• With the help of slide show Widgets

  Hey all.  Just a quick question regarding one of the slideshow Widgets.

  First, I added the image of Heroes on the page and have included the thumbs as a navigation tool (replaced them thumbs with colors to act as a kind of browser).

  Everything works well - however when I scroll to the bottom of the page, the image of hero moves with the page, but the thumbs are locked in place in the middle of the page (basically, everything scrolls under the thumb).  I want the thumbs to stay in position under the hero and move with the scrolling of the page.

  I'm sure it's something simple, but I can't seem to find it.  Any thoughts?

  It's hard to picture, but this shows what happens when I scroll on the page of images.  The thumb remains in place while the hero image scrolls upward with the page.  I want the thumbs to scroll upward with the hero - stay in the same spot relative to image - as was designed (above).

  Looks like you accidentally "pinned" Indeed, one of the components of the widget.

  But I would add another thought get this right in a more appropriate manner:

  Why not use the slideshow widget Composition category?

  Not that it would solve this strange effect, but it is better to design your thumbs with, rather than use curiously used thumbnails icons without icon. The difference is that the slideshow widgets are highly automated and keep a very strict consistency between the hero and the thumbnailimage. While the Composition widgets offer more freedom. This freedom comes with a little more work to put your images (or anything else) in the areas of the 'target' , but maybe you can spot some advantages over during use.

  I create a slide show with a lot of pictures of various events.  In the Gallery, I want to create a slide show for each event, which means that when you click on this one image, the lightbox appears to scroll through all the pictures of this event. Now, I want only a single image to show by event when someone comes on this gallery, but they click on the image so that it can come out in a lightbox.  How to create this effect?

  You can use any composition and insert the slideshow in this, or if you want users to select the events and then matching images, then you can do that through the Accordion widget.

  For example, introduce accordion on the page and in the area of the slideshow lightbox container. On the front end when users click on the labels that you can name as events and filling with image, then they will be able to click on the slide show pictures that would be pictures of events, once you click on image lightbox effect would be.

• ATV4 shows the same picture all the time during the slide show

  I have a few 1000 streaming photo to my ATV4; When you make a slideshow on ATV4 it will be only shuffle through a random selection of about 50 photos. This selection changes but every time I start a new slide show. The option to turn off "repeat photo" is not to make a difference. The problem is both and runs a slide show showing pictures as screen saver. Need some help here... showing the photo is one of the main reasons I bought the ATV. Never had this problem with ATV 1st gen.

  Apple TV uses only a small amount of space to temporarily cache the photos, it is mainly a streaming device. The 1st generation had a hard drive accessible and synchronization capabilities.

  In regards to your panoramas... free Photo Story 3 can a pan
  side to side... just set a start and an end point. However... Photo
  History cannot import videos... just photos.

  This is not a full tutorial, but should be enough to help you started...

  First be sure that the photo is less than 7200 x 7200 pixels pixels.

  Import a panoramic photo in Photo Story 3 and move on
  the screen "tell your photos and customize the animation."
  (do not remove the black borders)

  On the left, click Custom animation...

  Check the box on the screen to customize the animation...... "specify
  Start and end Position of the movement "." Resize and reposition the
  Start management Position and final Position you prefer and
  on the left, click the Preview button to see the result.

  Also you can import multiple instances of a photo and
  Pan from point A to point B in the first instance,... then point B
  point c on the second instance and so on.

  When the effects of movement are completed you can add music if
  you want and go to the screen "Save Your Story."

  You can left click on the 'Settings' button for several choices of
  resolution... the profile of 1024 x 768 is perhaps a good choice.

  Also... Choose a backup location and a name for your video.

  To save the project as a. WMV video file... click Next
  last time.

  Then you can import that video as well as other photos and
  video clips in DVD Maker to create your DVD. If you have
  problems with the video clips you may need to convert to MP4
  paste them into WMV format before importing in creation of DVD.

• I have deleted by mistake, my slide show on the sidebar. How can I get this back looked all over for help!

