  I finally managed to fix the problem by the chance. I had discovered that this problem was caused by the sypnatics of the laptop touchpad driver. Uninstalled A & reinstall it with the correct driver from the laptop manufacturer websites. Did not expect that it is the cause of all the problems. Thank you for your valuable advice.

  Hello, new here, but really need some advice or help...
  For some reasonI cannot get to my updates.  Everyway that I try to run my automatic updates for windows I get an instant error with the error Code 80070026.  I am running Vista with service pack 1 and my last successful update was in November.  I do not know there is an update for me who keeps my computer at risk or with this problem.  Advice or assistance on the issue would be greatly appreciated.

  I went through all the troubleshooting of this site tips and I have one do not seem to fix the error 7 b VMWare converter.  Here is what I tried:

  I edited the VMX to SCSI

  I go into regedit and changed the key of the LSI to 0 (it was already set that way)

  I ran configure virtual machine in VMWare converter with new VMX
