• Need help, synchronization of message deactivation.

  I have LR6. I don't have a subscription to the CC. I had trouble getting my product initially installed. Customer service had me install a trial version that has now expired. I want to disable the connection to the message of synchronization at startup. My internet connections are too poor to support the functions of synchronization. I can't find a switch to turn off the message in my preferences? Anyone know who to disable this option? Help & comments, much appreciated!

  Hello, I use the latest version of Lightroom CC on an imac and macbook. I have two external drives that I keep updated catalogues duplicate and image files on. (it is a fairly new practice for me) I know it's heavy, but I like the idea of being able to edit any picture at any time in lightroom or photoshop.

  The problem is one of my drives lack now all my folders in the lightroom catalog and I can't understand how to get back them.

  The reader, I created a folder for my lightroom catalog and parent a folder for all my images. I copied then each of them to drive B. Once I open lightroom on drive B using all my laptop, I had to do was click on the parent folder and choose find missing files and I was back in business. in recent weeks, I went back between readers and computers make copies and put up-to-date catalogs and the image files that I went without problems.

  Today, I accidentally opened lightroom with two drives connected and worked on the B drive when I thought that I was working on the reader a catalogue. I don't know exactly what I did but I lost all the files I had to drive A. I think I can try to find missing files and choose the right folder, but I'm not sure. The good news is I can still work on the B drive and it is fully functional, but I need to know how to recover my files on a drive.

  Can someone help me with this?

  I'll go out on a limb and suggest that you use correctly the two discs. A reader (A) must be the drive working, any changes made here. The other disk (B) must be your emergency backup where you frequently copy the new files to a. No work should never conducted on the B, the backup drive.

  The LR catalog follows by {drive + path + name} image files.

  The location of the catalog is completely independent of the location of the images.

  When you copy the catalog of drive A to B by car, the catalog B still points to the files on drive A.

  If you want to use the catalogue on B with images on B, you must go to the files Panel and "relocate" all top level folders to point to drive B.

  The same thing occurs when you copy the catalog of drive B into drive A.

  My hotsync suddenly stopped working.  I tried to reinstall the software as suggested on the Palm site, and it worked at first, but now is not.

  When I sync hotsync window appears, the newspaper has no error message and everything looks like it worked, but none of the changes will appear in my calendar.

  Sorry for the confusion. I have not thought that you use MAC because it was not specified.

  What version of MAC OS are you using? is - this 10.5 or a different version.

  If it's 10.5, you need to use a 3rd party software called missing sync.

  But if this isn't 10.5, you can simply open iSync, devices to click in the menu bar and click on synchronization for palm os.

  That will to iSync and will allow you to synchronize your iCal and Mac address book.

  but from your description, you are ready to sync with the palm desktop does with iSync, which is the software for iCal.

• Synchronize outlook with the iphone calendar s 4 - round entries of high order receiver 4?

  I sync my calendar on my laptop via icloud (outlook & have downloaded itunes) with 2 iphone 4's. This was not a problem until a few days ago, when the laptop has stopped to receive entries from journal by since an iphone. 2 iphones always sync with each other and that they always receive the notebook entries, just usually send to the laptop. Suggestions?

  I try to have my setting from my old computer to a new computer.

  Because I got 2 computers using my CC, during the installation of the new computer I had to remove the CC at a time.  Now, I have connected new and old computer.

  After setting the timing on the old computer, it says that I am not connected, but I am.

  Mobile Lightroom will be only you help synchronize your collection to your mobile device.

  In order to have a same Lightroom library in both computers, please keep your Lightroom Catalog and external images of hard on a drive and fond of UTI the same catalog and foam between the two computers.

  Is it possible to vertically sync the time position of two or more cards of 2D axis system placed over the other?

  I have posted several channels on a 2D graph and a channel of particular interest on a separate table above, that was very easy to do. It would really help synchronize time on the two charts position, such as a scrolling graph also scrolls the second table, or zoom graph also zooms in the second picture of the same area, which seems to be a pretty basic thing you want to do, but I have not found a way to do it again.

  Any help is greatly appreciated!

  Actually, yes we CAN do it-if you have DIAdem 2010.  There is an example called "Alignment of the functions in DIAdem VIEW" delivered for the first time with DIAdem 2010.  When you run this example, you will get a new Star ' * ' icon in the top right corner of the Panel VIEW.  Click on the new icon for a collection of functions of alignment axis which I think will make you happy.

• Jitter of RT! Can multiple readings to a variable / cluster cause a deadlock condition?

  Howdy do.

  While gradually develop and test an application on a crio9068 (RT linux) I started to see 'finished later?' in my main timed loop indicator flicker. Start pulling my hair out trying to figure out how to prevent this. I did a 'max hold' vi and can see the longest execution time for each image.

  The application runs fine at about 75% of CPU with the Panel open load, and the majority of the iterations run at the time. Sometimes I'll have a 'pic' at run time, all four managers in the timed loop take significantly longer than normal to run and the indicator 'late' says.

  A few questions I've had accumulate while chasing this:

  -If I use local varables to pass data between the loops, but only write to the variable in one place, can I still cause a condition of blocking/jitter by competing readings of this memory space?

  -If I use a node FPGA read/write to pass data between the FPGA and the timed loop, I should expect this causes a problem? I selectively disabled a lot of my code, and it seems that is where some of the delay occurs. What me stem, it's that these parts of the code have not changed in the recent development and the thing never used to run to the end.

  -On the theme of the node FPGA read/write, I assumed before that I should not write to the same FPGA FP element in different subvis. However, the code is set up so that there are several parallel calls to the read/write node, just with different selected items. Is that BAD?

  -Similarly, if I ungroup and read the same item in a cluster in a "parallel" mode control, can this cause a deadlock situation, or is it the same as unbundling and wiring away in several places?

  -I am thanks to the recently renamed "software calibration and management toolkit NI (SCM)," formerly Drivven CalView, to manage the communication between the RT and a windows host. He is also careful fault management stuff. Anyone else using it, and is it possible that I am getting jitter by having too many calpoints in my deterministic loop?

  No indication on any of the above would be greatly appreciated. If I don't make sense on any of the above points I do excerpts from example to describe.

  What about under the name of multithreading - the same thread can run on multiple cores, but everything in a timed loop will always hold in a single thread.  For reference (see 'Set the execution order for screws of real-time synchronization'):

  To cache the runtime data, I didn't have a specific method for mind, rather I generally try to catch at least one instance of the hiccups by capturing variables of interest in the shift registers or a FGV, just to see if there is any kind of difference.  This may not be useful in your case, as I suspect it's interactive execution, what causes the problem.

  Regarding the interactive performance and determinism, there is really no way of knowing what will happen, but it will often cause the kind of behavior that you see now. Because you are more or less continuous between the target and the host data, everything hangs in the network or on the computer host can set the RT system, especially if you read or write data on the front panel. Given that all of your curls are delayed at the same time, it seems the most likely scenario, unless you have a VI reentrant or similar shared between all the loops - I have seen that a few times with managers error or stop sharing.  Given that these spots are quite often (it resembles something like 1/100 iterations, I would recommend put in some shared variable RT FIFO benchmarking and the deployment of the application as a stand-alone RTEXE.)  It should be fairly easy at that time see if instability persists.