A scalable show of all my photos - as a gadget - had been to my sidebar-great fun, but mistakenly hit a wrong something, after an update to Norton and they diasppeared gadget. I know little about computers and have NO idea how to reinstall them. Now my sidebar has only 2 icons and seems lonely. Help

  Hey! :), right-click on the desktop and click gadgets. Then double click on the slide show gadget. :)

  I love that it is so easy to create a slide show.

  But I don't see a customizable option for not having my slideshow "adjust to the designated space.

  I fear not the thumbnails to cuts (better than resized to a weird resolution) but when seen in the slide show, some people on the pictures intersect.

  Is there a way to solve this (rather than put everything in photoshop and resize smaller so there's a border)?

• Is there a way to reduce the size in pixels of several pictures in a slide show?

  I have a Windows 7 computer and use Photoshop Elements 9 and first Elements 9.  I just finished a slide show containing approximately 360 pictures, much or who exceeds the maximum size of 1000 x 750 pixels.  Is it possible that I can easily reduce the pixel size of each photo?  If the upgrade to the latest versions of Photoshop Elements and Premiere Elements could help me accomplish this I'd be willing to do.  Thank you very much in advance for any advice or suggestions.

  You can batch process your images to resize them in the editor using the menu:

  File > process several files

  Place your photos selected in a separate folder, and then choose a different destination folder; in order not to overwrite the originals.

• Help with miniature slide show.

  I have created pages that have multiple photos of each product. I use a miniature slideshow widget to make a large miniature as the main image of the product that can be clicked on and does jump in a lightbox. This part works fine, but I also have an another miniature lightbox just below where people can see more photos 4 and 5 of the same product.  I want to do is merge these into a slide show.  I thought that uncheck "change set" in settings of the widget would allow me to divide the thumbnails and make a great product shooting and then place the other (much smaller) below sub form of secondary images, thus creating a slideshow. So if someone clicks on the picture of the main product they could then just hit then from there to see the rest.

  Is it possible to do or not?

  Please take a look at the site in its current form (WIP) and see how its configuration now. I need the page are exactly the same, but do have the main pic for each product beginning the full slideshow.

• Elements 8 slide show Help Needed

  Hello, I have 8 items and while creating a slideshow pictures disappear or something else happens because when I preview the it, all I get is a black screen.

  I tried smaller images, adding sound, then save the preview, even when I export or share the saved result is nothing more than a black screen, no pictures. I hear the music, I added, but not photos. Even if I add a blank slide and add text, nothing. I am puzzled and frustrated. I followed the video tutorial online exactly and still no luck. If anyone can point me in the right direction, I'd be very happy. I had the software for about a year and a half and never used the slide show to date part.

  Hoping someone may have encountered this problem before.

  First suggestion-

  I experienced this kind of problem with the black screen in preview and it was caused by the absence of authorization.  I'm running Vista and I got around the problem by starting PSE using run as administrator

  -in other words instead of left-clicking on the icon of the PSE on the desktop.

  -I just clicked on the icon of the PSE Bureau and chose "Run as Administrator" in the right click menu

  The process described above has been necessary despite the fact that my Windows username had authority of the administrator.

  There is a theory among many people that can be caused by uninstalling an older version of the EP after that you installed PSE 8. However, I doubt that it is absolutely the only reason.

  Second suggestion-

  If my first suggestion does not solve your problem, then I think that the second most likely cause is an issue or an incompatibility with the driver for your video card. Your Nvidia gtx580 is a powerful video card - then maybe there is one incompatibility with another component on your system. How recently have you updated the driver for your video card?

  -Have already been able to reproduce a slide show WMV file output?

  If it's one of your first alide shows with PSE, I suggest you post also how you plan to display your slide show done - for example - will be burn you to a DVD? You also Premiere Elements?

  -What is the format (codec) used for the video (s) you are using? If you do not know the codec, and then identify the camera that was the source of the video (s)

  -If you know what is the setting for the Prem elements project - post this info

  -What format will you choose as exit Premiere Elements - for example, you will burn a DVD to standard definition?

  -What is the resolution in pixels of the picture files that you use? (resolution of pixels too high can be a problem)

  -What is the Windows operating system? (most likely you will also be asked of the hardware configuration of your PC during troubleshooting)

  No, you can't.  One solution is to create 5 different slideshows and export them to the office where you can bring together them in a single quicktime movie file and use it.
