All reviews are useful

If your request before buying, I would say not to do.   The HD7750 is a low end card, and it is PCIEx16 v3. Your motherboard is only PCIEx16 v2. There will be a slight degradation in efficiency.

There is always a reason to upgrade, but you have given everything.

What is your goal? Each game has recommendations CPU and GPU. Example Crysis3

1st post, hope I got this thing right (sigh

Question 1: GRAPHICS CARD MINIMUM 3 MONITORS (I HAVE 4 HP W2207h MONITOR)

I just love this box, but... I have 4 monitors, what graphics card should I expect (there is that one slot pcie x 16... budget for the new card is in the card current from 150 to 300 dollars is a gt 530, no second slot for another, can I get with a card with 3 port all of my monitors have dvi and hdmi ports) I'm not too interested in so super high-end cards aren't a real problem for me, it's just something that I can get all monitors talking to this game box, intensive stuff more graphic than I do are photoshop cs5, development web and watching movies.

Question 2: UPGRADE EXISTING PSU 300 to 600 OR MORE.

Power is currently 300 max, I think that I have to maybe twice by that or more.  I don't know who PU fits and has the appropriate cableing etc. searched but could not find anything by announcing the replacement

  • Ask for help upgrade (Mac Pro early 2009 2x2.6 GHz Quad-Core)

I am a videographer who has need to bring my Mac Pro from the dead. Cheesy with video files, but not parts of. My reading so far led me to look at in what follows. I'm looking for a better understanding of each of the following items and upgrades are beneficial and worth that may be too kill for a round of aging.

    1. Memory. I currently have 4x2gb or total of 8 GB of ram. I know this is ridiculous, I have not increased by at least 16 GB so far. However, I have read that memory can only help so much and that some of the items here are actual speed thrusters. How much memory is recommended for this configuration? Should I buy? http://www.Amazon.com/16GB-DDR3-1066-PC3-8500-1066Mhz-Apple/DP/B0098MLFJG/
    2. Solid State Drives. I currently have 3 disks internal thatrange of 500 GB to 2 TB. If I used that as my boot drive, where is the best place to install (see photo below)? I read of people installing in a Bay SATA HDD or SATA optical drive unused. I read good things about it. http://www.Amazon.com/Samsung-2-5-I...p/B00OBRE5UE/ref=cm_cr_pr_product_top?IE=U TF8
    3. Video/graphics card. First of all, both mean the same thing? Are the belowonly of slots PCI Express 4 for this type of card? Also, can you have two installed? I have the NVIDIA GeForce GT 120 512 MB series. What is the best way to upgrade? My research so far has led me to the GeForce GTX680. Looks like I'll have to buy it was good. 4. Processor upgrade. I'm intimidated by it due to intensive installation and prices. What would be the next best bet - upgrade to 12-core? Where to buy?
    5. Firmware? I've seen videos and forums on (4.1 - I) (5.1) or (6.1). I don't really understand what that means. Should I be concerned?

  • Need help upgrading 10.6.8 to 10.7.

I have an imac 21 inch 2009.  I have recently updated to El Capitan and all stop working.  Reviews for apple store I erased from my hard drive and started over with my origninal so software away.  I installed 10.6.8 and then I installed my application cd.  None of the applications work without upgrading to 10.7.  I bought 10.7 online but I can't use the app store app without upgrading first to 10.7.  So, as you can see I'm stuck.  Any advice?  Help, please...

Application CD? What applications CD? The one supplied with the original system? It should work with the original system and probably a few versions later also.

Are you sure that you have installed 10.6.8 and not only the base on your DVD system that could be a previous 10.6? Using the Combo update for 10.6.8 should put the Mac App Store application on your computer that gives access to the download 10.7 (payware).  You need not 10.7 first to do (or it wouldn't make sense).

Are the specifications above correct IE compatible with my system? Or if you find these misfits, it will be better if you could suggest some product according to the configuration of my system? 4 GB works perfectly as well.

    Thanks in advance.

    Hi oceane

It will take time for me to look at the image it must be approved my moderators.

The Samsung RAM that you now would be this I guess:
    http://www.Amazon.com/GP/AW/d/B00CV5GWHC/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/177-5507417-4516704

No problem going in for 12 GB if you want to. But as I mentioned two identical RAMs have its own advantages.

Both the RAM you mentioned in the previous post seems consistent. Check if there are 8 schools of black memory on the RAM (physically) - chip look at their pictures. Some have 4 banks of memory even if the configuration of the RAM you need may be the same - they work sometimes in some HP laptops (from various feedback in this forum).

