  I have a requirement of the customer to design a report to dashboard as follows.
  
  Guest of dashboard will have 4 filters, three filters comes from the table, but the fourth filter has 3 values of the table no. The fourth filter will have values like 'Report with Sales Amount', 'Report with the purchase amount', 'report with purchases and sales '. I have three different reports of Table designed for each of the fourth filter choices. But how I apply, also in line of dashboard and navigate through the rite based on the selection report.

  Create a filter on the 2nd column and reference the variable var_criteria of presentation and it by default "in relation to the amount of sales.

  On the dashboard in the section page put the report and select navigatoin guided by selecting report 2.

  I have used JDev 11.1.1.2.0
  
  On my main page, it has a query section and view the result to a component of the lookup table and also has functioning as (update/deletion) buttons in the toolbar.
  
  I want to toggle buttons operating according to some value of the selected line in the table, and I searched on the OTN forum, found more than issues like that, but seemed no found a good solution.
  
  The table is a unique and has a status column selection, its data type is integer, and I want to activate the buttons when the value of the status field of the selected line is 0 or 1, disable the buttons when the State value is other values.
  
  Code of the table as:

  bind to the attribute in the PageDef file for the status field. Then configure the PartialTriggers property button to point to the ID of the table. Of the disabled button property then points to the status as attribute link

  I have a question: how to get the selected values from the pivot table filter bar programmatically?
  
  I tried to use

  pivotTable.getDataModel().getDataAccess().getValueQDR(startRow, startCol, DataAccess.QDR_WITH_PAGE);

  but to the edge of the side DATA INCORRECTESdeclarations page, it seems that it will return the cached values.

  You can retrieve the value selected in the PivotFilterBar through the PivotFilterBar model, instead of dataaccess:

  Download the template of the bar pivot filter instance
  QueryDescriptior queryDescriptor = (QueryDescriptor) pivotFilterBar.getValue ();

  retrieve a list of criterion, each of them is used to fill each lov in the pivot filter bar
  ConjunctionCriterion conjunctionCriterion = queryDescriptor.getConjunctionCriterion ();
  List criterionList = conjunctionCriterion.getCriterionList ();
  for (int i = 0; i)<_criterionList.size(); i++)="">

  I'm doing a vi where I save the selected value from the ListBox with values respective tab control dropdown selected in another list box. Whenever I select Item1 can change of course and the respective tab will be open for this element. But now I want to just save the selection and put it into another ListBox.SO I can't renmove or add my wishes. Please help me.

• 2 definitions of view based on the value of the table

  Is it possible to have 2 different definitions of each entry of 2 base tables display different, based on the value of the table?
  
  We have 2 tables with similar columns, one with historical and other data was only the latest / greatest according to yesterday (it is populated by ETL from mainframe). Changes made by the java application online is now going into the table containing historical data immediately, but edits made in mainframe comes to the table with the data current next day.
  
  There are 2 products, an is based on the last and largest of the historical table based on cre date and date of mod and other product relies on the table with the current data (not historical).
  
  Tried using joins for these two tables but the performance wasn't good and each product needs table data alone, and so I wanted to eliminate joins.
  
  We wanted to use the same name for the view from the metadata using the shared functionality based on the name of the view.
  
  Is there a way define a view under certain conditions?
  
  It is:
  
  If the value for a particular parameter is 0 then
  
  Select c1, c2, c3 of < historical table > other
  
  Select c1, c2, c3 of < no history table >
  
  Any ideas?

  I am new to ADF and Jdev 11 g (I'm a developer of forms). I had created a web service from a db stored pl/sql package. I can run a function with a parameter of the ADF faces.
  
  Instead of the input being entrable user parameter, I want to be based on a selected value of ADF table column. How to correlate the value of the selected row in the column as an input function parameter?
  
  I played with an ADF output text based on the table column ADF PartialTriggers the value set for the ADF... table that updates the output text based on the selected column. Can I use some kind of partial trigger on the input parameter?

