HOL-SDC-1303 - VMware NSX - unable to connect to the Service research

Hello

I can not connect to the HOL-SDC-1303 - VMware NSX. It reports: unable to connect to the Service research.

Anyone else having this problem?

This could be a case of the vPOD not 'hot' or fully loaded, is there a chance you can try to run the lab, once the console is in place, may have to wait a few minutes (coffee break) and try again...

I'll go ahead and run the lab to see if I feel the same way...

  • Error: [REP_55102] unable to connect to the service of filing [BIA_RS]

    Hi all

I get this error "[REP_55102] unable to connect to the repository service [BIA_RS]" when I tried to connect to Informatica Repository Manager client to server Informatica which is insallted in another machine. When I checked the log "pmreplib.log" file, it says "ERROR: REP_51147 [Mon Feb 04 15:21:11 2013]: (7216 |)» 7680) cannot connect to the repository on the host: oracle2go, Port: 6013. ».

In the background, as Informatica Server is installed in another machine, we have limits to access the ports. This is why I changed all default Informatica ports by running the below command...
    ./infasetup.sh UpdateGatewayNode-asp 5503 of na oracle2go:5501 - ap 5502 - sp - 5504 - sv 5505

Although I changed ports to 5501 and 5502, 5503, 5504, 5505. I don't know why the client uses port 6013 and I don't know where this port number is coming.
Could you get it someone please let me know how can I change this port (6013), so that I can connect the Informatica customer.

    Thank you
    Harish Nunn

    Hi Harish,

On the Client Informatica Repository Manager Gateway numbers and the port are provided to connect to the repository server that runs on the given gateway and port. In your case, my understanding was that the Informatica repository is running on the 5501.

So I think that you did not change to the port number in the administration console Informatica. So in Informatica Adminconsole node configurations change the port number to 60xx 50xx. There are 2 entrances to the repository server and the numbers of ports of the max and min of Integration Services. Once you change them restart the Services of Informatica.

Let me know if it worked.

    Kind regards
    Jay

  • Family safety is unable to connect to the service, WMI/COM questions

So, to start with the necessary technical information.  I'm having the problem on new systems within one of these configurations:

    Windows 8

    Windows 8 Pro

    Windows 8 improved to 8.1

Windows Pro upgraded to 8.1 8.1

After I installed the operating system and all the available patches, I can add an account and (to Win 8) Note that accounts for the child.  If I try to point 8.1, I get error dreaded "we can communicate with the service right now, please try again later".

In Control Panel, when I click on 'Manage settings on the Security site family' I pause then the error "sorry, the service is not available.

Search in the event logs, in the Microsoft-Windows-WMI-activity/Operational log I get an error, 5858 EventID:

    ID = {5144FE76-A71F-0007-0DFF-44511FA7CF01}; ClientMachine = nom_netbios; User = NETBIOS_Name\FirstName; ClientProcessId = 3640; Unknown = element; Operation = IWbemServices::ExecMethod - ROOT\CIMV2\Applications\WindowsParentalControls\Secured Start: WpcWebSync::EnableSynchronization; ResultCode = 0x803D0013; PossibleCause = unknown

The GUID changes from attempt to attempt, and I can't find the GUID in the registry.

Race to the resolution of security issues family continues to tell me that I have corrupted files (and it has fixed their), reboot, and the problem persists.  If I could find on what files have been corrupted as the fixed store who could help, but I'm not sure.

    SFC/scannow does detect no error

There is no installed applications outside that comes with windows (new installation).

I configured 2 child accounts.  Family safety works on a laptop computer Windows 8.1.

I can connect (browser) on the family safety website.

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi MarKenin,

I am a developer in the parental control team.  I'm sorry that you have had this problem with our product.  I don't want to thank you for providing an impressive amount of detail in your message.

The WMI event, you found is indeed notable--it was our attempt to contact our service to add your machine to the parental control service.  The error code was an HRESULT value of 0x803D0013, which indicates that the web service returned an error.  There is no way to pick which was exactly the mistake, but we do actively monitor and review the errors that occur on our service to identify and solve problems that arise.

We found a question that might have prevented Microsoft specific accounts to set up parental controls on all devices, the period you were trying to bring to the top of your devices.  The problem has been resolved, and we continue to monitor our service as well as these forums to identify new issues.

    Thank you

Printer not connect to the HP ePrint website

Printer connects using Hp and profile for fax set up etc.  But the "HP Web Services" article when enrecorded and hit the Activate button - it does not connect to the site - it seems just to refresh.

