  • 8 GB of RAM for DV4-2045DX memory: 8 GB RAM Chip Notch does not fit HP Pavilion DV4 - 2045DX Entertainment Notebook

    Sir/Madam,

Hello. My laptop is HP Pavilion DV4-2045DX Entertainment Notebook with 4 GB of memory which is 2 coins in 2 locations inside the machine.

Because 4 GB of RAM is not enough to run my system now, I need to upgrade the memory of 8 GB that is 2 chips with 4GB RAM each in 2 slots.

I bought RAM 8 GB chips online ordering
    http://www.seifelden.com/8gb-2x4GB-memory-RAM-for-HP-Pavilion-dv4-2045dx-laptop-memory.html?fee=39&f... .

    Item number: SoDimm_DDR3_2X4GB_B3377

After I pulled out the existing RAM chips, I tried to put the new RAM 8 GB chips in 2 slots, but it does not fit the slot. The detail is that the size of the entire chip is shaped, but the notch on the long side of the upper part does not fit the clip into the machine.

I tried to move clip to match the notch in the RAM chip, but the clip cannot be moved. I guess that there is a mechanism to adjust the clip to match the notch in the RAM chip, but I don't know how to do it.

    My question is:
Could you please check why the 8 GB RAM chips do not have HP Pavilion DV4 - 2045DX Entertainment Notebook?

How to adjust the clip to match the notch in the RAM 8 GB chip?

    Thanks in advance.

It of still expensive but a little more like it:

  • I NEED ALL DRIVERS OF SYSTEM FOR HP G72 262NR WHO GAVE ME

Please help me. They GAVE me a laptop of HP G72-262NR. Initially, it came with Windows 7 Home Premium OS on it. The people who gave me the laptop makes NO system recovery disk or all backups before they upgraded to Windows 10.  I tried to restore to factory settings to remove the info from the Lady and after 24 hours to 'restore' the power went off and then when I turned on the computer laptop back, there was no operating system found and no partitian recovery.  Since it came originally with the Windows 7 Home Prem OA preinstalled when purchased, I was able to get a Windows 7 Home Premium 64 bit installation disc. I got support and of course the system recovery went. Nothing. So I've been told by a friend IT that I needed to go to the HP support site and download the drivers on my desktop HP Pavilion Elite HPE-500y big PC which had the Windows 7 OS that came on it and has been upgraded to Windows 10.  So when I go to the support website, enter the laptop HP G72-262NR model and try to download the drivers so I can burn it to disc then install on the laptop, it gives my Info for my desktop PC-HPE-500y.  Now, I was able to get the info on my phone but I can not download on my phone. So, how can I know what drivers are needed and download them and then burn it to a CD so I can download them on the laptop of HP G72-262NR so it works on my desktop pc. I can't configure WiFi or anything on the laptop. I'm a great model when it comes to computers and my problem is that I have NO SILVER to take everyone. I got friends try to help me nothing does not.    And if it is impossible to download the info system of the notebook for the downloaded drivers on my desktop, it is possible to get the recovery disc HP for laptop HP G72-262NR system and what is the prayer of cost?  Thank you.  And who would set even the question. I know it's 6 years so is it useful to play with. Thank you for any assistance.

  • Please help me with the DRIVERS. [HP pavilion dv900/dv9500/dv9605ea]

    Right. Hello guys!

I did a downgrade, and while the XP installation went well. I can't get the correct drivers necessary.

Looking at the HP computer, it says "HP Pavilion dv9000"on the upper right side of the screen. However, on the underside of the laptop if there is the following information:

    "Product: HP pavilion dv9500 .

    Serial number XXXX XXX x

    P/n 959EA #ABU GZ

    "Maintain the label: dv9605ea"

I tried all the drivers for each of these sets, but they all seem to be evil.

