  I use Forms 6i against a database 11.2.0.1.0, Win 7 Ultimate 64 bit. It's the exact same configuration that I used previously and didn't had any problems whatsoever, but my computer crashed so got a new and just do a fresh install. I can compile a form but when I try to run the form by using Ctrl + are the module is built successfully, but does not run. Well, it worked for me before. Can someone give clues as to what this can prevent work?

  More likely, you must modify the properties of the Forms (ifrun60.exe) Runtime to run in Windows XP mode and run with administrator privileges. Oracle Forms 6i being so old it does not work very well with the new security model of Windows 7.

  I installed forms 10g developer and my db 11g is on the server, everything's going ok, I'm able to connect with db so, forms are also have compiled but when I try to run the forms then internet exlorer opens and show me a message oracle forms then disappears this form nothing pops up the following message juice
  "Internet Explorer has closed this Web page to help protect your computer"
  Please if anyone can help me what can be wrong?

  If you install the latest version of the Sun JRE 1.6.0_24 (Oracle) you should be fine. The minimum JRE for IE 8 is 1.6.0_18 JRE, but you can't easily this version more. According to Andreas, you change the file \DevSuiteHome1\forms\server\*formsweb.cfg* on your workstation to configure Forms Builder to use the Sun JRE. Take a look at the Oracle 10 g R2 Forms Services - with the help of Java plug-in from Sun for more information about how to configure the formsweb.cfg.

  I'm quite new to Dreamewaver CS4 and I'm currently working my way through the book by Jeffery Bardzell "training from the source. I got to Lesson 5 'crossing of data between pages. I created the fields first name and last name on the form, and then run the form via the server. I works very well and will display the first and last names on the form processor IE "thank you, john smith, to complete my form" the book then tells me to open the form processor and it should look to "thank you for my application, but it displays:

• Desperately need help from form submission

  I've created a form that will be used permanently by the employees in my office.  Fill us in the form and (ideally) click on a button to the form completed by email to an email address, I've specified.

  Here's my problem:

  The form, when sent, is able to be edited by the beneficiary.  I need the form completely unchangeable by the beneficiary.

  Sometimes, the form will not E-mail itself.

  I'm not a javascript guy, but I'm the one more focused on the computer in the office, then I typed the responsibility.  I'm over my head.  I spent days researching and trying to make it work. A few calls to technical support not really work either did.

  Can someone help me please?

  I use Acrobat X Pro and I too Live Cycle Designer (a tech support guy told me to use, but is not really help resolve the questions above).

  As the drive is not capable of flattening of the pages, you can't do that, but you can set the read-only fields. You should also set the default value of each field to the current value so that the recipient can easily reset the form. When you define a field read-only, it prevent a user to interact with it. You can do both with a script that loops through the fields and sets these properties. For a single field, the code could be something like:

  // Get a reference to the field, set it to read-only, and set it default value

  f.defaultValue = f.value;
  
  // Do it to another field
  f = getField("text2");
  f.readonly = true;
  f.defaultValue = f.value;
  

  You could simplify this by establishing an array of domain names you want to assign and using a loop to set properties. It then where you put the code? You could put a button that hides or use a bookmark. If you attach to the mouse event to the top of a button, the last line of code might be:

  event.target.display = display.hidden;
  

  By clicking the button would happen once the form is in competition and before you send it by e-mail.

  For the electronics, the document must be enabled for the drive. To do this with Acrobat 10, select: file > save as > Reader Extended PDF. Activate additional features. The user of the reader will be able to save the file and send it. If you include a button on the form to do this, the recipient will be able to click on the button, unless hide you it as indicated above, or you can use a custom menu item that runs a JavaScript submitForm which automatically sends the document.

  Follow these steps:

  1. close all the browser open except one
  2. open a browser session (I assume you are using IE)
  3. in the menu, select Tools > Internet options > advanced
  4. scroll to the Security section. Check the box "* allow active content run in files on my computer."
  5. click OK to commit the change.
  6. close the browser
  7. open a browser again and repeat the test.

  If the error message says 'Mobile Apple Device not found Driver' then it's an Apple problem, pure and simple.  The device driver mobile for the iPhone comes from Apple, not Microsoft.

  I'm trying to run a form that has been developed from Woburn. The data block is based on a personalized and designed by using a wizard in data table. First time around it asked for JInitiator, and then I did install (from C:\DevSuiteHome\jinit\jinit.exe)by accepting the default values. All this is on my local machine. When I try to run the form (from Form Builder after starting of the OC4J instance) that I encounter the following error. the generated URL is http://localhost:8889/forms/frmservlet

  problem is with form 10g - the certificate used to sign the frmall.jar (applet forms) has expired for a long time, so without signing yourself (which is desupported so) it won't work again.

  But this must be done on each client (it is scriptable for use via a logon script).

  Overall, it is easier to simply update to 11 GR 2 forms 11.1.2.2 where JRE 1.8 is supported by default, and the frmall.jar is signed OK. No muss no fuss.

  first get the acct of charge through query based on the id of the organization. Then create the customization of the form.

  Take the appropriate trigger

  give the condition

  then take stock property

  then give target object as our point that need the default value. I guess that's MTL_TRX_LINE. ACCOUNT

  name property, and then as the initial value.

  then in the value field give this query which give the fees based on org_id acct.

  record.
