  You used port 70 for the node of the database layer, so you will need to use the same port pool (70 instead of 80) when running "perl adcfgclone.pl appsTier.

  I get this error "[REP_55102] unable to connect to the repository service [BIA_RS]" when I tried to connect to Informatica Repository Manager client to server Informatica which is insallted in another machine. When I checked the log "pmreplib.log" file, it says "ERROR: REP_51147 [Mon Feb 04 15:21:11 2013]: (7216 |)» 7680) cannot connect to the repository on the host: oracle2go, Port: 6013. ».
  
  In the background, as Informatica Server is installed in another machine, we have limits to access the ports. This is why I changed all default Informatica ports by running the below command...

  Hi Harish,

  On the Client Informatica Repository Manager Gateway numbers and the port are provided to connect to the repository server that runs on the given gateway and port. In your case, my understanding was that the Informatica repository is running on the 5501.

  So I think that you did not change to the port number in the administration console Informatica. So in Informatica Adminconsole node configurations change the port number to 60xx 50xx. There are 2 entrances to the repository server and the numbers of ports of the max and min of Integration Services. Once you change them restart the Services of Informatica.

  You can try to leave Indesign, remove this folder /Users/ {username} / Library/Application Support/Adobe/OOBE, then by restarting Indesign?

• Family safety is unable to connect to the service, WMI/COM questions

  So, to start with the necessary technical information.  I'm having the problem on new systems within one of these configurations:

  Windows 8

  Windows 8 Pro

  Windows 8 improved to 8.1

  Windows Pro upgraded to 8.1 8.1

  After I installed the operating system and all the available patches, I can add an account and (to Win 8) Note that accounts for the child.  If I try to point 8.1, I get error dreaded "we can communicate with the service right now, please try again later".

  In Control Panel, when I click on 'Manage settings on the Security site family' I pause then the error "sorry, the service is not available.

  Search in the event logs, in the Microsoft-Windows-WMI-activity/Operational log I get an error, 5858 EventID:

  The GUID changes from attempt to attempt, and I can't find the GUID in the registry.

  Race to the resolution of security issues family continues to tell me that I have corrupted files (and it has fixed their), reboot, and the problem persists.  If I could find on what files have been corrupted as the fixed store who could help, but I'm not sure.

  SFC/scannow does detect no error

  There is no installed applications outside that comes with windows (new installation).

  I configured 2 child accounts.  Family safety works on a laptop computer Windows 8.1.

  I can connect (browser) on the family safety website.

  I am a developer in the parental control team.  I'm sorry that you have had this problem with our product.  I don't want to thank you for providing an impressive amount of detail in your message.

  The WMI event, you found is indeed notable--it was our attempt to contact our service to add your machine to the parental control service.  The error code was an HRESULT value of 0x803D0013, which indicates that the web service returned an error.  There is no way to pick which was exactly the mistake, but we do actively monitor and review the errors that occur on our service to identify and solve problems that arise.

  We found a question that might have prevented Microsoft specific accounts to set up parental controls on all devices, the period you were trying to bring to the top of your devices.  The problem has been resolved, and we continue to monitor our service as well as these forums to identify new issues.

  Under XP.  After running ComboFix to remove the "rootkit" virus"that wiped out AVG and some windows updates, I got online and downloaded AVG free 2012 and windows update.  Everything seemed fine and I shut down the computer for the nite.  Next day morning... can't get online!  When I try to connect it says "acquiring network address"... Help!

  I find the DHCP client.  It is not "STARTED".  I got it started and restarted.  Then, I went to the guest of cmd and tried to reset the TCP/IP stack.  Should not the command netsh int ip reset c:\resetlog.txt suggested... Windows help page I want to enter this command, press enter and he would immediately return to the following command-line (with no info)?  I typed in ipconfig/all and IP of Windows Configuration it is said...   My desktop (host) is running Win7 Pro and my (client) laptop is running Win 7 Home Premium. For the office, I went to the control panel and allows remote connections. When I try to connect with the laptop in my same home network, I get an error message: Remote Desktop cannot connect to the remote computer you for one of the following reasons:

  (1) remote access to the server is not enabled

  (2) the remote computer is disabled

  (3) the remote computer is not available on the network

  Now, the computer is on and I can see what he listed as one of my computers on network. In fact, I accessed the command of remote desktop by right-clicking on the desktop in the list of networks and by selecting Remote Desktop in the menu dropdown.

  Hi, did a new install of XE 11 G on Windows Server 2008 (32-bit) - all series of fine and can connect to the installation by dΘfaut of Apex etc..

  No other software not installed on server, Oracle in fact no other software at all as it is freshly built.

  Trying to connect the database with SQPLUS to run the installation script fails with ORA-12154 error.

  OK solved this... Windows problem, but I don't know what.  Automatic updates were turns off so decided to let the server itself up-to-date patch while watching in this... one of the patches installed seems to fix the problem, which I do not know if.

  I can't do a software update to 9.3.2 (without wifi). Seen on another thread to remove this update under settings > storage management. Tried, did not help. When I try to check the updates, I get this message "an error occurred while checking for a software update".

  Something is blocking your access to the update from Apple servers. Update iOS has never worked in this place before? Have you tried to use iTunes to update to iOS?

  I'm not one capable of accessing any site despite having access to the Internet. (the only exception since this happened is responsible partial versions of web pages that I had already gone).

  The anti-virus program that I use is Avast. Avast does not work as well say that "service stopped", but I can press start to continue. (I recently updated Avast, so I am confident, that it is not only to have an update).
  Finally, my computer usually saves restore points, but available the most recent restore point is only from 6 days before (it is the day I updated my Avast).
  Are they related? There are solutions that do not involve getting on the Internet since the infected computer?

  Looks like a problem caused by your Avast upgrade to a new version of the program.

  You may need to uninstall/reinstall Avast to include with their removal tool.