• Get the current index value of the table control

  I have a table control 1 d on a panel that contains a value of temperature curve that I send to a temperature controller. The values in the table are not unique, because for example 40.5 degrees in the table could represent 40.5 degrees on the cycles of cooling or heating. I could have severat heating/cooling cycles programmed into the table. I would like a way to read the array index of the currently displayed item in the array in the up/down control of index on the left of the table control. I could then run curves partial temperature easily by neutrophilia a starting point on the curve in the table control.

  I don't see a property that I can use to get this index value. Anyone have any ideas?

  Use the property 'index values. It will be the first item of the output of a 1-d array.

  Using the function Max & Min regular (not table Max & min as you know) with tables and a good will of employment registry change.  Max Min &, as most of the digital functions, is polymorphic and works witt tables as well as scalars.

  Ideally you would simply place a NOT NULL constraint on the column in question, thus prohibiting NULL values into the system (assuming that your business needs, it is that the column MUST always have a value).

  I know there are operating functions, with members, strings, names of members... so that you are able to convert a string to a member (@MEMBER) and vice versa.
  
  But, is it possible to use a value of Member to select someone else?. For example, if in the account dimension, I'm a member of 'parent' with value '100'. Could I put a value, using the value '100' in the '100' member registered in 'parent' to select this member. So if its value is '200', I should put in '200' member.

  First, you insert the CDF, essbase server. in the zip file, you have a small description how draconian make zip archive contains a file bat with a script maxl who do all the work. then restart the essbase server and then a new list of functions should be available on the script calc under Group Editor "functions only the user".

  I have three databases oracle running in three different machines. their ip address is different. among the DB can access databases. (means am able to select values and insert values into tables individually.)
  
  I need to extract data from the DB1 table (ip say DB1 is 10.10.10.10 and the user is DB1user and the table is DB1user_table) and insert the values into DB2 table (say ip DB2 is 11.11.11.11 and the user is DB2user and table DB2user_table) of DB3 that is to have access to the two IPs DB.

  Depending on the amount of data must be moved between DB1 and DB2, and the frequency at which this should happen, you might consider the SQL * COPY more control.   Change some parameter of sqlplus session are almost mandatory in order to get decent transfer rates. Tuning ARRAYSIZE and COPYCOMMIT can make a huge difference in flow. LONG change may be necessary, too, depending on your data. The documentation offers these notes on use:

  To activate the copy of data between Oracle and databases non-Oracle, NUMBER of columns is replaced by DECIMAL columns in the destination table. Therefore, if you are copying between Oracle databases, a NUMBER column with no precision will become a DECIMAL column (38). When copying between Oracle databases, you must use SQL commands (CREATE TABLE AS and INSERTION), or you must make sure that your columns have a specified precision.

  SQL * the VALUE LONGER variable limits the length of the LONG column you are copying. If all LONG columns contain data exceeds the value of LONG, COPY truncates the data.

  SQL * Plus performs a validation at the end of each successful COPY. If you set the SQL * variable more COPYCOMMIT DEFINED to a value positive n, SQL * Plus performs a validation after copying all lots n of records. The SQL * Plus ARRAYSIZE variable SET determines the size of a batch.

  Some operating environments require that the service names be placed between double quotes.

  From a SQL * Plus term on DB3, can resemble the command to move all content from my_table in DB1 to the same table in DB2

  COPY from user1/pass1@DB1 to user2/pass2@DB2 -

  USING select * from my_table
  

  Note the SQL code * more line-continuation character ' - '. It is used to escape the newline character in a SQL * Plus command if you do not have to type all on one line. I use it all the time with this command, but I can't locate the documentation on that right now. Maybe someone else can put their finger on it.

  There are other ways to accomplish what the command copy and it is not without its quirks and limitations, but I find that there is usefulness in an Oracle Toolbox.