In the Device Manager, all deivces in 'Other devices' do not work - I know that this is due to the lack of driver. [Audio processor co, ethernet controller, devide bus High definition Audio, device modem on high definition audio, sm bus controller and video controller bus]

Now my question is this - where can I get the right drivers I am after please? What model number is also my pc exactly?

Moreover, mine comes with an Amd 64 athlon X 2 and Nvidia graphics [driver for Nvidia graphics required too please]

I would appreciate your help please. I didn't know that decommissioning will be this much pain.

    Thank you.

    Laptop = Satellite Pro A300
    Platform = Visa PS2

In my device manager, I have two errors.

Under "Other devices", mean "Base system device".
Under the heading hardware ID, one says:

    PCI VEN_1180 & DEV_0592 & SUBSYS_FF1C1179 & REV_12
    PCI VEN_1180 & DEV_0592 & SUBSYS_FF1C1179

    PCI VEN_1180 & DEV_0592 & CC_0880

    The second says:
    PCI VEN_1180 & DEV_0843 & SUBSYS_FF1C1179 & REV_12
    PCI VEN_1180 & DEV_0843 & SUBSYS_FF1C1179
    PCI VEN_1180 & DEV_0843 & CC_088000
    PCI VEN_1180 & DEV_0843 & CC_0880

I believe it has something to do with my card reader.
Can someone direct me to the right web site, use the drivers?

    Here's a nice page:
    http://www.PCIDatabase.com/

You can find the details of PCI devices.
    FRI means seller
    DEV: device

    FRI 1180 = Ricoh
DEV 0592 = Ricoh Memory Stick Controller

So the case is clear: he controller s card reader.

    I recommend reinstalling the driver.

  • HP dx2000MT helps (PL094ET) with usb drivers

I installed Windows 2000 Professional on an old pc, a hp sx2000 MT (Pentium 4 2.8)

I found drivers on the hp support site if it is not too explicitly Windows 2000 drivers.

Now to research in the management of the material, I found a device without driver: USB controller

I have seen that usb works the same, but I wonder if it is possible to find this driver for Windows 2000.

When installing on the Windows XP computer on usb controller group there are different:

Intel (r) 82801EB USB Universal Host Controller

I thought that this kindf of the drivers could be included in the chipset driver install (from hp site ant of the Intel site), but it seems not...

    Any suggestion?

    Hello:

So that the controller USB to work, you must have W2K SP4 installed. Nothing less that this will not work.

The problem is that your USB ports are v2.0 and W2K had no support for USB 2.0 up to that SP4 is released.

Once you install SP4, your USB ports should work after you click the controller in Device Manager, click the driver tab click Update driver and select Auto search.

It's been years since I played with W2K, but I'm sure that's what you need to do.

If you have already installed Service Pack 4, then you just need to do the last step.

Please see this MS support article on the link below and you should be able to get your USB ports to work.

Here are all the drivers for 64 bit Vista system your to your model. They must also work under Win7.

If you have installed the official HP Win7 driver wait until October 22. They must be released up to that time.

Alternatively, you can install a driver with Windows update. All the information about it here or just look for drivers on your sites of hardware vendors.

There are two types of notifications of compatibility in the compatibility check update Win7 - "HardBlock" and "SoftBlock".

"HardBlock" - SW MUST be uninstalled before upgrade can continue (or actions that must be taken-as a reboot in some cases). The only option is to cancel the upgrade and take the necessary measures

"SoftBlock" - SW which might have problems after upgrading and which could be recommended to uninstall. You can continue the upgrade process, even if you have these notifications without no action (the report will be placed on the desktop for once you have upgraded to Win7 you can always use it as a reference for other actions that you might want to take if necessary)

The "Keyboard Filter" notification is a "SoftBlock" - you can continue the update even if you get this message. In the specific case of the "keyboard" filter (i.e. the pilot button quick launch) - he will be in fact automatically deleted during the upgrade process.

Once your Win7 upgrade has completed, you can reinstall the quick launch buttons driver.