"If I try to connect thro the printer not the imac and try to activate the web services, it says" connection "on the screen BUT after a few minutes of trying - so says" CONNECTION ERROR - the printer is unable to connect to the service. Check the internet connection

ANY IDEAS - HAVE I MISSED SOMETHING?

    Thank you very much

I try to pull up the built-in web server (EWS) by entering the IP address of the printer in a browser and set a static IP & DNS address.

The information for the default gateway, subnet mask and IP address can be accessed from the Setup menu on the front panel, go to settings > reports > network summary and it will print off the coast.

Once you entered the IP address in a browser and have the EWS pulled up, go to the tab above titled "Networking". Then click on IPv4 in the left column; who will bring to the top of the address configuration page.  Place the manual radio button and fill in the IP address, the default gateway and the subnet mask with the information from the report. You don't fill the part entitled WINS server, which can be left alone.

You will then want to fill in the DNS of the page part, the favorite should be set to 8.8.8.8 and the alternative/secondary must be set to 8.8.4.4. Then click 'apply '.

Power cycle the printer. Turn off the power, wait 30 seconds and then turn it back on. Once it is fully operational, try again to connect to web services.

  • Weather gadget not working - could not connect to the service

original title: weather gadget does not!

I have Windows 7 Ultimate 64 - bit and my weather gadget does not work, it displays a message "unable to connect to the service.

I also tried turning off the firewall and antivirus , but it still doesn't work for me.

    Update:
Microsoft has DISABLED the weather gadgets and currency via a recent update of security, because of worries about the vulnerability associated with these gadgets running on your computer. You can read more here: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2719662 . Adjust the settings of your computer and all these other 'suggestions' people are, will NOT work. The function has been REMOVED from the operating system. It has also been removed from Windows 8 operating system. There are "theorists" who agrees that there is a security problem in the gadgets or Microsoft just doesn't support gadgets (usually from third party software) and has therefore disabled them in Windows 7 and eliminated in Windows 8.
Thanks to DaveNYC for the Info. Pass the word, because a lot of people is facing this problem just like you.

    Explain!

WHERE and HOW do you see the year 2017 on the updates?

Startup Win Update, click "View update history" on the left side, read the dates in the column "Date of installation.

(Click the "Install Date" to sort by date, click repeatedly to choose ascending or descending).

  • Short Studio 3.0 cannot connect to the Service Provisioning

    Hello!

After installation short 3.0 on Windows 2008 R2, the only box with Tomcat for the Studio, entering into the JSON string into the studio for Provisioning service, all I get is "Unable to connect to the Service of supply".

    String in JSON format:

    {

    "port": "8881."

    'server': 'localhost '.

    }

I can connect in console Weblogic (localhost:8881 / console) for commissioning without problem and the green box appears with health = ok.

Any ideas on what could be causing the problem?

    Thank you!

    Gordon

It seems you are trying to use unsecured communication (non - SSL) between the Studio and the commissioning Service, but your configuration maybe isn't correct.  See the following: http://docs.oracle.com/cd/E39271_01/studio.300/studio_install/toc.htm#Configuring%20the%20Provisioning%20Service%20for%20non-secure%20%20%20communication.

In particular, ensure that in your plan, the value of the variable transport-guarantee is 'NOTHING' and the value of the protected-url-pattern variable is ' / DISABLED ".  If these settings are not correct, you may experience the problem you are experiencing.  Note that the case is important.

  • Unable to connect to the VMware web service: invalid key file

    Hello

We have a CPO 2.3.1 who refuses to connect to vCenter (see newspaper excerpt at the end of the post).

Recently, we changed our server vCenter (part of a 5.1 update).

    We tried the following workarounds:

    • Remove and add all the elements of the platform from the portal using services SE
    • Re import automation packs (4 of the Starter Edition v2.3.1.38)
    • Re on the keystore password

    No change at all...

Do you have an idea on how to fix this?

    Thank you.

You have an invalid key file because the HTTPS certification has changed. You must remove the old keystore file and restart the OPC Server and then reconnect / run something against vCenter.

It is also possible to host Adatper framework/java problems I've seen often.

If you need more information, you will need to prosecute TAC with your service contract please. Normally, we try to solve no newspapers on the forums.

It looks like maybe the firewall on the server. Install the converter directly on the machine you want to convert, or temporarily disable the firewall.
