  I encounter this problem with a fresh install of CS6.

  CS6 Design and Web Premium installed on Win 7 pro 64-bit Dell Precision laptop. Error with cs6 Adobe Bridge: "CS6 Adobe Bridge has stopped working", the "APPCRASH" problem event name Error occurs when the opening of Bridge of Photoshop and other applications (Browse in Bridge) and directly in the menu desktop computer or boot.   There seems to be several possible causes for this error. In my case it was a bit specific. I had a copy of stand alone on this same machine previously software Adobe Photoshop CS2 (only) that has been completely uninstalled before the installation of the CS6. There is a problem with Bridge CS6 being installed on a computer that has Bridge CS2 on it. I was not aware of the bridge being present with my copy of Photoshop CS2, but apparently there is at least some components of the Bridge CS2 left after uninstalling. The workaround solution that solved the problem for me has been the creation of an empty folder:

  C:\Users\[your username] \AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Bridge CS2

  clean race 2 disks)

  (3) Windows Update and make sure last Pack of Service was installed

  Run disk check 4)

  I have a Satellite 5100 503 and was really satisfied until yesterday.
  Now it has stopped working.
  What I did: closed the laptop after work (everything is ok) and it only stems for a while. When I opened the laptop again to continue working, nothing happened.
  Only the small frontdisplay showed me a spinning CD (no CD inserted) and battery light. After pressing the button on the sur-signe appeared, but nothing happened again. By pressing the button again (a few seconds), do go away on-sign. No display, no fan, no noise of hard disk in any case (ono/stop). Insert an audio CD and works by pessing the play button! Soundsystem works well.

  Does anyone have an idea what could be the problem?
