuesday).

  I tried various possible solutions I can think which included our own Windows Update Server, tinkering with Group Policy objects, and all require a certain level of intervention or simply we did not allow the granularity (for as far as I can see) to overcome this obstacle.

• the boiler sequence on approx. help how can I update the cached sequence

  my institution purchased an application from a vendor where demand is cached in the sequence oracle '20' from what I've read the request is essentially updated the sequence after 20 sequences have been used I read on the forums that cache oracle sets essentially a min - max for the sequence and when it reaches the max then updates the sequence on the database. now my problem is that I'm trying to load a table that uses this sequence, but I need to update the sequence in the cache, so I don't get a constraint on the database. Anyone know how to do this?... Im very confused with this concept of cache that is not accessible.

  I can't update "windows" or "windows defender". Followed the steps described by Microsoft help, tried to download manually, have asked Microsoft to help (no response yet) these first two things didn't work.   Nobody knows what happens here? why I'm having these problems all of a sudden? I do nothing but send E-mails and read my emails and I do not browse the internet or enter sites that are safer. So, what can I do? How to make everything return to normal? can someone help me with this?
  Also let me tell you right now, I'm not an expert on how to do things on the computer, so I'm scitish when it receives or sounds complicated. I don't want to lose my entire system because of these unfortenate none of the work programmes.

  I would recommend that we run a SFC (System File Checker) first scan to see what he finds. Try this:

  1. click on START
  2 type "msconfig" (without the quotes) and press enter