  • E0448c PC portable Pavilion 17: [need help] upgrading of Pavilion 17 Notebook PC e048ca

    Hello

    I'm working on a portable 17 Pavilion with an AMD Quad-Core A10 - 5750M + Radeon 8650 G Graphics.

I hope to get better results in the edition and so I would like to upgrade, but I don't know what room do I and can I replace it.

I think adding double graphs, but I don't know if it's possible on this machine. Please help me in any way possible in telling me what I should and can do.

    Thank you.

The video is soldered on the motherboard and there is no crack to add other types of video hardware.

There are motherboards for the Pavilion 17 who have switchable graphics double aliases, but these models use a motherboard completely different than yours. You need to replace the motherboard and the system of cooling of the laptop and you look at maybe $ 400 for parts and labor. And the best video used in double graphics is only marginally better than what you already have.

You do not have a hard drive 5400 RPM to very large, but slow to 1 TB and video editing can benefit a little faster hard disk access. I recommend either a SSD drive or even a faster drive (7200 RPM) mechanical or hybrid car to get a faster disk access.

Laptops used for true high-end video editing are mobile workstation usually models that have a lot more than what you can get in quality video equipment consumer laptops and they start at around $2500. HP Z-book would be an example.

  • Help upgrade Windows Vista (German) to Windows 7, please!

Well, here's the deal. I bought my laptop when I was in Germany two years ago. It uses the French version of Vista. I want to upgrade to Windows 7. I took advantage of the agreement of the student, but he had no option "Choose your language" during this whole process so I just assmed (ha ha, it's my mistake, I guess) realize my OS was German and develop itself.

It turns out that I have the English version of Windows 7, so I can't do the upgrade. (I don't want to do an install custom, because I want my computer to stay German!) A few other people on the forum with this problem were addressed to download Windows 7 in the appropriate language. Is it possible for me to do with the agreement of the student, or I still have to pay everywhere? If I can just get the right version, where can I find?

Thanks in advance for any help.

    Hi Elcian,

Thanks for posting on the forums.

Try calling the dealer that you have downloaded your Windows 7 from. They might be able to re-upload again in the language you want.

    Good luck, keep us posted.

    (2) I have 2 servers running in the machine.  One is a Windows 2008 R2. I need to increase the size of disk for this server. Currently, it is 144 GB. I need to increase it up to 260 GB. How can I do this? I tried to simply increase the size by increasing the C of this server disk Edition by the 40 to 80 GB VSphere client and D ranging from 100 GB and 200 GB drive [I'm running out of space]. But the Vsphere shows again that the orginial 140 assignment or not the new 280 Gb.

You must go into Windows on the virtual machine and use the disk management tools to extend the volume. It is a two stage process where you first set the VM, then the second step is to adjust the windows.

You are right. Your laptop model can be improved up to 16 GB and you can use the modules of memory 2 x 8 GB with PA5104U-1M8G part number. According to mobile information a slot must be empty, you can add the second 8 GB of RAM.

    I had a Vista 32 bit SP1 L305.

It came with 2 GB memory DDR2 6400 (two sticks of 1 GB). I have upgraded to 4 GB using two sticks of 2B) is there something else I should do to get the win to use additional memory.

I've seen many debates about 32-bit processes only between 3 and 3.5 GB total. I'm not worried about it. My system is always only using the factory to 2 GB. I went into the BIOS. However I see nothing importantthat I can change. I'm confussed. Where is the clock speeds up memory allocations etc.

Y at - there a trick to this or have I just blush $$$ in the toilet.

Thanks for any help I can get!

    Hi IRL1231,

Open your PC and a few measurement in parallel with the PCI-E x 16 slot to see how long of a video card will fit. The adjacent slot on the PCI-E x 16 slot must be vacant. Look at the motherboard, and ensures that the components on the motherboard will not interfere with the installation of the video card.

This PowerColor Radeon 6850is $130 after rebate.  The card is 8.5 "length.

PSU Corsair CX500is $ 40 after rebate and it's quality food.

    ' HP ' how-to 'articlesshould be useful.

TIP: Remove the flange (cover) and unlock the scanner and move forward before you remove and replace the power supply. This will facilitate installation. The new PSU cables will be longer so find an empty Bay and store them in order to improve air flow.  Install the power supply and that your PC stable first before installing the video card.
